Pros:

it absorbs w/ patience, IT WORKS!

Cons:

it drys skin

i landed on this page in desperate search for a solution to treat my stubborn and evergrowing acne. Dan's regimen is affordable. i brought all 3 steps.the key is to give it a good week or more to start seeing results. and do stick to the regimen as it really really made a difference. listen to Dan when he says treat your face nicely...no rough rubbing. also, it really did dry my skin out but i didn't stop, you gotta have patience.only stop if you have bad reaction to benzoyl. otherwise stick to the plan caz you won't regret. right now my skin doesn't have those huge hard pimples anymore. my brownish marks from old pimples seem to fade away caz bp seems to make my skin peel. remember to put tons of moisturizer caz it really does dry you out. but if you are like me and you got no other way out..give it a try. remember to follow the steps closely and stick to it...you will seem to have worse skin in the first week or two..but don't give up.

Pros:

Is very light, sinks in quickly, doesn't dry my skin out, one bottle lasts me months and months.

This has become a part of my daily routine. I can wear this easily under moisturizer and make-up with no problems. My skin is VERY oily so I've never had a problem with this drying my skin out. When I put this on in the morning, I don't get breakouts. When I forget to put it on - I do. I also love the size of the bottle and price. Because I use so little of it, one bottle lasts me a very very long time. It's great :)

Pros:

perfect!!! i love it, this is the best BP gel ever and it is so affordable...my skin feel soft after I apply it, and it doesnt irritate my super sensitive skin. I've had pimples for more them 10 years and this is a product that ACtually works!thx dan

Cons:

none

please do your self a favour and try this product. it is so cheap compared to all those other brands, think practiv (doesnt work and irritated my skin like hellfire)! think lancome, vichy, biotherm! those are all over $30!! for a small tube and does not work at all! bottom line is, this is a gentle BP gel that goes on smoothly and doesnt dry up ur skin, works like a charm.

Pros:

Easy to use
Works partially

Cons:

Works only partially
Ruins the collars of good shirts and pillow cases
Expensive, for my budget at least

I am going to try something else. I had high hopes for this, but I am not seeing enough improvement.

Pros:

It cleared up my acne! and it's cheap

Cons:

It takes time to massage it into the skin

I've had bad acne in high school and mild acne in college. I tried everything: Proactive, Exposed, topical treatments, pill (Diane and Tri-orthocylen) and natural stuff but nothing never cleared my skin for more than 2 weeks. But Daniel Kern gel did. It's been 4 weeks now and I don't have any zits or read mark. And I'm confident my skin will stay beautiful! You should really try it... and if you live far like me, order a couple of tubes at the same time to save on shipping!

Pros:

The best acne treatment I have ever tried. Comparatively speaking, the gel is inexpensive and works way better than ProActiv. This is my third year on the regimen and it is the only product that keeps my acne away.

Cons:

None!

Don't expect it to cure acne overnight. I took me several weeks to be acne-free. Stick to the regimen and don't skip days or steps!

Pros:

Best acne product so far as long as you follow the regimen and use lots!

Cons:

Your skin will peel and itch for the first few weeks, but it will adjust.

Try it for at least 2 months before you give up.

Pros:

Works quickly

Cons:

Not in stores, a little pricy, but well worth it.

It works, considering I do NOT have sensitive skin, it doesn't burn. Slight changes even when first using it. I expect that in a week or at the most, 2 weeks that I'll be nice a clear :)

Pros:

Clears up skin incredibly well. By far the best BP product I have ever used. Not a pimple in sight.

Cons:

Using it twice a day on my face and shoulders twice a day as well as my chest and neck in the morning takes a solid hour to an hour to hour and a half. Also, using that much makes me go through a whole tube in just a week.

OK, so you have sacrifice time and money, but the result of awesome looking skin is totally worth it. I personally don't think the regimen would work without this stuff. Make sure if have body as well as facial acne that you buy it in bulk, because you'll go through it quick.

Pros:

Heals existing acne and prevents new breakouts. No scent. Extremely affordable! Does not rub off when moisturizer is applied.

Cons:

BP can bleach out towels/clothes so beware.

I have suffered from mild acne for 9 years. Now I am in professional school and very stressed out. My skin has been flaring up dramatically since school started. I was extremely self-conscious b/c I cannot wear makeup into the lab I work in. Each morning I would wake up to approx. 5 new, angry zits. Feeling desperate, I bought some of this and decided to try the regimen. It has been 4 days, but I haven't had one single pimple since I started. Also, I am not experiencing any redness. There is some drying. Having read the "what to expect" section, I anticipate that I may flair up in the upcoming weeks, but I feel that this regimen is a god-send! Thank you Daniel!
