Pros:

Feels wonderful. Very smooth. Light scent, if any. Great size. Ships quickly. Nice price and packaging!

Cons:

I haven't seen any cons yet....

I am obsessed with the regimen!! I am writing a review after using the regimen for nearly 4 wks, but tonight is the first night I have tried the DK BPgel that I received in the mail today. I purchased it mainly to help the look of the product under makeup; the cream Neutrogena OTS product would ball up w/ moisturizer, so I wanted to try this. I am already in love with it. It feels great! I hope it works as well as the OTS has been working for me. I had an initial clearing and then breakout just like the "What to Expect" page warned, but now I'm clearing up for the most part. My acne would be considered mild, but recently it really flared up after using Proactiv. :( I am so thankful for finding this page, and I hope my small amount of lingering acne will completely vanish soon. I have a lot of faith in DK's Regimen. Thanks, Dan.

Pros:

Reasonable price for the large quantity;
Gel Formulation is Unique and Different from Anything Else on the Market;
It works!

Cons:

Shipping fees a tad bit pricey

I am 38 and have extremely sensitive skin with a problematic, oily t-zone. I decided to purchase this product after reading all the positive reviews on the Acne.org and Makeup Alley websites. I have only used it a few days, but so far so good! I love the texture of the gel formula - it did not irritate my skin at all and is really gentle. Upon my first use, I could immediately tell this gel is unlike any other bp product I have tried in the past. I am using this gel in conjunction with Jan Marini Bioglycolic cleanser and Bioclear lotion. Very happy I tried it...hope it continues to work for me!

Pros:

This dried faster and is more effective than the cream I was using. I also like that it comes in a large size.

Cons:

Wish it also came in a small size for air travel since we can't carry on anything over 3 oz.

It's annoying that this isn't available in stores, so I have to remember to order it before I run out. But it works really well and has a good texture. And it's a GREAT value. I tend to be extra dry but this isn't too bad if I slather on the moisture.

Pros:

Works great - no more breakouts

Cons:

Skin will be excessively dry for the first few weeks, even if you ease into regimen. Occasional dry spells afterwards if you are not careful with lotion.

This is the best acne treatment. My light to moderate acne has been completely clear since I began the program with no end in sight and very limited skin irritation. Accutane worked wonders for me, but my acne would inevitably return 12 to 18 months later. Side effects for me were minimal. The prescription lotions did not keep me clear (differin) and left my skin red and irritated. Thank you Dan Kern.

Pros:

Extremely affordable, clear gel doesn't flake as much, and is pretty much invisible, even on my dark skin.

Cons:

It's not sold in stores, so you have to pay for shipping. I have combination skin, so I have some dryness around my mouth, but nowhere else. However, that's expected for Benzoyl Peroxide

Great value for 2% Benzoyl Peroxide; the only other brand I've seen is Neutrogena's 0.75 oz tube for over $7.00. Dan charges $8.50 (plus shipping) for almost FIVE times the amount. It's also a lot gentler than 5% or 10% solutions, and the only 2% solution that I've seen in a clear gel.

Pros:

Big Tube, Consistent in keeping my moderate acne away

Cons:

Not available in stores

I've suffered with moderate acne since I was 13 (19 now). While not as long as some people, any teenager with acne knows the pain it can cause. I've tried my share of prescriptions-BenzaClin, Doxycycline, Clindamycin, Cefadroxil, Tretinoin and finally Accutane. I was only able to take Accutane for a week but it cleared up the acne on my back and shoulders. When it started coming back, with nothing left to turn to, I decided to try Dan's gel. It was the best decision I've ever made. It is more effective than any prescription I've tried and equally as effective as accutane-without the nasty side effects. Do yourself a favor, try it, and give it time to work. While I have intermittent break outs my skin has never looked better. My back and shoulders are acne free and my face is 90% better than what it used to be, and that is only after a couple months of use. And at 40 bucks a month (4 tubes + shipping) its affordable. Bottom Line-there is nothing more effective than BP. Try Dan's Gel!

Pros:

Cheap, nice packaging, get a lot of product for money.

Cons:

After using it for three months my skin showed no improvement. Dried out my skin badly and I was constantly using moisturizers to combat that. Can not use make up because it will turn the BP white and will flake off.

For the money and size it is a good value. But, I went through moisturizers like crazy to combat dryness and whatever money I saved I had to spend on that. I don't think this is a good product for women who use makeup. I have switched to Pro-Activ and have seen good results. I have no cystic pimples now and can use make up and do not need to use a crazy amount of moisturizers with it.

Pros:

Ok, can somebody ban the proactive commercial...they fooled me and my face...felt like freddy kreuger using that useless acid. And can somebody give Dan the nobel prize for making life so much easier for so many people including myself.

Cons:

expected dryness...shipping to sweden...lots of dough...totally worth it though...

...can ´t thank dan enough for making these products...

Pros:

Gel is easily applied. The cost for the quantity cannot be beat. And it works!

Cons:

That you can't go and buy it in the stores.

I have mild-to-moderate acne was using proactive for about 3 years. I am not on the regimen. I just wash my face with Cetaphil and then use Dan Kerns BP all over my face avoiding the eye, mouth and neck area. In the morning I wash it off with Cetaphil and moisturizer for the face with Neutrogena SPF 15. When I first started using it, I noticed my skin became really dry for about a week but it's gotten back to normal now. I also make sure to exfoliate once a week with St. Ives apricot exfoliator for sensitive skin. I'm very happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone, especially for proactiv users whose skin is used to the 2.5% BP formula.

Pros:

Works way beyond any acne medication hands down! That comes from someone who has used Retin-A and Accutane.

Cons:

Dries your skin a bit...but it is to be expected like all acne meds.

I went through my teenage years and early to mid 20's dealing with cystic acne and constant breakouts. Once I found the Regimen cream online I took the risk of ordering and trying it out. It was the best decision I could have made. After using it for 4 YEARS now, I can say with great comfort that it is the best product there is for acne. My breakouts are non-existent, every once in a while I will have one or two small ones...but I assure you nothing compared to what I use to go through. My regimen is very basic, I put a thin film on every time I get out of the shower 2x a day. If my skin starts getting dry I use it only once a day. I purchase 5 tubes at a time and it last me 6-7 months. Don't hesitate to try this product out.
