Pros:

works, clears blemishes!

Cons:

flaky skin under makeup

i'm on my third week on the regimen and having great results so far!! i'm also using AHA cream so it's helping to dry out the blemishes. i have oily, uneven, acne-prone skin. i have a busy schedule and i'm glad that i finally feel like i can be out all day, and i dont have to come home to a big ole pimple!! for makeup remover im also using pond's microdermabrasion wet cloths before washing my face. if used correctly, and with patience (a month or more) this regimen will do wonders. if you've already tried everything else, this is definitely worth it than spending OVER a hundred bucks on crap that wont work

Pros:

It is pretty affordable and there are very good step-by-step instructions on the website.

Cons:

When I used it once or twice a day it made my face red and dry and painful (looked and felt like BAD sunburn). I dropped back to once every 2 days and then it didn`t stop the pimples from forming.

I stuck with it for 2 whole months, hoping and trying to believe that this would work (when nothing else has). Finally had to give up after my face started to peel off. It was red, flaky and dry and I couldn`t do anything to help it. Unless you have really strong skin (I mean not too sensitive), avoid it. I really wanted it to work, but this wasn`t for me.

Pros:

Light, goes on smoothly, didn't dry me out, no fragrance.

Cons:

Broke me out badly with cystic acne all along my jawline and chin.

I thought using this product would make my acne from moderate to light, but it's the complete opposite. It made my skin worse and I DID follow the steps just like Dan. Believe me, parents were wondering why I was taking so long on my face. I really wish I would of never started this product, now I'm recovering from the WHITE large bumps, the cystic acne and red dots. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Others have seen results, but mine just kept getting worse and worse. Use tea tree oil or the dessert essence desert blemish stick. It gets rid of my cysts from the DKR w.in 2-3 days.

Pros:

Large size is convenient and cost effective, gel goes on easily and dries quickly with no fragrance.

Cons:

Slight irritation like all BP products.

I think Dan has the best deal on the market for BP products, though I'd be interested in a 1.5% option for adults with less acne. I really like the very open and honest way he does business with full disclosures about everything.

Pros:

works really well, feels better and absorbs better than Neutragena On the Spot treatment

Cons:

none so far

I used the Neutragena On-the-Spot for a few weeks with great results, now I have been continuing the regimen by using Acne.org Benzoyl Peroxide Treatment for about a week and my skin looks better than it has in years.

Pros:

nice under makeup, helps clear acne, helps prevent acne, no odor, cheap, easy to dispense, good consistency, absorbs into skin quickly.

Cons:

can dry out skin/cause flaky skin even after a month of using it.
still break out a little.

five months ago, using this, i'd be acne free. the problem with me is that as i fight my acne, and i get a hold of better products and form a better regimen to clear my skin, my acne is getting worse. but, i recommend it. works well, not perfectly, as expected. i like it a lot. nice under makeup.

Pros:

Very effective even at just 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. I think the gel formula is absorbed much more into the skin than a thick cream you find at a store.

Cons:

Very slight dryness and flakes but easily controlled by moisturizer.

I've lived with moderate acne since my teens and tried many prescription and non-prescription drugs. This is the best I've found - highly effective with the least side effects of any drug I've tried.

Pros:

Within days of use my skin was totally clear! Also stops zits from comming to the surface.

Cons:

Dry and flakey skin. Also, becareful that it doesn't bleach your pillowcase! I sleep on my side at nite and even though the BP was dry, it ruined it :(

I am so glad I tried this! I have had moderate acne for years and tried retin-a, proactiv, minocycline, orthotricyclen, and EVERYTHING from the drugstore! This is the first thing that ever worked for me! I am so happy and I have only been on the BP for 3 weeks! This is a miracle and I will never give this stuff up! No more wearing tons of makeup yayyyyyy!

Pros:

It spreads easily and penetrates rather well into the skin.

Cons:

It was drying to the face, even though it has 2.5% strength benzoyl peroxide in it. Also, I did get a level of itchiness to my face with this product as well. It does some level of acne control, just not the best.

This product is one that I thought would have worked better than it did. But, I really didn't find it to be really any different than any of the off-the-shelf acne products that you can readily find in the stores. It does provide some level of help to acne prone skin, however I do feel that there are better products out there on the to be used for acne than this one.

Pros:

You don't have to wash it off. Works.

Cons:

You have to wait for it to absorb and make sure it doesn't touch your hair or any piece of fabric.

I used this product a while ago and it did made my skin flaky and it burned just a tiny bit. I stopped for a few months (for no apparent reason), but once I used the regimen again, the burning didn't occur and it cleared up my skin in just two days!
