Pros:

It works a little

Cons:

It BURNS! Usually leaves a little red spot with no head (see scar) if you pop it first.

Neroli Oil does the same thing, but won't leave you with a scar like toothpaste and other foreign materials can. Google; "Neroli oil for healing acne scar damage" if you made the same mistake I did. Don't pop zits unless they are ready and do it right!

Pros:

None.

Cons:

I used Colgate Total for about an hour. It felt like it was working but when I took it off it burned my skin. Not just a little redness but dark red burned look. Its been two days since and its improving very slowly.

I wouldn't recommend using Colgate Total. I talked to my aunt who has acne problems she said there are only certain types of toothpaste to use. She suggested to use toothpaste without a bleaching agent.

Pros:

Feels tingly, refreshing at first

Cons:

After a while it starts to sting and your instincts start begging you to get the stuff off your face.

Well, this is only the second time I've used it ever and both times nothing came of it for me, though I refuse to sleep in it because of what it does to some people. However, I have a friend who swears by it and you can visibly see the results on her. I guess it just depends largely on your own skin.

Pros:

Tingly, refreshing feeling

Cons:

I left it on overnight and it left dry brown spots and scabs on my skin.

I guess dont use it overnight but I just wana know how to get rid of these brown spots. :[ everyones skin is different so it really depends.

Pros:

Smells nice, you can feel it working.

Cons:

Doesn't work on big zits, is painful to get off, burns skin, makes it itch and hard not to touch.

I wouldn't reccomend using toothpaste to get rid of zits. It might reduce the size of small zits, but I wouldn't know. It's simply not worth the burn and itching and pain, mostly when it doesn't work!

Pros:

good for those small pimples. drys 'em out.

Cons:

gave me red irritated skin. and not good for really big zits.

i've used toothpast alot in the past when i had small pimples and it worked fine. (hey guys, only put the toothpaste on the pimple. not in large areas. some people use it as a mask. DON"T DO THIS. it's so bad for your skin!) anyway, then i started geting these really big zits on my chin (like 4 big ones!) so i used it and stung so bad and made them really red and reall sore. i would recomend it for those occational small pimples though...give it a shot i guess.

Pros:

Dries

Cons:

This doesn't work at all

It does not work and will make it worse

Pros:

Quickly reduces redness.

Cons:

Drys skin, cloges pores and prevents skin from tanning

I have to say this is not a very good solution Toothpaste contains an ingredient that does not allow your skin to tan, so you'll have blotchy spots of color on your face if you go out in the sun very often.

Pros:

-reduces inflammation
-peels skin away
-easy to use

Cons:

-use overnight
-blotchy red mark left
-doesn't go away for a couple days...almost impossible to cover up

I used the Aquafresh Extreme Clean in (whatever the mint is) I have never tried anything else... (I SUGGEST EVERYONE INCLUDING THE TYPE OF TOOTHPASTE THEY USED SINCE THERE ARE SEVERAL TYPES) I rarely have acne problems...I am looking into honey now as a natural acne cure. (WHICH IS SOMETHING I SUGGEST) !!!!
