natural and fair price
I am a diehard fan of tea tree oil so I always liked this product. It is not my favorite tea tree cleanser (that would be Tea MD) but it is an excellent fall-back because it's easy to get in most natural foods stores and very well-priced. I always used just a little bit, probably one small pump and then lathered over my face and it worked really well. Too much is definitely intense, especially for dry skin. I say give it a try because it's hard to go wrong with TT oil!

Pros:

doesn't irritate
doesn't dry skin
no harsh chemicals
easy to wash of the face/no resedue

Cons:

hard to find in stores

I like the product. I have a mild rosacea. It doesn't irritate my skin (most products do). It is not drying my skin, but I use it with cool water. It may be a key. I use it twice a day. My dauther started using it and her black comedons are less noticable now.

Pros:

Not very expensive
Cleans face really well
Smells good
Helps clear up acne

Cons:

Takes a while to start helping clear acne.
Stings REALLY BADLY if you get it into your eyes
Is really runny

This is a very good foaming cleanser for acne-prone skin. It smells good (to me, although some might find it a little strong) and feels good and refreshing. I use it twice a day, and sometimes in the shower. It helps get rid of oil and dirt. But believe me (and I found this out the hard way lol), it REALLY STINGS if you get it in your eyes!!! The other main con is that it is runny (almost the consistency of water, so it is kind of hard to use. But is is definitely helping my acne. I use it with Duac and tea tree oil in aloe.

Pros:

This product is very cleansing and leaves skin almost squeaky clean.

Cons:

It is sometimes very drying to the skin, I would definitely recommend a moisturizer after using this cleanser.

Overall this product is utterly amazing. Not only is it completely natural and cheap but it also works very well. After using it just once it leaves the skin radiant and almost brighter. I had acne all over my cheeks mostly and my forehead and it has minimized it a lot compared to other expensive products I've bought before. I would recommend using a moisturizer afterwards because it tends to leave the skin very dry. I've only had 2 weeks of using this product but in only 2 weeks I've seen improvement and will hope for more.

Pros:

The fact that it's thin actually is a good thing. Cleans skin without being *too* drying. Skin feels very soft and smooth afterwards, without any residue.

Cons:

Can be a little drying.

I'm now using the Trader Joes brand (which is essentially the same thing). I use it once day in the morning and put about 4-5 drops of jojoba oil on my face when I'm out of the shower and my normal oily skin is fine throughout the day. It smells very nice, herbal w/o being feminine. I only use it once a day and I don't know how my face would react if used it as night as well. So far I haven't needed to.

Pros:

natural, squeaky clean feeling, cheap (as heck)

Cons:

no "drastic results" like one might see in medicated

I like this product, because it isn't medicated. I'm pretty sure desert essence has redone their whole skin care line and that this wash is now slightly different, and has a matching moisturizer. It makes my skin feel great, and not just clean but healthy. It really got rid of the "hurt" that I have with acne. The moisturizer it comes with has marigold and chamomile which are natural lighteners, good for scarring. If you're looking for a body wash they have this [link removed] It works really well at reducing my oiliness.

Pros:

nice earthy smell, keeps my skin 95% clear, makes my skin soft, natural ingredients

Cons:

It can definitely dry out your skin if you do not moisturize. I put a little bit of jojoba oil into my dispenser to combat this.

I really like this cleanser... I recently got a foaming dispenser and I love the feel of it even more now! I doubted it at first because of the dryness and the runny consistency, but now that I put it in a foaming dispenser, it works very well for me. I highly recommend adding jojoba oil to the cleanser because its good for your skin, and it will help with the dryness if it bothers you. It didn't clear up my skin 100%, but there is definite improvement. (Almost nothing will clear up my skin because of birth control aka hormones, so I think this is my best bet). Overall, its a great natural alternative to putting a bunch of detergents on my face, it makes my skin soft, and it helped clear my skin up!

Pros:

Works well with oily skin.

Cons:

Will really dry out your skin if you use it more than twice a day.

I use this in conjunction with pure jojoba oil and my face has been very pleased with me. Finally* The best part, I don't have to use a toner (which i've always hated).

Pros:

I first tried this at a friends house, and was amazed how clean and different my face felt after using it. I got the big size bottle, 32oz. I love this product, no break outs since first use.
I see different results from diff people..try it.

Cons:

None so far..I will post again if anything comes up.

I paid 10.99 at Wholefoods for 32oz bottle, will be buying foam dispenser, and everything should be peachy. I've tried so many soups and creams, this by far the best cleaner for me.

Pros:

It's all natural and doesn't contain that many ingredients, which can irritate the skin. After 4 uses, I noticed my skin a little brighter and clearer.

Cons:

The smell is not very appealing. And you can only get it at Trader Joe's.

I use the face wash at night along with the tea tree oil pads and vitamin E oil. I have noticed that my face is clearing up and my scars are getting less noticable. I've been doing this for 4 days straight. I can't wait to see more results a month from now!
