Pros:

Natural
Lots of Good Ingredients

Cons:

Tea Tree Oil

Natural doesn't always mean safe. Do research on Tea Tree Oil before buying. I bought this and desert essence moisturizer and got extremely light headed and almost fainted. Tea Tree Oil in combination with Lavender Oil (this product contains both) has been linked to gynecomastia. Do not use if male, it will mess with hormones.

Cons:

Not great for travel

I would not recommend this for anybody with moderate to severe acne. It didn't treat my face at all. Sometimes stung and over dried my face.

Pros:

Nice smell
Leaves skin feeling clean

Cons:

DRIES OUT BAD!

This product is nice...nice to look at but not use! It dried out my skin so bad that my face was red under my chin and under my nose. The redness I could deal with, but the painful dry skin. My skin is overly oily and to go from one extreme to the other shocked my skin. It took a couple weeks for the redness and irritation to go away.

Pros:

Natural ingredients

Cons:

Too drying
Gave me a rash

Even though I tried not to use this cleanser around my eye area, I was getting a terrible, dry rash there. It cleared up after I stopped using the cleanser (it took me about 2 months to realize what was giving me the rash). I think that this would be a good priduct for some people with oily skin, but you also need to make sure you are not sensitive to Tea Tree Oil. I think that may be what gave me the rash as I have never had success with products containing Tea Tree Oil.

Pros:

Natural, cheap (I bought the 32 oz. bottle for the below listed price)

Cons:

My face never felt clean and made me break out worse than I've ever been since junior high or pregnancy.

I've heard that bladderwrack taken internally can aggravate acne. This product includes bladderwrack- I wonder if it can do the same externally for some people? Also, an awful lot of oils are listed. Shouldn't acne-prone skin steer away from oils? I was hoping for a safe and natural alternative....

Pros:

-Acts as an astringent; it draws out blackheads

Cons:

-Extremely irritating & drying

I'm a mid-20's female with pretty dry skin. I've never had acne on my forehead. After using this, I did. My forehead is covered in little pimples, my cheeks, which rarely break-out, are spattered with large zits, and my usual jaw and chin problem is even worse. I kept using it for 4-6 weeks because I like to give every product a full chance. I suspect that it irritated my already dry skin enough to make it break out more. If you are at all dry, stay away from this. Even massive amounts of jojoba oil didn't stop the dryness and irritation. If you're oily, this may be a good choice for you, but even then, be sure to moisturize.
