Pros:

its natural
absorbs into my skin nicely
kills bacteria
cleans my face nicely
I love it

Cons:

the smell at first but u get accustomed to it

I had a SEVERE hormonal break out for 6 months non-stop which had everyone wondering what was going on with my skin. After trying my old products like neutrogena, st. ives, witch and everything else, I went to a dermatologist. She put me on stievamycin gel 0.025%, doxycycline antibiotics for 6 weeks. Around week 3 my acne started to clear up, but the amount of scars that were left, hhmm. :-( I researched extensively on google, and came upon essential oils for acne, . My prescriptions are finished and I was due to return to the derma.. 2 days ago, I didnt go back. 5 days ago I bought a bottle of tea tree oil from Care+. Belive it or not, the acne that started to come up after my antibiotics were finished, most of them are literally flat right now, I still cant believe its the tea tree oil thats working. All I'm using now is Palmers cocobutter soap, tea tree oil mixed with distilled water ( as a toner) and tea tree applied straight on my skin. Every minute I go to the mirror and stare at my face wondering why I didnt buy this oil 6 months ago. It works for me. :-)

Pros:

Can control oil.

Cons:

Has strong smell and rather expensive (but worth its price) for its size. I also wish it had a dropper since it is difficult to keep control of the drops.

I am not sure if it has been long enough to judge its effectiveness when concerning acne considering I have only been using it for four days. I will say, though, that I have not had a blemish since my first application. However, it has been WORKING WONDERS on my extremely oily skin. My skin has not been slick with oil since I started using it. This is the first time ever that I have seen such results with a product and I am really impressed. I STRONGLY recommend it to any individual that is having problems with oily skin. It should also be noted that if it controls oil then it should control acne since it is a main culprit in causing breakout if not maintained. My regimen is: After I wash my face I put about a dime size of aloe vera on my hand and on top of the mound I add a drop of tea tree oil and mixed it with my fingertips before I smooth it over my face. I then apply my moisturizer. I hope it works for everybody else!

Definitely worth a try
I first started using tea tree oil after trying a ton of products for my acne. I have anywhere from deep cystic acne to the mild occasional type but this has literally been a life saver for every type! Many people do not like the smell very much but I don't mind it. I use this as a toner after washing my face, I used to wet a cotton pad and add just a few drops of tea tree oil and wipe this all over my face but now I make my own bottle of tea tree toner using water to dilute the oil. I also use this for spot treatment and it has really worked wonders for my skin. The spots are gone within a couple days at the most! I have even been able to stop cystic acne from getting bigger/growing! The great part about tea tree oil is that you can add it to anything: face wash, lotion, or water to create your own toner, and the list goes on. Just be sure to not apply directly to the skin without diluting it. Worth a try!

Omg Ik this is working for u but the purpose of a toner is to balance the ph of your skin and bring it back after u stripped it from cleansing tea tree oil is to harsh for that to you should use witch hazel or something ( alcohol free) this is coming from a soon to be esthetician

Pros:

It worked. I had a big pimple on my nose and usually have oily skin around my nose and mouth area. After using it for 2 days, I noticed a significant difference. My pimple was very squishy and filled with puss but the next night it was dried and no more puss. And I put it on small pimples around my chin and it all disappeared over night. It is amazing stuff I definitely recommend it.

Cons:

Smell is kinda strong, Kinda an ammonia/alcohol type of smell. But its easy to get use to.

Works. Works. Works. But only use as spot treatment. I would not recommend rubbing all over the face. Too much of anything can be bad.

love love love!!!
I had tried everything... Epiduo, bpo, clindamycin, differin, you name it. Everything seemed to take too much time and didn't help much to prevent. I wanted to switch over to something more natural and decided to try to add this into my regimen. It's amazing. Literally once you get over the gross herbal smell (which had grown on me!) You'll start to love the tingly sensation on your face of killing off acne and preventing new ones. My regimen: add ONE DROP to moisturizer AM and PM. If I'm feeling a break out coming on from my menstrual cycle then I'll add two or three drops AND/OR spot treat using a qtip. It literally reduces the size of a full fledged red angry pimple by 50% next morning. In less than 3 days that pimple will be gone. Never had any medicine ever work this great!!!!! Really the only thing is the smell. I like it but I guess it can get to some people. The smell wears off later. Highly recommended.

Pros:

-Heals existing blemishes
-Decreases amount of new pimples
-Reduces redness
-Inexpensive
-Readily available at any drugstore

Cons:

-Feel a slight burn for about a minute after applying
-Strong smell (some people like the smell, but not me)

I've struggled with acne for two years and over the last three months, it became severe, covering 80 percent of my face in pustules, painful nodules, whiteheads, smaller pimples, scarring, and redness. The physical pain became so bad, it woke me up at night to lay on my face. I've tried so many products--gels, cream washes, spot treatments, masks, foams. Salysylic Acid, Benzoyl Peroxide. Sulfur. Doxycycline oral medication. It became exhausting, frustrating and expensive. My dermatologist prescribed me Acutane as a last resort, but I'm uninsured and can't afford the high price. I thought I was stuck forever and that my acne would get worse as it had been over 3 months time. I started using a COMBINATION regimine (see below) of Dial Soap, TTO, and Hydrogen Peroxide and I noticed a difference within 3 days I had 32 whiteheads on my chin when I began using the combo and they were cleared within three days. After 6 days, the larger, pustules and nodules began going down and drying out. The pain in my face went away and I don't get nodules anymore. My face has improved so much (almost 100 percent clear and no new pimples) and in a short amount of time. Because it's a combo, I'm unsure of what ingredient is most responsible for clearing my face--the TTO or HP. I don't want to stop one to find out either because this is the 1st time in two years my face is nearly 100 percent clear. All I know is this is working for me and I hope it does for you too! My regimine (in the morning and at night) 1. Wash face with anti-bacterial soap (ie DIAL) 2. Apply HP to a cotton swab and dab lightly to the affected areas (steering clear of eyebrows and hair line as it can dye it) 3. When it dries, I put Tea Tree Oil on a cotton swab and dab the affected area I don't use a moisturizer b/cI have oily skin and live in a tropical/humid climate, so I don't have much over-drying. But I would recommend using a moisturizer for anyone else because the

great spot treatment
I use this oil as a spot treatment to treat either the spot or the area on my face, I do not recommend using this all over the face or straight from the bottle, you should only use this oil dilute with oil on a cotton pad. this is because this oil contains high antiseptic and antifungal properties, that reduce the acne bacteria that is building up inside the pore by drawing it out and drying it up. so if you have had a reaction to tea tree oil where you have experience more whiteheads where there had previously been lumps/redness do not worry, this is just the tea tree oil drawing out the infection and getting rid of it, you will need to keep using it for a couple of nights to get maximum results.

Tea Tree Oil Really Rocks
I really love tea tree Oil as they are so natural and don't have any complications. Organic Tea tree oils works both as beauty regimen and as a healing or say powerful gem that must be kept in every home. I would say that I am not really the type of guy who has been into acne or any other fungal infections but I would always keep one at home. My perfect buddy for face problems is always Keeva Tea Tree Oil because it never fail to amaze me but of course Organic Tea tree Oil is always there for me as well for some other skin issues that I may and my family may have. I would say, it is always worth keeping.

I have mixed feelings regarding TTO. i'm use 100% tea tree oil, undiluted. on behalf of me it appears to figure best on either cysts terribly timely in their life cycle, or when they need popped. It appears that it would filter the matter cyst however a lot of very little cysts pop where I place it. i do not assume it agrees with my skin or i'll be allergic to that, that may be a shame as a result of i prefer natural treatments!

I have gone through a lot of different products in my life but I haven't really found one that I really like. When you first put it on it does have a cooling affect, but it subsides fairly quickly. It really leaves my skin so soft and not oily the next day. I normally exfoliate my skin daily but with this oil I don't have to. I am very happy with this tea tree oil and will continue to use it to fix my skin issues.

Reduced pimples and scars! (Diluted with coconut oil and vitamin E)
I've never had clear skin, but in the past year it's been way worse! I've tried so many different things and nothing has been working. My doctor prescribed me Differin but my health coverage won't kick in for a few months, so that caused me to look for natural ways to heal my skin. This week I picked up some tea tree oil because I wanted to experiment with natural ingredients. I melted about 1tbsp of coconut oil and added 15 or so drops of tea tree oil and quite a lot of vitamin E oil (didn't measure). I cleaned my face with my regular cleanser and put a small amount of my tea tree oil mixture on the painful pimples in my face along with some moisturizer. I also put some on a dark scar on my knee that I got last summer. When I woke up, I saw a dramatic difference -the red painful pimples on my chin were gone and starting to heal. My scar is now half as dark as it was, which shocked me. It's been just 3 days and my skin isn't perfect, but I'm starting to have hope that some day I will have clear skin! I think having a light oil to dilute the tea tree oil and thin out the thick vitamin E oil increases the effectiveness of both ingredients on skin . I've used vitamin E on its own before and it didn't work half as well. So far, the tea tree oil has been amazing for getting rid of pimples. Just remember to clean the grime of the day off first. :)
