Pros:

Does help clear up acne

Cons:

Probably won't clear up your acne entirely

I've used this for about a year, probably. It does help my face, but it doesn't make my skin completely clear (then again, I have a lot of hyperpigmentation from my acne, so it will be a long time before my face is "clear"). I do still break out every once in a while (not badly compared to some people), but as long as I keep up with doing this twice a day, it helps out a lot and I don't have that many active pimples on my face. Honestly, I'm sure there are better treatments out there, but from what little I've tried for my acne, this has given me the best results. Hence why I give it 4 stars instead of 3 or something. The one thing about this is that if you want to use a lot of the BP cream on your face, you will run out of it before your next shipment (though it doesn't help that my brother uses my BP cream probably). I've had to buy some from a store to last me until the next shipment. $30 is how much I pay every 2-3 months, depending on what I set how often I want to order a new shipment.

Pros:

cleared skin quickly, smells good, easy and spelled out steps

Cons:

the cleanser burns my skin, sensitivity on my face throughout the day, small tubes for the price

I've used everything any drugstore sells for acne. While the skinid products might be labeled and sold under other names, I could never find the right combination of products to clear my skin the way skinid has in less than a week. I'm a bit doubtful that the small tubes will last 60 days, but we'll see. It only takes me about 3 minutes to do the system...I used to spend much more time applying masks and using makeup to cover up my acne. The only thing that bothers me is that my skin feels more sensitive and burns a little sometimes, but using a light moisturizer after the third step helps. My skin is not only clearer, but softer and smoother and no longer gets greasy by the end of the day. I'm hoping it continues to work this well because it's been a miracle for me.

Cons:

Dries out skin
Very harsh on skin

This worked pretty well for my boyfriend, but was hell on my skin. After using it for a couple weeks, my skin was so dry, it was painful to rub the product on my face and my skin burned for about 15 minutes afterwards. I didnt see any remarkable difference in the amount of acne either. Awful experience for me.

Pros:

seemed to work at first

Cons:

SCAM!! irritated my skin. customer service horrible!

I have tried everything to help my acne, proactive, murad, clean and clear, clinique, stidex. They all were a dissapointment. I was so fed up with my acne, and when I saw skin id on tv I got really excited. My mom decided to let my try it. It seemed to work at first, but then it began to irritate my skin and my cystic acne came back. I returned the empty bottles within about 40 days, which cost $8 in shipping. It was extremely hard to find out how to cancel my membership on the skin id website, so I emailed them. I got an email back the next day saying that my membership had been canceled. About a month later, another skin id kit was sent to me, and $50 was charged to my mom's credit card. My mom called the company and they said they didn't understand why we were sent another kit, because they found on their computer that we had cancelled the account. Plus, the original $30 for the trial kit was never put back on my mom's credit card. They said to keep the kit and that they would reimburse the $30, and the $50 (which included the shipping). My mom checked her credit card statement today, and the $30 was credited, but not the full $50 (they didn't give us back the shipping). My mom spent about 20 minutes on the phone with the company and the lady hung up on my mom. She called back and asked for a manager; they lady called her a liar, and told her to calm down. She also said they couldn't reimburse her shipping cost because their "computers were down". This company is a total scam. They are charging us for their mistake. My mom will be calling the BBB. I will never again order anything through mail order. I am currently trying a new skin care kit called "No Zit Sherlock" and it is working beautifully! You don't have to order it on the phone (I found it at sephora).

Pros:

Cleared up my terrible, blown up, cystic acne and kept it that way!

Cons:

It's been discontinued :(

I'm 21 years old I used this consistently for 2 1/2 yrs and was the only thing that ever worked! And now it's been discontinued! I even started breaking out, due to stress a couple months before it got discontinued. So apparently my skin changed and this was no longer effective, anyways. I've now been using the acne.org regimine religiously for 2 months with good results, but I'm still breaking out. Good thing is the breakouts are smaller so it seems like everything is calming down again :)

Pros:

- allows you to fill out a survey to accurately match your skin type
- leaves skin soft
- smells good

Cons:

- expensive for what it does
- not that effective
- three products is a lot to use when getting ready in the morning

I get random breakouts due to stress, so I took the survey for Skin ID. My numbers are 07, 32, 72. First of all, the cleanser/mask ruined my towels, which, to be honest, is the main reason I cancelled this product. But also because, if a product ruins my towels, I expect it to actually help my breakouts! It left my skin extremely soft, but any breakouts I have take forever to go away when I use this product, even with the spot treatment (my "free gift"). It doesn't prevent any breakouts, as I've gotten the same amount as I did before I started using this product. This product is also very expensive: I searched for the perfect skin treatment using Google, and I found a website that gave me cheaper solutions that I could buy at a drug store. And guess what, it actually worked - and didn't ruin my towels!

Pros:

Works good at first

Cons:

Rash
dried out skin
bad customer service

I was really excited to try anything that was more customized than pro-active. I have sensitive skin and it worked okay at first. After about a week my skin was burning and itchy. I came to the conclusion maybe I was allergic to it. I called the customer service reps to see if they had anything without benzoyl peroxide. When they said they did not, they were not very helpful with canceling my subscription. They would not refund my money or try to make it right. That was the end of my road with using this company in the future. I do not recommend this product to anyone.
