Pros:

None

Cons:

Broke my skin out severely.
A bit expensive.
Not much product in bottle.

I bought this product after being told it would help to reduce acne scars. I had been clear from acne for three years but had acne scaring. I used this product for about a week and experienced a very bad breakout which shattered my confidence. It even caused cystic acne. It took a good few months for my skin to become clear again. I think I will leave acne scars alone for now! worst product I've ever bought.

Pros:

-Smells nice
-Makes skin feel smooth
-Cheap

Cons:

-Paraffinum liquidum

Every product that I've used containing paraffinum liquidum (or other form of paraffin oil) has done the same; initially, it seems to lighten scars and makes skin almost glow. Within a week, the results weaken and as soon as you quit using the product, you're back to square one (if you're lucky.) If youre unlucky, you're going to be breaking out AND your skin will be drier than normally, since paraffin binds the moisture from your skin and hence dries it out whenever you wash away the paraffin oil.

Cons:

it claims to moisturize extremely dry skin . However, after 1 month of using it, there is no improvement. It doesn't get absorbed at all so it sticks to furniture, etc ...

I would not ever buy it again

Pros:

great smell
keeps face moisturized

Cons:

too much money
barely worked
kept my face greasy

bottom line is that it barely faded any of my scars and the one that it did fade it took like 6 months to...too long.

Pros:

Cons:

Too greasy
Mineral Oil is first ingredient
Pore Clogging
Made me break out in tiny bumps

This crap made me break out in a group of tiny bumps on my chin, the sides of my nose, around my hairline and some on my forehead. I don't even get these little tiny bumps on the regular so I knew it was from this. They went away when I stopped using it. I don't recommend AT ALL.

Pros:

It worked for a little while, I applied it as directed, for three weeks and the SCAR, WHICH IS ON MY LEG improved a lot.

Cons:

I suddenly had a TERRIBLE, severe allergic reaction, after applying bio-oil twice a day for three weeks

MY HANDS AND FACE SWELLED SEVERELY, AND MY EYES SWELLED SHUT (AND I WAS USING BIO-OIL ON MY LEG ONLY) I had huge, itchy, sore red welts for three days, I was in AGONY I will NEVER use this product nor recommend Bio-oil to anyone again, I thought I was going to die, and needed hospital treatment

Cons:

see below

We bought a two pack bio oil at COSTCO #548656 when my wife got it home she found it was impossible to open scissors did not work so she had to use a knife and cut herself in the process. The packaging of this product is ridiculous and and not worth the effort to open it. Its too bad that this is the best they can do. Definitely do not care about their customers for it is not customer friendly. Recommend you look for something more customer friendly!!! I plan to return it to COSTCO.

Pros:

Nice scent

Cons:

First this item is expensive. Secondly, my face was covered in pimples, especially in areas where I rarely got acne. Not only did bio-oil give me breakouts with every use but now, I am left with acne scars! My chin area is especially covered with the scars that bio oil gave me. It has been 2 months since I stopped using the product and I'm left with dark acne scars that look hideous.
This is absolutely the worst product to use if you are trying to rid your adult acne.

Don't use this product if you are prone to breakouts. Bio oil leaves you with nothing but more acne and acne scars. I now have to wait 3-4 months before the scars fade completely.

Pros:

Nice fresh scent, does not stain clothes, a little application goes a long way to make skin smooth.

Cons:

Expensive and does not prevent stretch marks during pregnancy. Only acts as a moisturizer.

I am 32, I bought and begun applying Bio Oil from my first month of pregnancy and used through my delivery (and 4 weeks post delivery). I applied Bio Oil to my hips, thighs, breasts and stomach religiously 3+ times per day as I kept a bottle at work, at home and in my car for constant application. Despite the consistent application to my skin, stretch marks appeared and remained after my pregnancy. This was my first pregnancy and I did not mind the expense of purchasing a large amount of Bio Oil as I thought it would aid in avoiding me developing stretch marks. My advise is do not waste your money if you are looking to use as a preventative for stretch marks. Rather, use any type of moisturizing cream as I am living proof stretch marks are genetic. I am small framed and only gained 25 pounds with this 1st pregnancy.
