Pros:

doesn't have a chemical smell
is very gentle on skin
softens skin

Cons:

leaves skin extremely oily
does not help acne

As background, I used Proactiv for years before trying Biore. I have been using this scrub for 3 weeks now, and have seen my skin get significantly worse. I know that acne will usually get worse before it gets better, but I'm so embarrassed by what's happening to my skin that I'm not going to wait for it to get better. I wanted to try this product because they advertise that it's "immediately 68% more effective than Proactiv", which it wasn't. I'm getting blemishes in places on my face where I have never had a problem, and now my skin gets oily within minutes after washing my face. I'm really disappointed in this product. I had high hopes, but it's only made things worse.

Pros:

Smells nice

Cons:

Made my skin AWFUL
Expensive

This product took my skin from okay to awful. I had a few spots before but this product, used along with the daily lotion, gave me both acne and cystic, painful pimples that would not go away. As a young teen I had perfect skin and it was embarrassing as a college student to have such bad skin. My face just hurt from all the acne! After about 3 months of use I switched products and my skin went back to how it had been before. I now have acne scars from only a few months of use.

Pros:

Cool minty clean feeling

Cons:

My face feels oily not long after i wash

I HATE the biore products. Not only did it not work for my face but it made it worse. I found now im getting "cyst zits" and not just one or two i have a few on my chin, one on my cheek and now one of my forhead... I've tried using just the face wash AND useing the face wash and triple action astringent and nothings worked.. Will NEVER buy biore again!!!!

Pros:

* Smells nice
* Really exfoliates your skin and gets rid of dead skin cells
* Makes your face feel smooth

Cons:

* Caused initial breakout after a week of use.

I was shopping with my mom to get my usual neutrogena face cleanser, and she pointed out that Biore products were good too. And that I should try something different. So I picked this product up and gave it a try. At first, it seemed to work well as it made my skin feel smooth after every wash (morning & night). But then, by mid next week, I woke up one day and my face started to peel all over!! After I used the scrub to get rid of the DOZENS of dead skin cells, I woke up the next day with little red bumps on my forehead and nose area!!! Seeing that the product was the only thing I did differently to my routine, I discontinued usage. I still have the breakouts and is going away, little by little. I'm not sure if my skin was just "purging" or not, but I really don't have time to go through this all over as I have already purged my skin with the use of vitamin A supplements.
