Instant skin brightner
Superb! Try applying yoghurt mask for instant skin brightening. Try any one of the following- Believe me it just works. Fyi..I have a sensitive , combination skin and suffer from rosacea and acne. 1. 1 tsp each honey, turmeric, lemon juice with yoghurt. Make sure to include the water that yoghurt leaves as that it is probiotic. 2. 1tsp each tomato, cucumber and aloe juice with yoghurt. This can be used as a de-tan. If you can tolerate gram flour ( chickpea flour) add a teaspoon in 3. Equal quantity of mashed ripe banana, oatmeal and yoghurt with honey-Softens the face . Try them and do let me know your comments.

Lemon juice really really shouldn't be used on the face! The ph is really acidic and can be damaging to skin. Honey however is really good, especially manuka, if you're not sensitive to it, sometimes it can actually cause pimples. Aloe vera is another great skin care ingredient, very soothing. Oatmeal can also be good for sensitive or eczema prone skin. Just no lemon!

Pros:

Smoother complexion
Tighter and cleaner pores
Lessens redness in skin tone

Cons:

...You're putting yogurt on your face...of course, it feels funny

When I first heard about this remedy all I could think of was the word: BREAKOUT Then I read up on the effects of yogurt as a skin mask. -The live cultures clean out your pores -Depending on the fat content of the product it can also hydrate your skin (more fat=more water retention) -The lactic acid is a natural exfoliater (Added bonus: when the mask is dry you can also use it as a physical exfoliater) I've all natural (no sugar added!) Greek yogurt as a face mask every 2 days for 3 weeks. My complexion has never looked better. It's definitely something to look into adding into your regiment.

Pros:

It was great! Cheap, soothing and moisturizing for dry skin. Helps with my one pimple to reduce redness. Next day - zit is gone! Usually the few zits I get take a couple of days to heal, but yogurt reduced the time to one day.

Cons:

Messy, but it's worth it.

Try it! You've nothing to lose if you follow the directions correctly. -use full fat plain organic natural yogurt. (doesn't have to be Greek yogurt, can be just yogurt) -Try mixing it with sour cream (also natural) which also has even more cultures and therefore higher cleansing and moisturizing. (I like Daisy all natural) -No flavored yogurts (Putting sugar on your face is no good, and flavored yogurt isn't as cost effective. -Try doing this right after a shower, as a shower steams open your pores. -You can mix this with oatmeal's rolled oats for gentle exfoliation when removing it. -Leave it on for 20-25 minutes! -Try to relax when doing it (Relieves stress) -Wash with lukewarm water and DON't use a cleanser afterward. If you do, use a gentle one. You can even cleanse your face with honey. YOU CAN use a light moisturizer, but I don't find this necessary.

Are you saying don't use yogurt or yes use yogurt, and does it take 6+ months before you actually see a difference

Pros:

soooo cooling and refreshing
makes skin glow
skin is soft after
reduces any redness
shrinks open nasty pores
application is o so simple

Cons:

havnt seen any yet

its natural and will help acne and redness. but what works even better is OATMEAL as a cleanser and then use YOGURT as a mask. trust me, these two together work like a charm. the oatmeal is so gentle, exfoliates, and cleanses the face. My skin is left so glowy and soft afterwards! :D i have been using these instead of any other drugstre products.

Pros:

refreshing
smoothing
reduces redness
calm skin

Cons:

not much is needed, so if you dont eat plain yogurt then lots of it goes to waste.

I use plain or Greek yoghurt as a base for masks. It calms the skin and feels very refreshing, I usually mix it with honey and turmeric. I use it in the morning because I find it evens out my skin tone so that I hardly need to wear make-up. (it helps wake me up too) even though the yoghurt can expire quickly, I still use it for my face as long as it doesn't get mouldy it just doesn't smell very good

Pros:

- Very mild exfoliation

Cons:

- The smell can be a turn-off for some

I love this! I wanted to try it after reading rave reviews about it, so I decided to give it a go. I purchased a big container of plain, nonfat Dannon yogurt. I smeared a thick layer over my entire face and let it dry for about an hour and a half. Rinsed it off with lukewarm water and voila! calmer, WAY more supple, velvety soft and smooth skin :)

A miracle!
I've battled with acne, oily skin and rosacea för 30 years and finally found the remedy for them all. I only wash my face with lukewarm water, pat it dry, apply and massage a table spoon of yoghurt until it's completely absorbed. Wham, bang - my face is smooth and peachy soft! I do this morning annd night and hence sleeps with like a mask. During the day my face never get's that shiny look and stays matt and smooth. Why didn't somebody tell my about this miracle cure thirty years ago? If I return to soap and acne-fighting lotions my problems a back within days.
