Pros:

Reduces redness
Reduces size of acne
Nice cooling feeling
Reduces scars

Cons:

Use half of a tub by time it expires :(

I usually wash my face first with non-scented anti-bacterial soap first. IT IS A MUST TO WASH FACE FIRST! I then take a CLEAN foundation brush that I ONLY USE FOR YOGURT!!! Then apply a thin or thick (depending on how bad my face is that day) and leave it on for about 20-30 min. Rinse off yogurt with luke warm or cold water (remember, hot water dries skin which causes more zits) After all yogurt is off my face I apply a TINY (not even a dime size) of moisturizer; this helps keep your face from drying out (my face dries up when it gets wet) Try using it nightly (or 3 to 4 times a week) within 6 months you will see a significant difference. This will help with reducing redness, scars, and zits. EXTRA YOGURT USAGE!!!! You can use yogurt in your hair too!!!! Just mix a little bit of yogurt, egg whites, and olive oil together! Put the mix in hair and leave in for an hour. This mask will help grow and repair your hair. Just wash out with mild shampoo and I suggest a leave in conditioner after to keep it soft.

Pros:

~ Reduces Redness!
~ Moisturizing!
~ Shrinks Zits Without Over Drying!
~ All Natural!

Cons:

~ Might be a bit messy the first time you apply!
~ It doesn't completely get rid of acne, just makes the overall appearance of your skin more even and vibrant!

This is great for redness, applying a yogurt mask every morning and evening made my severe sunburn completely disappear from my face in 3 days! Then I noticed that my zits looked a lot less red and prominent! ------------------------------------- This is how I use a simple yet effective yogurt mask: 1) Wait about ten minutes after cleansing your face. 2) Supply yourself with plain, full fat, organic/natural yogurt of any brand. Take it fresh out of the fridge, so that it cools your skin when applying. 3) Scoop the yogurt out with clean fingers and apply to dry face. Stop when you have a thick, gooey mask. (Evenly coated, or concentrated on red/problem areas.) 4) Leave on face for 20-25 minutes. 5) Gently RINSE off all the yogurt with lukewarm water. 6) Do not put any additional products on the face after rinsing. ------------------------------------- Continue with this routine morning and night and you should see results within a couple days! This is especially amazing if you have a bad, embarrassing-looking sunburn or red patches!

Saved my skin
My skin was rough; it was dry and oily, i had a bunch of clogged pores, my cheeks and forehead were always itchy and red, and pimples kept disappearing then coming back. Then i used plain yogurt. Holy crap. When i first tried it and washed it off, my ski nhad never been softer (it was always dry). Within a week those bumpy pores had been refined (very small now). My skin is so smooth. Not only that, but the redness has disappeared and my clogged pores are virtually gone. DONT USE ANYTHING EXCEPT YOGURT. i left my moisturizer, and as soon as i did,my clogged pores disappeared within 5 days. I left my cleanser too,and my irritated skin disappeared. I have a few pimples still after 2 weeks of yogurt, and thats normal with my teenage years, but its not even close to severe (all over my face) like it used to be. Its just like a small pimple here and there, which i use a gentle spot treatment for, but my skin tone has improved so much in a week. So smooth.

Pros:

easy to apply, affordable, and REALLY works

Cons:

smells bad, can be messy

after applying yogurt as a mask 2x a day, my skin is better than it's been in years. A couple months ago, I started to get hormonal breakouts, and my dermatologist insisted on prescribing antibiotics. The antibiotics just made my breakouts worse, and I started to get cystic acne, around 5 new lesions a day. Frustrated, I tried applying yogurt to my face as a last resort. Literally, in one week, all of the active acne has gone down, and my skin is smooth, with no bumps forming underneath the surface. It really does work! I only use plain, organic yogurt, with live active cultures...

Pros:

-reduces redness
-cools skin (cold yogurt feels good)
-reduces pimple size
-light exfoliant (lactic acid)
-moisturizes

Cons:

-nothing, tho it can get a bit runny or messy
-my yogurt expires after 2.5 months after i buy it. not too bad, but i had to divide some of it to eat that way my 32 oz yogurt wouldn't go to waste

i'm gonna tell you now, i got some BAD acne! you can go to the link below (if it works) or go to my personal regimen logs to see my face. [link edited out] i got the idea of plain yogurt from bubzbeauty on youtube. it was a natural product that she swore by and she has some nice skin and her suggestions have never steered me wrong before. anyway i picked up some plain stop and shop yogurt since it was cheaper than dannon and gave it a go. basically i take a spoonful of yogurt and take my mini blush brush that i bought (though i don't wear makeup so i figure hey might as well use this set for something lol) dip it in the yogurt on the spoon and spread it all over my face. i leave it for 20 -30 minutes and wash with cold water. i do this mask after i have cleaned my face really well. oh my word! it moisturizes my skin, reduces redness and after using it at night my pimples reduced greatly!! the best natural remedy ever (well besides lemon cuz that is good too) this morning i decided to put some lemon on my face, let it dry then add the yogurt mask. (using lemon to help my hyperpigmentation) and i am touching my face now and ahhhh it feels like it has drunk loads of water!!! don't even have to put moisturizer (unless i'm going outside then eucerin spf 30) overall excellent product. it's cheap and huge so it should last you about 2 months. wish it didn't ever expire tho.

Does not help acne, but smooths skin
I've used this alone, and i found the next day my skin was really oily with residue. I now mix it with my oatmeal scrub with a little honey and it definitely helps with redness and smoothness. Has it worked for my acne? no. But it is gentle and you're better off using something like this rather than lemon, aspirin etc.

Pros:

Exceptionally soothing and simple mask that can be used on sensitive, inflamed, or combination skin.

Cons:

Drippy -- use before a shower, and plan to sit still. Soothes and speeds healing of acne inflammation and product-related dryness, but does not dry out blemishes -- see below.

Straight from the refrigerator, a plain yogurt mask is one of the easiest, most calming face treatments I know of. Physically (and emotionally!) acne flare-ups leave me very sensitive, and yogurt consistently helps. I have never had bad reactions, even when applying on blemishes themselves -- seems to cool down redness and speed healing, though it does not dry them. For this reason it is best applied to blemishes on their way to healing. To dry emerging blemishes, I recommend spot-treating with a clay mask and using yogurt on the rest of your face. NOTE: use plain yogurt; sweetened yogurts contain all kinds of odd ingredients!
