Pros:

-Gets rid of acne fairly quickly
-You can use moisturizer to help with the dryness the gel causes
-Helps fade scars

Cons:

-Drys out your face

I went to my doctor to get treatment for my moderate acne. She prescribed me an antibiotic and recommended that I start using Persa Gel 10. She told me that there is no treatment to clear acne immediately but this gel would gradually clear my face up. I've used this gel for about 2 weeks, and my acne is almost completely gone and my scars are starting to fade! If you're struggling with acne, this is a great product, as long as you're willing to stick with it for a while.

Pros:

-Reduces acne rapidly
-Didn't notice any irritation or severe dryness using this.

Cons:

-Seems to clump on very badly on the skin
-Expensive
-Small Quantity

I heard so much good stuff about Clean and Clear's Persa-Gel from the reviews here. I'm currently a long term user of Panoxyl Aquagel, I begun at 2.5% and moved up to 5%. So far though it seems the Aquagel has become inefficient at removing my stuborn acne. So it decided to purchase this gel over eBay. The most noticeable difference was the price, this is very expensive at $9.00 considering the quantity which is 28g compared to 40g worth of gel I get from Aquagel. This is relative though considering you only need to spot treat with Persa-Gel, on the otherhand I can still buy a triple pack of Aquagel 5% for about $13.00 so I felt pretty ripped off. My biggest pro to this product is that I witnessed no irritation or burning (and my acne reduced much faster then before), I had used another 10% BP treatment before which was Quinoderm and that unlike this treatment stung horribly and caused acne due to the extent of the irritation. This for a 10% BP treatment is quite an accomplishment and you get the rapid acne reduction alongside the given strength. Though the major con is that I don't think it was worth the price, I think I'll just purchase Panoxyl's Aquagel at a 10% strength if I want a stronger treatment, also the Persa-gel didn't seem to absorb into my skin well and instead clumped up which to me felt like a waste of an already expensive product. This product great for customers on here who are willing to fork out any amount of cash for a treatment, but for those on a tight budget you should look elsewhere, I suggest looking into purchasing Dan's 2.5% Treatment, while it's pricey you get so much product and no other company out there delivers that (wish he would sell at different strengths!) I also highly recommend Aquagel which is cheap and delivers very well, another product you can try is Nixoderm which is a Salicylic acid treatment but from experience has gotten rid of my acne faster than any other BP treatment on th

Pros:

Works quickly and effectively

Cons:

Can't use this product in sunlight, drying

I use this as a night cream, I just put it all over my face. The thing is, I've been doing this for years now and my skin is so used to the product that it will not remove any acne- but it does however prevent acne. When I first started using this a while back, I remember instantly loving it! So, although it doesn't work so well for me now, if you've never used this, it should work for you. Note: when I started using this, my acne was moderate

Pros:

Didn't burn when I first applied it on my pimple, unlike the other products I've tried, worked immediately...for ME.

Cons:

None, I love this thing! And it was so cheap!

I've worked for so many companies that sell products for acne, I tried it all. Everything either burned my face, dried it out, or just didn't work. I only use this at night because it dries white. First I cleanse my face with my aveeno clear complexion cleanser, then I used my Clarins toner for oily/combo skin, then I apply my daily serum from clarins"multi-activ skin renewal"...zap on my clean and clear persa gel on my pimples and apply my aveen clear complexion moisturizer. The clarins products are very expensive but the other products were cheap. I've had acne since I was 14, I'm 22 now and I can happily say I'm acne free :)

Pros:

exfoliating,calming,clearing

Cons:

irritating the first 4 or 5 days

B.P. is the sh*t i put it on before bed after i have washed with a 2.5% salicylic acid wash, when i wake up the next day my skin is much calmer, and any little pimps are receeding, over the past few weeks i have even noticed my scars getting lighter. i hate my scars so i also use neutrogena helioplex spf70 my causes for my acne are extreme stress, oil, and bacteria i take zinc, and a b complex for internal stuff and benzoyl peroxide for the outside.

Pros:

Great for treating persistent body acne.

Cons:

Smells horrible, bleaches hair and clothes.

For body acne, I recommend washing affected areas with a gentle soap-free cleanser, then applying a layer of Persa-Gel to the entire area before bed. I don't use this stuff on my face, too irritating. BP actually kills the bacteria that cause acne, so it's a great treatment to clear up skin. Persa-Gel is also a good spot treater for individual zits.

Pros:

My acne is extremely severe and this is the first acne medication that is over the counter that actually works. Cleared my face completely and acne does not come back at all.

Cons:

None! This is the most amazing product I have ever used. Much better than prescription medication. Does not dry out my skin at all.

Everyone who has acne must try this product. You will not be disappointed.
