I started getting breakouts around 9 where my headgear was (tae kwon do) so my forehead and jawline. Over the years it stuck around but wasn't anything too bad. Around 19 besides the occasional breakout during the monthly lady visit my skin was pretty clear. After the birth of my first child recently my skin went bizerk! It went from ' normal' to oily. since my skin type changed my makeup had to as well. my breakouts were mild until I used MAC foundation,my skin broke out so bad. I stopped using that makeup and cleaned my brushes several times and switched to, organic makeup. I tried several home remedies but nothing helped at all. Its been 7 months and the breakouts just don't stop. The differ from the really tiny bumps to the big inflamed painful ones. Its not severe, but still embarrassing. I picked this up 2 days ago and use it as recommended. Its not a miracle product and I know it'll take patience until I Get clear skin, but do far the results are mild but still results. I can already see its drying out the acne. I haven't had a problem so far with dryness/flaking if my skin but maybe thats because my skin is oily. I apply it to my whole face and not just the problem areas though. It does say be careful with sun exposure so I apply sunscreen if i'm going outside. I'm not sure how it holds up under makeup though. I want my skin to breathe and heal so i'm going bare lol. All in all do far I like this product and am excited / hopeful for further results. Wish, me luck!

Pros:

Reduces size of large zits & cysts
Clears zits quickly when used as spot treatment
Prevents new acne pretty well when used all over as in the regimen
Goes in smoothly and easily
Absorbs quick with minimal white residue left behind

Cons:

Small tube
Somewhat drying, but not bad for being 10%
can't find the 5% or 2.5% anywhere but would like to try them...

Overall it works as good as any bp treatment. It is a gel which is nice, but only the 10% is widely available so I haven't been able to try the lower ones. Definitely does what it is suppose to do, just keep using it and remember, just because you keep getting some zits doesn't mean it isn't working. It will DEFINITELY reduce what you currently have if used as a spot treatment at first and help prevent new acne from forming if used consistently with the regimen as suggested.

Pros:

-Powerful, works fast!
-No scent
-Decreases redness and size of pimple overnight
-Doesn't sting

Cons:

-Not clear, can leave white residue
-Not very cheap for a spot treatment

This product is amazing! I've been breaking out with really bad acne ALL summer long. I haven't have a single break, a single day with a clear complexion in MONTHS. It really isn't something I'm used to. So when I bought this item, and woke up the next morning after using it I realized how much this is helping my acne. The blemishs on my forehead are no longer red and inflamed. They've calmed very much in 24 hrs. -It may be a bit drying, but I use a good moisturizer and I've had no flakiness!

Pros:

- helps prevent and heal acne

Cons:

- is irritating to sensitive skin
- is drying

I have dry/normal flaky skin. My skin is not sensitive. I started using this because 2.5% wasn't strong enough to prevent acne for me (I had been using it for years, maybe my skin got used to it?). This really works for me, but I would not recommend this to friends with sensitive skin. I would also recommend you try 2.5% FIRST before this stuff because 10% is a lot stronger. This stuff has gotten my acne from moderate to VERY light!! I am happy =)

Pros:

Gets rid of zits really fast and keeps them gone if you keep using it

Cons:

It will dry your skin

I have used alot of acne products like, proactiv, acne free, and clearsil and none of them worked for me then i used Acne Gel 10 benzoyl acne medication from rite aid and it works really good. The only problem is that it will dry your skin. So only use it once a day... You decide a dried face or a Acne face?

Works well for my hormonal acne
I get mild to moderate hormonal breakouts below my nose and around my chin. I apply a really thin layer of this to the areas I normally get acne before I go to bed each night. The prevalence of my acne has definitely decreased overtime (probably from 7 pimples to 2/month). I have been using this for about three months now. If you aren't used to using benzoyl peroxide, I recommend starting at 2.5 or 5% and working your way up, as it can be very drying to the skin. I use a moisturizer in the morning to combat this.

Pros:

This product goes on and dries clear. As long as you follow a daily regimen and do not have deep cystic acne, this works wonders. Apply at night, rinse face with a cleanser and you're ready to go!

Cons:

May take a day or a week to see results. Varies for skin types. Also if you live in a dry region it may leave some dryness. I use a light averno moisturizer afterwards.

Try it. All you've got to lose is a few bucks:)

Pros:

It works better than anything! I use it a lot, but I sometimes go off it and try something else, but I always go back to this! And it works fast!

Cons:

It makes your skin a bit red, but if you use moisterizer you should be fine.

I've tried almost everything to get rid of my acne, but nothing has worked as well as this. I love it! It works fast and it's not that expensive! The only thing I have a problem with is that it comes in a tube, so it's hard to squeeze out the last bit of it

Pros:

eventually clears it up
took less time than some products i used

Cons:

makes skin dry and flaky
dries and feels like u can move or make facial expressions

all skin types are different, so it might not work for some people. i also used dove soap and oil free acne wash from neutrogena, this product and the face wash contains benzoyl peroxide, which dries and irritates the skin and can also cause redness. my face had pimples and redness all around my nose and other places too, it was bad, i felt ugly and didnt want to leave my house until i used these three things (dove, the face wash and this product) it cleared in a week.
