Pros:

my breast grows up!

Cons:

no sex drive, may feeling down

It's my second month taking the pills now. I had serious side effect in the first month such has emotional distability, depression, no sex drive. However, I am felling ok the second month I am taking it. I still do not have sex drive though. As to acne treatment, i do not know yet, becos I am still breaking out but for less. I am using retinol treatment as well at present. I will update later.

Pros:

cleared up skin

Cons:

Depressed mood,headaches reguarly,gastro disorder

The fact that Diane 35 'makes skin beautiful' is the reason that i went on it,aswell as the fact that it is a contraceptive too.I would only recommend this pill to clear up acne because it does work.I have been on it for the past 4 months, but i have been wondering why I feel so depressed all the time.I snap at anything and cry every day.Even if a problem is small,i still get anxious and cry.I get headaches about 4 times a week, but they normally go away with panadol.I have become more anxious too.I am easily irritated. After reading these reviews I have decided to go off Diane 35 and go back to levlen.I am hoping that the pill is the cause of these problems so that it can go away.I really want to be myself again.Ladies,if this is happening to you then stop taking it and get your life back again. It definately isn't worth crying everyday!

Pros:

Skin is less oily

Cons:

Weight gain, headaches, itchy skin, mood swings, very irritable :S

I'm not usually sensitive to pills but this did NOT agree with me. I would not recommend it to anyone who is sensitive to antibiotics or any drug. There is nothing Diane 35 has that an antibiotic hasn't provided in the past...

Pros:

I have always had very heavy periods with a lot of pain as well as some cystic acne. I had tried many pills before this one and none of them helped my acne or lessened my periods. While taking Diane, my skin has cleared up considerably.

Cons:

I have gained a few pounds but that happens with every pill.

My skin looks so much better and I no longer get painful, cyst-like acne. The price is about the same as other pills and my periods are predictable and less painful. Have stayed on it for years because it works well for me.

Pros:

Can skip periods, very effective

Cons:

HAIR LOSS, ACNE

I loved Diane when I fist started taking it. I didn't have the mood swings that I had had with every other bc....But after about 4 months of taking it, I developed cystic acne (i've never had acne in my life and i'm 23) and my hair started falling out. I am definitely switching soon. I also gained about 10 lbs. But I heard that is the norm with most birth control.

Pros:

bigger boobs

Cons:

pimples, depression, lowered sex drive, blood clot (according to what I've researched)

I am using Diane 35 about a week now. I used Melaine before I switched to Diane 35 because I got pimples using Melaine. According to my OB Diane 35 would lessen the pimples that I have (which actually caused by taking Melaine) so she adviced me to take the said pill. Unfortunately, I am still getting pimples in this pill. It did clear my skin :( Should I stop taking it or should I still continue it until 3 months (hoping it will work)?

Pros:

cleared skin, birth control and lighter periods

Cons:

absolutely no sex drive, extreme depression and really dry skin

I have been on Diane 35 now for six months and it just seems like the side effects are getting worse. I have no sex drive anymore which for me this is not normal. Also I could not explain why I was always feeling so down. I would cry at anything and I had absolutely no motivation to do anything. I could just stay home and sleep or cry. Also I could snap in an instant and be really angry. This week has been really bad that finally today I said I have to figure out what is wrong with me. My aunt suggested to me that maybe it was my pill and that I should research it. Wow I cannot believe how bad this pill is. So many woman experience these same side effects. Alot of woman were even having suicidal thoughts which is crazy. I have also learned that Diane 35 is banned in some countries. I have decided today that this is not the right pill for me. I am going to stop taking it today. I can't wait to start feeling like myself again. Please think it over before you start this pill.

Pros:

I only had very very mild acne. But all of my friends were on this pill and looking great so I decided to give it a try. It didn't do much for me- I attribute my clear skin to Benzoyl Peroxide

Cons:

Don't want to come off of it and end up looking like a Pizza

What it does currently and what going off of it can do make this pill VERY addictive I would not recommend going on it unless your condition is severe Doctors hand this out like there's no tomorrow which is fine for me now, but I only wish they'd questioned me before allowing me to commence taking this pill
