Pros:

not pregnant...

Cons:

holy cow- the worst acne I've ever had... EVER, vomiting in the mornings, absolutely zero sex drive, my mood swings are off the chart- I'm depressed and crying ALL THE TIME and anxious or on edge... its like walking on ice...

I just hate it... its ruined the first month of my marriage and I can't wait to get to the doctor to get off this pill from HELL!!

Pros:

Not pregnant yet

Cons:

slight cramps, hungry all the time, lowered libido

I have been on Yaz for 2 years. I think I am much more emotional than before I began taking it. Also I hoped my boobs would get bigger and skin would clear up but it didn't really. I didn't gain weight but am always hungry. Sex drive is lower. I did not realize it at first, thought it was just stress being a downer but eventually realized the only thing consistent was Yaz. Also, the 1st year, my cramps were gone, second year- I have to take Advil 1 day before I begin the big P. ...Owell

Pros:

Cleared ance within two months of using

Cons:

MUST take at same time, and do not skip a day. First six months were an emotional roller coaster, but fine now.

If trying to clear up acne without emotional side effects, try taking everyday without the seven day placebo pills. This will helpeven out your emotions faster. Will also prevent the few pimples you may get with every period.

Pros:

Cleared up my acne, made me lose 2kilos.

Cons:

A bit pricey...

Yasmin worked for me. No side effects - just the fact when I went off it for a short while my acne came back - but when I started on it again, about one month later I was back to normal. Everyone is different.

Pros:

Great reliable birth control, mild but consistent acne around corners of mouth, has disappeared. In one year of use one zit, due to change of skincare lotion.

Cons:

Terrible headache on reminder pills that lasted days and not effected by pain killers. Pigmentation increase of face. Bleed everyday for first three weeks when I initially took started this pill.

This pill is very expensive in Australia with $60 buying three month supply, not on PBS, but if it keeps your face zit free, and you can afford it, go for it. The headaches were excrutiating and often I would take my active pills after only two or three days of reminder pills just to relieve headache or skip them all together. It reduced my appitite initialy which is great but I wonder if it contributed to my anxiety issues after a few months contineous use.

Pros:

predictable periods, no cramps, no PMS, clearer skin, no dandruff, I sleep better, nearly no insomnia.

Cons:

loss of libido.

I am struggling to decide which I prefer: better skin and hair, better sleep and predictable periods, less mood swings and such, or no sex drive. Tough choice. Once I discontinued it, my libido came back, but so did my acne, dandruff, PMS and insomnia.

Pros:

clear skin,better period,weight loss,NO NAUSEA!!

Cons:

alittle bit of moodiness but better then anyother pill ive tried

I asked my doc for yaz and by mistake he gave me yasmin! I have suffered from acne forever and birth controls do not work for me so when i heard about yaz i got excited. When i looked online to find out about yasmin i was discouraged to find out it was making people break out and become moody and also lowering sexdrives! Well it goes to show that everyone is different because my acne has cleared after the first month,my sexlife is better then ever and the moodiness isnt that bad better then on anyother pill ive tried.Id say give it a chance!

Pros:

Weight loss, less water retention, lighter periods, less cramps and bloating, prevents pregnancy

Cons:

Acne, mood swings

I highly recommend this product, in fact I tell all my friends to get it. I lost at least 10 pounds water weight. I do have acne, but I got some good meds from my dermatologist, so I'm fine with that. As far as the mood swings, well, I just simply warn people ahead of time about that, and it seems to work.My sex drive hasn't changed I don't think..it's always been low.

Pros:

Same weight, firm breasts, and not sure of anything else just yet

Cons:

Extreme loss of sex drive, acne, migraines,

I've only been taking this pill for about 3 weeks, and I had a lack of sex drive before from my other BC ( Aviane ), but now its even worse. I feel bad for my boyfriends, because i want to do it mentally, but physically it just doesn't happen like it used too. I have broken out badly. Worse it has been in years, but being that I've had acne practically my whole life, I'm used to it. I haven't gained nor lost any weight. I'm hoping to lose some thought. I'm going to give this pill a few more months before i decide to tell my doc to change the pill. I get migraines a lot more now, right behind my eyes. Drives me crazy! It costs me a 20 some dollar difference from my last pill, so it better work!

Pros:

I've had bad acne forever. Yasmin is the only thing that ever helped it. Also shorter and more regular periods, less bleeding and sometimes less cramps.

Cons:

Unfortunately I developed pretty bad irritable bowel syndrome from the pill.

I went off the pill 4 months ago - my irritable bowel has gotten a lot better, but my face is breaking out worse than ever. My friend switched to Yasmin a few months ago and is getting crazy yeast infections. Bottom line is everyone is different and you have to keep trying until you find the best pill for your body.
