Pros:

Not sure. 3rd week only

Cons:

My skin is super broken out. Especially along the jawline and forehead.

I guess i'll have to wait and see. How long did it take for your skin to clear up completely? I was put on Yasmin especially for my skin but it has just gotten worse :( Any hope that it will clear up soon?

Pros:

No Pregnancy, No PMS, No pain or breakthrough bleeding.

Cons:

Acne worse, though it has only been 2 months.

My PMS and menstrual cramps are so horrible that this is a life saver. I tried ortho a couple of years ago and had cramping and bleeding every day for 4 months so I quit taking it. I am hoping that my acne is getting worse before it gets better, but am very relieved not to have the terrible pain every month.

i want to be on birth control, i was on ortho tri before and that made me gain alot of weight. so far yaz hasnt had that effect which i like alot but i cant stand the acne im getting because im so used to having really good skin.

Pros:

No babies, regular periods

Cons:

Horrible headaches, Depression, Mood swings, and leg cramps

When I started Yasmin I had the common side effects of nausea and not really any bad pms no weight gain or anything. after about 6 months I got really depressed my relationships were horrible because I didn't want to be around anyone. I had horrible mood swings and would go off on my boyfriend for no reason and anyone else that was in my path! I would also get anxiety attacks I dont recommend this pill I have switched to mircette! so hopefully that one works a lot better!

Pros:

less acne, bigger boobs (good for me), not pregnant!

Cons:

weight gain (ALOT), no appetite, moody, depressed, dry skin, no sex drive, LOOOONG periods

I went on yasmin to clear up my acne...and that is exactly what it did. After 3 months, I was just left with scars. I'm on my sixth month now, and I've had my period for 2 months straight, HEAVY. Now if you can handle the depression, mood swings, constant bleeding, low sex drive, and weight gain...then go for it. And everyone is different, so it may work for you. I'm going to go on Accutane now, yasmin didn't work for me. (IF YOU ARE ALREADY A DEPRESSED PERSON, DO NOT TAKE!!! SERIOUSLY!)

Pros:

Really reduced my cramps and the days of my period to no more than 3 days.

Cons:

Horrible ACNE @ the age of 34!

I'm changing due to acne problems. When I asked my Dr. about it, he claimed tha Yasmin was rated for clearing up ACNE by the FDA. I could NOT believe it. I have had nothing but major breakouts! Beware!

Pros:

no pregnancy

Cons:

HELP! I got acne... I don't get it, just out of nowhere! first I just had a few spots, but now it seems to get worser! I wanna cry!
and I've got blood for a few days now.

I'm on the end of the first month of yasmin and I don't know what to think about it. I don't like what I'm reading here. really don't know what to do.

Pros:

no babies, no wieght gain

Cons:

horrible mood swings, bad skin, depression, nausea, headaches, swollen breasts, skipped periods

This pill turned me into a monster, an absolute monster. I would have horrible mood swings which would leave me either crying hysterically or screaming at my boyfriend. Hopefully I can begin to go back to normal now that I have stopped taking this pill. It does its job though as I am baby free.

Pros:

Good as birth control
lighter periods
no cramps
no crazy mood swings

Cons:

weight gain
water retention
bloating
tiredness
constipation
break outs

This pill is good as birth control. I've been taking it on and off about 6 months every time, but I feel I can't take it longer than that. I have lighter periods and get almost no cramps. The good thing is no mood swings, except the day before my period when I feel I hate everything around me...but it goes away the next day. Although I like the fact that it doesn't cause any mood swings, it does increase my appetite and I gain about 6-10 pounds. When I stop it the weight goes away. I also feel bloated and heavy all the time and often constipated. Tiredness - I have to nap at least 2 times a day, which is not great for me because I have a busy schedule, but I just can't stay awake past 10:00 pm on this pill. It does cause me to retain more water and my legs were really blown up. I was breaking out around my cheeks and jaw line, but it does go away as does the initial nauseous feeling. Overall, I like the lack of mood swings, but will be switching to something else as the tiredness and bloating really do bother me.
