Pros:

cleared up acne nearly

Cons:

depresion, weight gain, cramps,no improvment on facial hair, loss of libido,

i have been taking dianette for about 5 months now and i am really thinking of coming off them ,they make me feel really low,i dont feel like sex i get cramp and i still havent seen an improvment in my facial hair. is all this really worth it just to see a little improvment on my spots ? my poor hubby probably doesnt think so. he just thinks i dont fancy him any more.so i think its back to doctors ive had enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!oh and i also grew a whole cup size and put on half a stone.

Pros:

Bigger boobs, improved skin

Cons:

Takes ages to work

I've never had amazing skin, but at the age of 23 I developed full blown acne out of the blue. I tried several courses of antibitoics and creams such as benzyl peroxide but nothing worked. After much convincing, I managed to get my Doctor to put me on Diannete, even though I'm classified as obsese. I was so depressed about my skin I decided to accept the risks and go for it anyway. It's been three months now and I've noticed some change, although I'd still my acne is still quite bad. I've noticed that my skin goes through spells of being really clear and then really bad. I'm not sure if anyone else found this? Anyway, I'm going to stick with it as I don't want to go on Roacutane and hope that in time my skin improves. Fingers crossed!

Pros:

Bigger boobs (yay), contraceptive, small tablet, reduces acne (may clear up but it hasn't been long enough)

Cons:

headache and loss of apatite for the first few days, stomach ache, have to get prescription

Ive only used dianette for about 9 days and it has already reduced my acne but not completely. I'll update if I see any changed in my skin and see if it's improved later on :D ( fingers crossed). The reviews are varied so I think it just depends on everyone individually! Im 17 and only in the last 4 months ive had acne on the sides of my neck and jawline what's really annoying. I as wondering if anyone knows if it's ok to carry on taking the next pack of pills after finishing the first so I miss a period (as im on holiday for a week)? Xxx

Pros:

- Free (I don't pay for prescription) & bigger boobs
- Noticable results within 2 months
- Also helps anemia by having lighter periods

Cons:

- MAY have gained a little weight but I go to the gym, so just go to the gym and you won't
- Periods are actually slightly messed up which is weird considering the pill is supposed to regulate them

I know dianette has a lot of bad reviews so I was scared to try it, but this is the now the 3rd contraceptive pill I have been on and I had bad side effects with the first two - but none with dianette. My skin looks so much better after two months, people are even commenting on how much better it is. I've combined it with monthly glycolic peels and the result has been amazing. My skin is no longer oily, even at the end of the day. I still have a few spots but they are small and and easy to deal with, no psychological impact of acne anymore...My skin even looks clear with make up and the way it's going in a month or two I won't even need it. I will worry about coming off this pill when the time comes - definatly recommend trying!

Cons:

DO NOT TAKE IT im Pissed off!! i went from being skinny to a fat cow in like a month, and im trying so hard to get rid of the excess baggage but it wont budge head aches, body chills, bone aches, dryness, loss of sex drive, WEIGHT GAIN and the fact that its talking my LIGHT acne to clear up for 5 months Now i want to get off, but i know what once i do my LIGHT acne will become more than light

Pros:

My acne is healing

Cons:

I have a bloated belly, not sure if it is caused by dianette.

Dianette seems to be improving my skin and I have only been taking it for less than a month. I am doing more excersise and watching my diet so hopefully I won ´t gain weight.

Pros:

No baby!! No spots - most were cleared in the first month
Bigger Boobs - im now on Double D's
Regulated Periods -

Cons:

For all those who say it makes you fatter - stop eating
I haven't experienced mood swings like some say
but i havennt come off it yet and don't want to anytime soon.

It does it's job stops u from getting pregnant, reduces spots and may increase ur boob size. It doesn't make you put on weight, just eat less and exercise as usuall. WORTH IT

Cons:

Been taking for 3 days and have had constant nausea, headache, irritability, excessive tiredness and depression

Am going to try taking it at night to see if I feel any better during the day, if not will be changing! Apparently Yasmin is good for skin too.

Pros:

My skin was completely clear the first time i used it. It still has some effect.

Cons:

After 10 years of stopping and starting dianette, it is beginning to lose it's effect. I became very depressed when i started taking it aged 16 and have been heavy ever since.

It does work, but at 25 i'm now wishing i'd gone for the more permanent treatments available. I don't think my skin will ever get better and worry about coming off it again to have kids.
