Pros:

not pregnant yet! gone up a cup size.. the pills taste nice. hair is less greasy, face is less greasy.

Cons:

still getting pretty bad spots but my friend said it took 6 months for it to clear up her acne and i've only been taking dianette for 4 months. quite dramatic mood swings!

it has only had positive effects so far aside from the mood swings which i can learn to control. I will just wait to see if it clears up my spots!

Pros:

Skin is only ok after 10 years of use. Course of microdermabrasion massive help. After reading lots of forums i am wondering can i attribute sudden weight gain, loss of motivation and lethargy that iv been experiencing lately to diamette?

Cons:

It apparently causes liver damage and spots apparently get worse when u come off it which i am about to find out if as i am just coming off it to see how it goes.

Its freaking me out the thought of coming off it. Will I get spotty greasy and hairy? Will I ultimately lose the extra weight and will my emotions settle down or am i looking for something to blame for personal issues.

Pros:

Cleared up skin in about 3 months & less greasy hair and skin

Cons:

Extreme Moodiness, Depression, Horrible loss of sex drive, infertility, screws up your hormonal balance

I took Dianette because I was very vain and couldn't stand getting a couple pimples a month. I'm paying for it so bad right now! I got off of it after taking it for a year. It's been almost 8 months and my face is still breaking out like crazy - even in places that I never used to break out in. I am like a walking acne woman and it's destroying my self-confidence. I really wish I had never taken this stupid pill because it ruined my hormonal balance and screwed up my skin. I could be an idiot and go back on it to clear up my skin, but that's the stupidest thing anyone could do. PLEASE DON'T TAKE DIANETTE!!!! DON'T RUIN YOUR SKIN BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IT WILL DO ONCE YOU COME OFF OF IT!!!! I wouldn't recommend this pill to my enemy. The ones who rave about this pill are the ones on it, but why not check out the people who have come off of it and then you'll hear a whole another version.

Pros:

cleared all my spots after about 2 months

Cons:

when i came off, spots came back, same as before!

i was on dianette for about 7 months for my skin and it cleared it up fully within about 2 months, i was delighted! i had no other side effects, no weight gain, moods, cramps etc! when i stopped taking it because i was going travelling for 6 months my skin got bad again, well the same as it was before, not much worse but im really depressed about it, if you have spots you know it puts you in a bad mood all day! so i decided i would go back on it until people started telling me about the fertility aspect and acne coming back way worse. my periods are really irregular, 2 yrs ago i didnt get a period for 9 months, then a yr ago i didnt get one for 6 months until i started the pill again and this yr since i came off ive had 3 normal periods and they have stopped again. im considering going back on just because it the easy way to get rid of spots for the time being but now after reading all the horror stories im not sure. maybe it makes you periods irregular and gives you more spots?

Pros:

my skin is defintly alot clearer ! I do have the odd spot but this is nothing compared to what my skin was like before !
I really aprove of the tablet for young teens like myself ! I find myself not using as much make up due to lift of confidence

Cons:

I have no cons about the pill . my breasts have go a little bigger but I am still a young teenager and am putting it down to normal growth.

this is a really good pill . My periods have got alot lighter and cramps have lessened . I recommend this to any age but I really recommend it to teens like me who were always hiding behind foundation and powder . I have herd of weight gain with this pill but I personaly think this is down to lifestyle as I would play an hour of sport on tuesday and attend an hour of dance lessons on wednesday.I have lost weight since I have started this pill so I don't believe weight gain is anything to worry about .

Pros:

Worked like a miracle on my skin. Stopped greasy hair and skin totally

Cons:

Having to fight doctors to stay on it long term

I never had any problems with Dianette. My skin was totally normal but every doctor I see says something different about it. Most are unhappy for me to stay on it long term so keep trying me on other pills which are meant to be good for acne. None have worked. Mr Dr is now getting me to alternate between Dianette and Marvelon every 3 months!!!! Will give it a try but it sounds a bit crazy!

Pros:

To be honest my skin wasn't that bad anyway. If I avoid saturated fat it seems to prevent spots

Cons:

Vomiting a lot!! Nausea. Lots of bloating, feel huge and disgusting. Boobs the size of france which hurt like hell!

I don't think my skin was bad enough to go on this. I basically said "I am prone to acne" to my doctor and was given this one. I am heading back next week to see if I can get something which doesn't leave me looking like Dolly Parton! Note: I tried taking it at 9 to lessen the nausea but found I was vomiting at 3-4am instead. Nice!

Pros:

I have always had acne issues - when I hit 30 and still was breaking out, I finally went to the skin doctor. I didn't see any changes into my skin until about 3 months into Dianette - but it did work great as my skin is better than it ever has been.

Cons:

I have gained weight even though I am eating right and exercising. I am worried about the things I have been reading about increase chance of breast cancer and am not a fan of the lower sex drive.

My fiance and I want to conceive in about a year and I really want to have my system clean and be the most healthiest I can be. So, I am coming off Dianette after 6 months of using. I am totally fearful of the side effects of coming off, including the reoccurance of my spots.

Pros:

don't know yet, hoping it will stop my period pains and make my boobs bigger

Cons:

migraines every now and again

my doctor put me on dianette because yasmin had made me break out in spots. i've only been on it for a week now and have experienced some headaches. also i get small pains in my chest sometimes. i'm hoping it will improve though and that it will stop period pains and not make me gain weight.
