Pros:

Cheap

Cons:

Dries out skin, takes forever to dry, makes face oily and greasy, does nothing at all for acne, makes face itch, makes face sting, smells horrid

Useless. After two weeks, cleared up skin then face broke out really bad in areas I've never broken out before. It dried out my face to the point that mousterizer doesn't work. It cleared up nothing. It stings, it itches. My face is hella greasy by the end of the day with this stuff. It takes forever to dry.

Pros:

Worked for 2 months.

Cons:

Developed antibiotic resistance and had painful out breaks

It worked for me for almost two months, and significant improvements were made by the med. However, until three weeks ago, the med stopped working, my acne came back and they are more painful and red then ever before. Now I am so embarrassed that everyone at my workplace is telling me to clean up my face :(.

Pros:

I have used it for probably about 2 months now. Worked very well initially for getting rid of whiteheads and messy spots, cleared my skin up quite well in the beginning.

Cons:

It is no longer working as well and my skin is again, not as clear still barely any whiteheads but my face is full of redness and red lumps/'blotches'

Not working very well for me anymore, going to see my doctor for his verdict.

Pros:

It was covered by my insurance....

Cons:

Severe dryness and horrible burning

The reason I stopped using the product Benzamycin was because of the severe dryness it caused in my skin. My face would literally be white with dry skin flakes. Obviously that was embarassing so after puting up with it for a month I decided it wasn't worth it. Also, as I applied it, the burning sensation it caused was almost unbearable. Yeah, not a good product.

Pros:

It works for the smaller pimples, for a while you become VERY reliant on it. Its free if your'e in the UK (Good ol' NHS)

Cons:

It doesnt get rid of acne completely, the bacteria in your skin gets resistent to it eventually.

It worked for a year and at first i wasnt so dependant on it but after about a year and a half, if it ran out, within 3 dys i would have massive outbreaks so i ALWAYS had to have enough and stock up before it ran out. However the bacteria in skin are clever and adapt to it and become resistent so it doesnt work after about 2 years. It was nice at first and the dosage is not insanely high to the point where you have to base your life around it which is nice, but all good things come to an end.
