Pros:

I had mild to server acne. Now my face is PERFECT. I have spent a lot of money at the dermo and on products and never got the results that I have gotten from On-the-Spot. It did infact take about two months to have the perfect face that I now have....but compared to having lived with acne for over 18 years...it is worth the wait.

Cons:

NONE

GET ON-THE-SPOT. Just give it some time to work and you too will have PERFECT ACNE-FREE face!!!!

Pros:

+Clears up acne .
+Skin will stay clear if you use Dan's regimen religiously and properly.

Cons:

-dries out skin, making it feel really tight
-extremely sensitive around the eyes
-will cause redness the first week or two
-BP is a bit tricky to apply if you have facial hair since it sticks to the hair.

Before I started using this, there wasn't one day in my life where I didn't have at least one noticeable pimple on my face. I tried everything over-the-counter and everything my dermatologist prescribed to me didn't work. When I started using this, my skin actually got a little bit worse for awhile, but after about a month it started to clear up my skin! You just have to give your skin time to adjust to it. If you were just like me and nothing has worked for you, it doesn't hurt to try it,

Pros:

Cheap, worked better than Differin, and many oral prescriptions I was taking.

Cons:

Don't use too often, obviously it will be too drying.

AWESOME. After many expensive prescriptions, oral and topical, I was very frustrated. I switched to this cream, and a generic birth control, which in combo, made my acne all but disappear. Though many other topical gels/creams worked ok/fine, this one is by far the best, and also made my skin tone more even.

Pros:

-Clears acne FAST
-Gets rid of whiteheads really well - I will NEVER have to pop a whitehead again. I just slather this on the whitehead the night before and in the morning, voila! gone
-Makes my skin smooth!

Cons:

-Dries skin A LOT [nothing a good moisturizer wouldn't fix]
-Expensive little bottle [I recommend getting the Acne.org bottle]

GET THIS GET THIS GET THIS! I noticed results the very first night. My whole right cheek, which had A LOT of pimples, has cleared, with only acne scars remaining and it's only been three days! USE A MOISTURIZER. I cannot stress this enough. Your skin will flake like crazy and it might seem hopeless, but DO NOT GIVE UP. Also, APPLY A LOT, but ONLY on the acne itself. I think the reason why this product doesn't work for a lot of people is because they slather it across their face. Don't do that!

Pros:

it's easy to find, benzoyl peroxide (woot woot!), fast results!

Cons:

it's pricey, tightens skin, itchiness occurs

i bought this a few days ago because i had tried it at a friends a while back, and it works wonders! redness and the protruding of acne will subside overnight, but it causes skin to become EXTREMELY DRY! use tons of moisturizer and follow the regimen. i would recommend it, just wish it came in a bigger tube...0.75 oz for $10 is quite a lot.

Pros:

Definately dries your skin so best to use small quantity initially then work your way up. I use dove (non fragnance) soap and found that it helps aliviate the drying effect. This is by far the best product&ive used tons of them!

Cons:

its small for its price but still worth every penny as its so effective.

This (like any other product) wont work for everyone. However this product is definalty worth a shot esp if you have oily skin. I have very oily skin and it certainly helps curb that too. Besides using this cream my breakthough moment came 3 mnths ago when i eliminated MILK from my diet, and went from 10 plus new zits a week to 1 or 2 max a week! I strongly beleive diet affects acne so definately watch what you eat.My conclusion is that a holistic approach is needed when fighting acne, watch what u eat, excercise and drink loads of water

Pros:

-Diminished whiteheads and blackheads

Cons:

-Left white residue
- dried out my skin
-Darkened my skin tone
-Left dark marks on my skin

When i first started to use this product it was working and it didn't exacly leave me with clear skin, it just made my whiteheads and blackheads smaller. After two weeks my skin started to get dark marks especially my forehead and my skin would peel of and be dry even though i put a moisterizer on it everyday. Then my skin became increasingly dark. It was during the winter and there was barely any sun out so that wasn't it. After a while i stoped using it and exfoliated my skin and my skin is now getting back to normal and my blemishes are leaving. This may work for you even though it didn't do much for me because everyone is different. My advice is to keep an open mind and keep trying until you find the right product for you.

Pros:

BP so perhaps it was working

Cons:

Horrific stinging

Well I started the regimen 2 weeks ago and the on-the-spot was just getting more and more painful every single night. So my [link removed] bp came in the mail yesterday, and when I used it last night I was SHOCKED - the pain was completely gone (had I burned my nerve endings? ;)) Anyway, I think there must be some extra ingredients in the neutrogena that are just too strong for burnt skin.

Pros:

2.5% BP, less irritating on skin, will help clear up acne, easy to find

Cons:

Leaves white residue after it drys, doesn't apply very easily, expensive, makes skin super tight feeling

When first starting Dan's regimen, I began by using this BP while I waited for Dan's to arrive. I've used it in the past as a spot treatment as the product suggests. It did help clear up existing pimples, but I think it is more effective when used as a preventative measure. I prefer Dan's BP. It applies so much easier and doesn't dry too quickly, which means you can spread it around easier. Neutrogena's BP is super expensive considering you only get a small tube. But, if you are unable to order Dan's, it will work.

Pros:

Worked faster than expected. Smoothed skin surface in just one day. Did not dry out the healthy skin around the pimple.

Cons:

Burned a little upon application to irritated/broken skin, but was only temporary.

This product works. There was slight discomfort when I applied it, but based on the condition of the eruption I was treating, I fully expect that anything I would have put in contact with it would have burned a little. I like that it's clear, dries clear and literally removes all oil in the vicinity of where it was applied. So very important to reducing the size of the pimple, which it does... almost immediately.
