Pros:

SLOUGHS OFF DEAD SKIN!! Gives you a fresh, clean face.

Cons:

Dries out your face a little. I personally found that when I used the new Grapefruit scented wash that I broke out REALLY badly. I may have just had an allergy to the grapefruit extract. I went back to the original and my face is clearing up.

I personally love the fragrance of the original. It gets all that dull, dry, flakey skin right off. You definitely have to use a good moisturizer. Since I am using Benzaclin at night I use Cetaphil cream at night and then in the morning I use Cetaphil regular face lotion. I absolutely love this product. I tried to use Purpose Face Wash, but it really didn't give me a clean feeling. It would have been gentler, but I'm OK with using extra moisturizer in order to continue to use the Oil Free Acne Wash. LOVE IT!!!

Pros:

Helps clear skin and keep it clean - not a magic bullet, but for shelf items, this seems to be the best for me

Cons:

It CAN be drying. I have normal to dry-prone skin, and if you use this in conjunction with other acne medications, you may experience dryness. (Aloe vera gel is a great moisturizer straight)

I've used this product before with great results (when I had normal skin - occasionally getting some blemishes). It nipped those blemishes. For some reason, still unknown to me, my skin flared up and I didn't use this product until now. My skin is slowly turning around. So, for me, this product is definitely worth it! Just fair warning and be SMART with moisturizing delicate areas of the face (around your eyes and mouth).

Pros:

It felt good on my face and my face looked fresh afterwords and it helped get rid of my acne

Cons:

leaves skin dry afterword

Pros:

This product works soo fast and it cleans my skin in 3 days and it also helps prevent acne to get worsening.

Cons:

It dries out your skin but when using a moisturiser it is ok.

I tried proactiv and i used it before going to bed and i woke up and i had acne. I thought it first would clean out and then clean the acne but it didnt and it got even worse! I stopped using proactiv and i had bought this the oil-free wash long time ago. I started using it again, morning and night, and within the 3 days, all the acne proactiv gave were GONE. Neutrogena is a really good product for me and i LOVE IT! I dont care if it is too expensive because it really works and i have been given advice to people close to me, not ot use proactiv because it doesn't work but to use Neutrogena.

Pros:

it helped me alot with acne ^_^

dries out skin sometimes

I've been using this brand since I was 15? and Now im 17 turning 18 ^_^and it was the reason why i don't get pimples anymore..like i use to have ALOT of pimples now its all gone ^_^

Pros:

Really dries out my super oily skin.

Cons:

Could be drying for sensitive skin.

I've had acne for 12 years, neutrogena has the best line of products I have found. I also use the rapid clear and moisturizer with salicylic acid. This works well for non-infected breakouts. To keep those big inflamed and infected blemishes at bay I highly recommend an antibiotic (I take minocylcline). There is no miracle cure, but if you stick with it you will find something that works. To really see if a product really works for you, you need to use it for more than 2 days (unless you have a really bad reaction.

Pros:

It helps clear skin fast, It leaves my skin feeling fresh, It smells really good, It stops you from getting anymore zits

Cons:

It takes a couple days to take effect, so don't rate it bad until youve used it for a little while.

Best I've used so far, but I'll probably get 1 or 2 products to go with it, Don't listen to the bad ratings. Buy it. And I have sensitive skin, but it doesn't dry my skin, it almost feels like its moisterizing it.

It cleared all my acne away! But the thing is, I have dry skin now. So I use the neutrogena moisterizer

Pros:

Very Gentle yet effective, just as the advertisements say

Cons:

None

This cleanser works extremely well. I've been using this for about 3 weeks and the results are better than anything i've ever used. I hope that my skin continues to improve. On my skin, its very gentle, and does its job.

Pros:

it gets rid of the oil and the redness

Cons:

it does dry out your skin............but

use the right moisturizer like euciderm for face with spf 15 and it works wonderfully
