Pros:

Does it's job very well, cleans skin without over-drying. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. When used with Benzoyl Peroxide, it completely takes care of my acne. It treats existing acne and prevents future breakouts.

Cons:

the smell isn't the best.

Must be used with a Benzoyl Peroxide treatment to be 100% effective.

Pros:

Keeps mild and moderate acne under control. Affordable. Not over drying. Easy to find at drug stores.

Cons:

Can be somewhat drying if you rub it in for too long. Makes skin oilier during the day. Not the best long-term solution...

I have used this face wash for years. Every time I try something new, I regret it and come right back to this wash. I have mild-moderate acne - some black heads, flare ups of pustules and papules - and this wash totally zaps them away. My skin responds best to Salicylic acid, so this wash is perfect. If you have acne, I think this is one of the better OTC products.

Pros:

It's really good. Some people seem to disagree, but I think it works well, especially for people with large skin pores.

Cons:

It does leave your skin feeling a bit dry, but it's not that big of a deal, surely you've got some face lotion...

I love it. It's better than other products I've used (and trust me, I've used A LOT).

Pros:

This is a great product. It is a mild cleanser that is not meant to be used for those with moderately severe to severe acne. I have used for over 10 years and constantly get compliments on my skin.

Cons:

It may not be strong enough for some, if you need something stronger, use a product with benzoyl peroxide.

This is a great product. To keep in line with good skin car 101, make sure to keep moisturized. Preferably, use with and oil-free moisturezer that won't clog pores. I would recommend this to anyone!!

Pros:

Clears skin fairly quickly and leaves skin with deep clean feeling.
Good price for treatment of mild acne.

Cons:

Dries skin out if you don't moisturize properly.

All in all a good product just don't forget to moisturize!

Pros:

SLOUGHS OFF DEAD SKIN!! Gives you a fresh, clean face.

Cons:

Dries out your face a little. I personally found that when I used the new Grapefruit scented wash that I broke out REALLY badly. I may have just had an allergy to the grapefruit extract. I went back to the original and my face is clearing up.

I personally love the fragrance of the original. It gets all that dull, dry, flakey skin right off. You definitely have to use a good moisturizer. Since I am using Benzaclin at night I use Cetaphil cream at night and then in the morning I use Cetaphil regular face lotion. I absolutely love this product. I tried to use Purpose Face Wash, but it really didn't give me a clean feeling. It would have been gentler, but I'm OK with using extra moisturizer in order to continue to use the Oil Free Acne Wash. LOVE IT!!!

Pros:

Helps clear skin and keep it clean - not a magic bullet, but for shelf items, this seems to be the best for me

Cons:

It CAN be drying. I have normal to dry-prone skin, and if you use this in conjunction with other acne medications, you may experience dryness. (Aloe vera gel is a great moisturizer straight)

I've used this product before with great results (when I had normal skin - occasionally getting some blemishes). It nipped those blemishes. For some reason, still unknown to me, my skin flared up and I didn't use this product until now. My skin is slowly turning around. So, for me, this product is definitely worth it! Just fair warning and be SMART with moisturizing delicate areas of the face (around your eyes and mouth).

Pros:

I'm 16 & I have few brakouts. I've only used this product for about two weeks & it absolutly cleared up my blemishes. It also leaves my face feeling really clean & it's refreshing. Everytime I use it I notice more & more how it makes my skin glow.

Cons:

It does tend to make my face fell tight at times and somewhat dried out but a little bit of moisturizer should do the trick.

If you are suffering from breakouts, I would deffinatly reccomend using this product.
