Pros:

Really cleans out the oil in your skin.
A little drying for oily skin.

Cons:

Can be too drying for dry skin.

I wash my face with this at night. I like the fact that it is a little drying because right after I use this I put on a retinoid, Ziana, which made my face feel slimey, but it seems to absorb better if I use this product first. Only the luckiest of people are going to be able to clear their acne with a simple face wash, but if you have oily skin and you're using a system where your next product is a little slick or seems to have trouble absorbing into your skin, then this would be the definite way to go.

Pros:

Cleanses skin and opens pores

Cons:

May be too drying

Use twice a day, but not in large amounts. Gently follow up with a moisturizer after. Works great for clogged or oily skin.

Pros:

It has Salicylic acid that unclogs your pores and exfoliates your skin. It clears acne and redness. Your skin looks so smooth after you use it!

Cons:

None

This is the only cleanser that truly made a difference for me.

Pros:

- Smells alright
- Is light weight
- not expensive

Cons:

- Didnt work
- Made my skin VERY dry
- only got rid of a few zits
- made a little more breakouts then wanted

I wouldnt recommend this at all. It made my skin very dry and did not get rid of my zits. only a few. I do have moderate skin so maybe it you hade light skin type it might work but the bottom line I would not recommend this if you have moderate or above skin types.

Pros:

started clearing my skin after the first day and it feels really good on the skin

Cons:

dries out the skin a little

I have had acne for some years and could never really find a product that would kill the acne and save my skin. This product has really come through for me. The first day I tried it, I had a really bad break out. And for it to start clearing my skin the first time, it really felt good. But always moisturize afterward!!!

Pros:

Made my face feel clean

Cons:

Isn't effective
Broke me out worse than any other cleanser I've used
Runny

I've used both the original and the Redness Reducing version (the one in the green bottle) The original held no merit for me. It didn't clear my skin and I didn't enjoy using it at all. I didn't like the smell or the consistency of it, so I stopped using it after about a week. (This was a few years back, mind you) About a month and a half ago I was looking for a new cleanser (I had stopped trying to take care of my acne for years, and had just started up again) and I decided to pick up the Redness Reducing version of this cleanser, since I have fair skin with redness on my cheeks and chin. I loved the smell, the consistency wasn't too bad for me this time, and I liked how clean my face felt afterward. I happily used it for about a week until I noticed that my skin was getting /worse/. I shrugged it off, thinking that this is just how most cleansers work. Your skin has to get used to it first. Another week went by and my face was slowly getting worse and worse. I unhappily thew it away, sad that I couldn't use it any longer.

Pros:

affordable
smells clean
good for oily skin

Cons:

a lot of dryness

my skin used to be oily and this product worked well for me in the beginning, even clearing a lot of my acne but when i was on my second bottle, my skin became very dry suddenly and i started breaking out a lot. i got a mosturizer and that helped a lot but whenever i washed my face, the dryness would be worse than last time to the point where my skin would have flakes on it and it would hurt to smile because my skin was so dry. i have stopped using this product now even though i have a lot left. i might go back to it cuz it worked in the beginning but this product made my skin change from oily to combination dry. i do not recommend for people with dry skin.
