Worth Trying!

Pros:

great when used with Clarisonic
brought the best skin to the fore

Cons:

could not fix my deep cysts

I think Obagi can definitely help a lot of people - look at these reviews. It's good for sun damage and scarred skin. It did help me at times and I will go back to it. I think it can even help some people with cystic acne. It wouldn't hold a candle to my deep cysts, though, as nothing topical will. That said, the cleanser combined with the toner is still good, potent stuff. Used with my Clarisonic, it kept the clear areas of my face looking good, and weirdly, I think it made the bad spots look as good as they could. I imagine that with consistent use this will yield the best results if I'm ever out of the woods with these deep cysts. Bottom line: just try it.

Pros:

Removes huge blemishes. You will see results in 2 months. Trust me. Wear no makeup girls. If you want to see results don't wear makeup while in this process, also follow intrucions! I love this stuff. (: IT REMOVED ALL MY ACNE. I had acne for 2 years and it removed.

Cons:

It peels. But the peeling means that its killing all the bad skin cells. Number 3 might burn on the first days. BUT EVERYTHIGN ELSE IS PERFECT!

Try to drink waterrr. No makeup. Wash your face 2 times a day only.

Pros:

use Obagi clear , basic , 1 percent retin a , cleanser and toner. you must use products religiously and get through the burning and peeling , first three months or so depending on persons skin type. I used evenings only , did not apply during the day.

Cons:

see above....There will always be some peeling which I control with a damp washcloth , I try to avoid moisturizers as they are counter productive to the treatment

once your skin gets accustomed to the product , just keep on using it, dont stop , this product is THE FINEST IN THE WORLD for controlling acne , tightening, controlling melasma, and smoothing the skin. Changes the molecular structure of the skin for the better , but it is a difficult product to use for the first three months but once you get past the breakin period your on yur way to terrific skin .

Pros:

Obagi Clenziderm
- acne disappeared COMPLETELY, no more breakouts
- fresh clean feeling

Cons:

- if you use the benzyl peroxide twice a day then your skin dries out so I just use it once at night time and a non-greasy moisturizer during the day
- cost
- still have red spots

This is the BEST product i have ever tried it has changed my life completely!!!!! I had such severe acne this completely cleared it no longer do I get huge cysts on my face. I spent so much money before on products such as proactive, drug store brands, clinque acne solutions, and other brands I purchased off the interenet, this was by far the best. I was at my breaking point I did not know what to do I went to the dermatologist I got a few creams did nothing, I did not want to go on accutane due to the sideeffects, people mentioned birth control I did not want to go on it, my skin made me so upset I had so many emotional issues because of my acne. Then an esthetician I knew recommended this product I am so happy she recommended it to me I LOVE IT, the red marks are still there but they will fade over time it is way better than having bumpy skin and getting gigantic cysts all the time. Bottom line product is pricey but definitely worth every penny.

Pros:

I've been using it for over 14 months & it STILL WORKS! Since you're not going to able to finish all the products at the same time, you can buy them per piece online. Lots of sales everytime. What else can you invest on anyway but your FACE!

Cons:

A little expensive than your over the counter drugstore products. Also need to stay away from the sun. So this is not for those "outdoorsy/beach" people who likes baking under the sun!

I'm a healthy Asian male in my 30s who's suffered from cystic acne since my teens. Up until last year, nothing worked for that stubborn curse! Tried PROACTIVE, MURAD, NEUTROGENA & a handful of other acne products & oral atibiotics for over a decade! After a couple of months, it either came back or it became WORSE! Double/triple headed cystic acne & lotsa blackheads. I remember waking up & just as 1 zit is drying up, a new 1 comes out almost everyday. I was hopeless! Thank God I came across this product thru my esthetician & i've been acne free for over 14 months now. It may not be the product for everyone, but it sure worked for me. All of my close friends & family have noticed a huge difference & i have not gotten anything but complements. You will have the usual purging period, redness & flaking as new skin is trying to resurface. But as long as you stick to the program for a good 180 days(6 mos), you'll see the big difference! Be patient, but more imporantl - START NOW!!!

Pros:

reduced acne, lightened scars through peeling

Cons:

first 2 weeks you will peel and feel dry due to the 3rd step. the 3rd step seems to be very effective, the problem is that I have the oily acne kit, but the 3rd step seems to make me really oily.

I paid $75. If you live in Orange County, go to the Asian Garden Mall, they sell is there cheap compared to spas, etc. And it's still the real thing, not knock offs. haha. But yeah, you need some patience with this. Give it a month and half. The first week, I saw a lot of peeling, which was good 'cause my scars were fading. Though it did not make them go away completely, it did lighten them. As far as consistency with reducing acne. It was kind all over the place. Sometimes I felt like it did its job, but at times, I felt like it wasn't doing much. But I am on my 5th week of using this, and am really happy. I took some before and after pics and I do notice that I don't have much acne anymore. I feel that this is one of the best products I've used. And I've tried everything from Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Dr. Peter Thomas Roth, Proactiv, Murad, Exposed (complete bull sh!t), Juice Beauty, Dr. Perricone, and can't think of anymore. Get it, you won't regret it

Pros:

This product has given me the best results out of EVERYTHING I have tried (OTC products, prescriptions, antibiotics, etc). I still have acne but this has helped a lot especially with deep scars, it will smooth them right out and no more crater face.

Cons:

I used Obagi NuDerm 6 step system with tretinoin cream of .1%. With this product you will have redness, will need sunblock, and sensitivity to the sun. It is important to stay out of the sun while using this product as it will cause easy irritation.

The system contains other products that lighten the skin which help with lightening scars. I noticed the crater scars I had on my face completely smoothed out, and I am working on getting rid of my purple/brown/red spotting which takes time as I have been using this for almost over a year, which are now a light pink color. The smell of #5 is nasty but it's the corrector cream that does wonders over night espcially when used with the tretinoin cream. The tretinoin .1% cream is very strong. Use it very lightly because if you use a lot overnight your skin will literally flake off. I would know since I used a bunch one night to get rid of a new pimple. However, the tret cream will dry up your pimple so quick. A LOT quicker than Benzoyl Peroxide or Salicylic Acid. With other products, including prescriptions, it would take a couple weeks for my pimple to go away. With this it went away within a couple of days. So be gentle if you do choose to use Tret cream. The lowest is .04% I think.

Pros:

It actually works! I have been using it for about 2 weeks and I am almost flawless! :))

My cousins have been using it long-term, and nothing horrible has happened to them.

I had pretty severe blackheads on my forhead and chin and they're clear!

Cons:

It sort of burns until your skin gets use to the product!

It's so worth it!! I would recommend it!! :)) And I'm sorry if it doesn't work with you, just smile and try something new!

Pros:

-smooth skin
-nice fragrance
-clears some types of acne

Cons:

-expensive
-very drying the first few weeks
-doesn't exfoliate

I decided to try after proactiv wasn't clearning my face to the extent I wanted. At first, you will notice your face is extremely dry after washing your face. This should only last a few weeks and then your skin will get used to it. A few weeks after using it, my face became extremely oily during the day during the purging phase but returned to normal a week after. It began to clear up the acne on my forehead but gave me cystic acne on my cheeks where I never had them before while on proactiv. I'm thinking about using this on the top of my face and proactiv on the bottom half. I seem to need a more exfoliating cleanser for my cheeks. This product contains harsh chemicals so I wouldn't recommend it for longterm. I started using MANUKA HONEY 12+ on my face and it is now clearing up and my scars are almost completely gone after 3 days.
