Pros:

Smells good, cleans thoroughly, and works!

Cons:

It is a steep price, and is hard to get in my area (always sold out).

I am a teenager with mild acne, mainly black heads and white heads, and I finally found something that works. It is a bit harsh, but it works for my skin. I haven't had any peeling from this or bleeding, as others have described. This can also be due to the fact that I use the face wash with the Clarisonic brush. It helps the medication get into my pores and not just the layer of skin, which I think is many peoples problem. I am glad my parents were willing to buy something that was pricey but works. I also get microdermabrasions, and my skin has improved so much. Try this product if nothing else has worked and if you are willing to put in the time and patience. Make sure to drink plenty of water and eat healthy also, it will help your skin.

Pros:

Easy to use

Cons:

expensive, takes a few weeks to get used to

I used the CLENZIDERM product for normal/oily skin was recommended by my regular dermatologist! My acne was moderately bad. Mostly prone to cystic bumps and whiteheads. I was religious w/ using the 3-step program. You really have to be patient to see if it will work for you. Personally, it worked great for me, it stopped the breakouts, but I still had random spots here and there and still with the blemishes. The products are very expensive...so that has been the major problem. I decided to tweak a few things and changed my diet completely. I now only use Cetaphil, step 2 & step 3, as I still have some left over and am eating much healthier. I realized you can't keep eating processed nasty food and expect to have your face clear as well. There are some lucky people out there that can handle eating the nasty fried/greasy food and still have clear skin, but many of us are not fortunate enough to have that. EAT HEALTHY! And keep up w/ your skin regimen and you'll see a huge diff

Cons:

lots of peeling in the begining, sensitive to sun

I have acne from late teen to 33. Obagi system is next best thing after acutaine. I use obagi clenziderm in the morning and obagi clear and tretion at night. I purchased the discount online store, [link removed] and only cost me $90 per clenziderm set at the first time and $70 afer I join free memebership. I love the result.

Pros:

Lightes skin, gets rid of blemishes and acne, no more need for makeup

Cons:

Lots of peeling and redness in the beginning, expensive

Obagi Nuderm: This product should be used as a last resort because a) it's expensive and b) it takes a while. I recommend this for people who have "tried everything." If you have mild acne and blemishes, try something you can find at CVS like Neutragena. For people who complain that it makes your skin red and peely, that's exactly what it states on the box before you use it. That's to be expected for it to work. It makes your skin peel then lightens your skin underneath and smooths it out.

Pros:

Within the first week my skin felt so smooth. It really reduced the hard bumps. Within two weeks I noticed a really big difference. If I did get a bump here or there is faded FAST. I am 5 months pregnant and my doctor totally approved this product. Acne has been a problem through-out my pregnancy so far.

Cons:

I am on week three, and I am starting to break out again...so we shall see, but I am going to stick to it. It has not helped with my black heads at all. If I use a lot of step 3 (normal to oily skin line) I look like my face is on fire. It burns and leaves me very red.

So far, even with the redness and burning..it has helped more than hurt. My doctor approved it for pregnancy..just keeping fingers crossed it continues to help.

Pros:

STOPS stubborn cystic acne! Moisturizes your skin; Repairs the damaged layer; Peels away deadskin cells; Evens out discoloration & gives you a new life! Just follow the easy day & nightly routine & watch it develop awesome skin! Great for ASIAN skin!

Cons:

Minor peeling and redness...Like all products, it may or may not work for everyone! But after suffering from acne for over 15 years, what else was I gonna lose?! Just try it & let the product speak for itself!

Like everyone else suffering from acne(especially adult cystic acne) at 32 I thought that I would just have to live with bad skin for life. Since my teens I have tried over the counter medication, PROACTIVE, MURAD & a lot of pills. The worst 1 was probably MURAD that made me breakout into double/triple headed cystic acne at a time(EWW!)& just darkened my face with scars. Getting a new job & moving to a new city, it was tough for me to "celebrate" with such embarrasing skin. Then an esthetician recommended OBAGI. At 1st of course I was very hesitant as it sounded too good to be true(like most products). Plus the cost is no joke! After some research on it, I got convinced to give it a try. After 4 weeks I immediately saw the difference. The joy of waking up every morning & not finding new acne is just priceless. Best of all, it peeled away the scars and gave me a better looking skin. It's been over 6 months now & my skin never looked better. I totally recommend it! Best of luck!

Pros:

Clears Acne!!!! Helps with hyperpigmentation! Awesome product!

Cons:

You will peel, and your skin will get red. (You may even get a few more pimples) But it's part of the process and if you stick with it the results are fabuluous!

I have had acne since I was 12, moderate acne that a teenager would get but this past summer due to stress and hormones I got terrible cystic acne. I went to the dermatologist and was put on 6 different meds to calm the process down. It calmed it down but that's about it. So I went to a different Dr. Got put on Obagi. She told me all about the side effects (redness, peeling, worse acne) but told me if I stuck to it that I would love her! And I do love her and even more than that my skin! I have only been on Obagi for 6 weeks. And still have another 6 weeks to go but if it has helped this much in just 6 weeks I can't imagine how amazing my skin will be in another 6 weeks. I have maybe 3 pimples now. I do have some hyperpigmentation and scars but they are fading and I plan to do a a couple chemical peels after treatment if I need it. I highly recommed this product!!!!!!
