Pros:

I started using Obagi approximately 3 weeks ago and it does a good job at clearing your skin from all the exfoliating and bleaching, but for the 1st three weeks your skin looks bad, but it starts to improve quickly

Cons:

It's very expensive and has parabens and other chemicals in it

This would be a good line for someone who is willling to try something new and can afford it. I am starting to see improvements in my skin's color and texture. So I think it was a good investment.

Pros:

Obagi products usually work very well, so I am exepecting great results.

Cons:

The price & it takes time to apply the product.

I have only been using ClienziDerm for about two weeks, but I haven't used it daily. It really dries out my skin so I decided to not use it everyday and it seems as though I am getting bumps on my forehead (little fine bumps) and I didn't really have breakouts on my forehead before I started using this product. The blackheads on my face have started to clear up and my skin is less oily. I will start to use the product daily and see what kind of results I get.

Pros:

Heals acne quicker, does somewhat help fade discolorations and even out scarring

Cons:

takes a while for skin to get used to treatment. caused a lot of flaking and redness. system is tedious. still breaking out

I started using this for some acne and scars, nothing too severe, but I have very fair skin and so any marks I get stay there in the form of a nice bright red mark for long time. The biggest benefit I see from obagi(nu-derm) is that it helps your skin to turn the cells over better, so that if you do get a pimple or a discoloration pops up, it's much less likely that it will stay there for months. I've had a few bad zits since I've been on it, but the only marks that are on my face are the ones that were there before I started the treatment. Overall, I think I'm disappointed because I was told I'd get really great results and it has been less than satisfying. A form of retin-a is also included in the kit and this is supposed to help with acne, but has not really changed mine all that much. I think this system probably works great for mild hyperpigmentation or sun damage, but maybe not as much for acne. I think it probably also depends on your skin type.

Pros:

Lightens skin, lessens fine lines, adds moisture for dewy complexion

Cons:

none so far, except that it's quite expensive.

I have been thrilled with the results of the Obagi Nu-Derm system. I have noticed that open pores are no longer visible. My freckles have lightened to almost non-existent and the use of the blender with the retin-A (Tretonin)results in no peeling or redness whatsoever. I have absolutely no complaints at all, just high praise.

Pros:

dries up acne thats under the skin very well.

Cons:

makes face very flakey, step 3 was VERY painful for me, and makes face very red.

Ive been battling with severe cycstic acne around my mouth area for about 6 months now, and this is the first thing ive used that keeps it dry. I took it for about 4 days straight, and then didnt take it for 2 days, and my skin stayed very dry. After my inital acne cleared I started taking it every 3 days, and it has been working great.

Pros:

Beautiful skin in 2-4 months, supervision from your skin care specialist or Doctor.

Cons:

cost and irritation especially if you have sensitive skin, plus doctors visits and RX prices

Love obagi, If you can afford it, and stick to it, you will wonderful results, however I have found the SSC glycolic system to be as effective if I just add the Retin A to my routine. I have been using in this order: Serious skin care glycolic cleanser, no toner needed, fading fluid (2% hydroquinone), glycolic gel, followed by retin-a 0.5% or C-serum drops or caps (one or the other not both together)every other night, was just as effective in revealing beautiful skin without quite as much irritation on my sensitive skin. Your skin will peel and burn too, I don't think you can get these results without it. As far as sunscreen ladies, I have found the best sunscreen for your face hands down is Banana Boat spf 50 tear free for babies. No stinging or tearing and a little goes a long way. Feels heavy at first, let it absorb in for about 10 minutes before applying makeup, looks beautiful under mineral makeups and smoothes the peeling rough stuff caused by the acids and retin

Pros:

lessend the the size of individual pimples, not the excessive number of pimples. faded melasma on cheek, but did not eliminate.

Cons:

Lots of peeling, and flaking. unable to wear makeup due to the severe dry skin. Bright red complection looked like a sun burn.

You need to keep trying products till you find the one that works. If you have tried alot of inexpensive products, and can afford obagi it is might be worth a try. It is $300, but it should last a year. only use a pea size amount for the entire face and allow each lotion to absorb before applying the next one. Good Luck!
