Soothing and great moisture.
I love this lotion, this is what I used every day before I started Dan's regimen. I now use his lotion on my face but I still use this for my neck it's less sticky and absorbs nicely. It feels great going on to as well.

Pros:

Non comedogenic
Non greasy
Non habit forming (I don't know what else to put here)

Cons:

Not exactly a heavy-duty moisturizer

I've used CeraVe Lotion on and off for a couple of years and never could decide if it caused acne, but I eventually got my acne under control and continued to use CeraVe with no problems. It's a great lightweight moisturizer that sinks into your skin without feeling greasy. I do want to stress "lightweight" because sometimes I feel the need to use multiple applications on certain areas in order to feel moisturized. It's not bad by any means, but it might be too light for some compared to a heavier moisturizer like Lac-Hydrin Five or jojoba oil. My acne facial regimen literally consists of nothing except washing my face with water and applying CeraVe.

I love cerave!! Instead of the lotion, i use the Mouisturizing CREAM. This is the only cream that works for my face.. When i started using this product i was in shock on the changes that my face was having. I highly reccomand it. -By the way i clean my face everyday with the oxy cleanser before puting the cream in my face. Oxy and Cerave is the only two products that reduced my acne.

Pros:

Moisturizes well, long lasting

I am using two topical lotions - a Retina-A and something called Sodium Sulfate 10% that are working well for me. I've been using them for 2 months along with oral medication (Spironolactone, birth control, and as of last week, 2xday/500 mg Ampicillin). Yeah - I'm really eager for clear skin and attacking it form all angles. My skin gets SO dry with the lotions, and CeraVe helps. I used Aveeno for the last 3 years, and when I switched to CeraVe I noticed my skin peeling less immediately. I apply my topical lotions only at night and CeraVe every morning. I also wear a fair amount of cover up and foundation - so CeraVe helps keep my makeup from peeling off with my skin longer than Aveeno ever did.

Pros:

Not greasy

This stuff worked great, inexpensive, and didn't make me break out. I used it before I got on Accutane and it worked but I switched to CeraVe's moisturizing cream when I got on Accutane. I buy all CeraVe's products and love them.

Pros:

* Moisturises very well
* Sinks in quickly to a matte finish
* Well priced
* Hasn't caused any spots

Cons:

* Not sold in the UK, so shipping is expensive

I've used many many moisturisers in the past, including cetaphil and dan's old formula (haven't tried the new one) and this is the best overall moisturiser I have used. It absorbs in to the skin very quickly and lasts a long time (I'm half way through my first bottle after a month of use). I can't comment on it's interaction with BP as I don't use it, but with the cerave cleanser it works a treat :).

Pros:

-drys quick
-goes under makeup well
-over the counter
-doesn't hurt your skin if you use any acne medicine such as Epiduo, Ziana, Differin, Tazorac ect.

Cons:

none

woks well, cheap, doesn't clog pores, so I say it's worth a try. And I've used Ziana and now I've just changed to Epiduo. I've recently used Cetaphil but i can't stand the smell and I have to be careful where to put it, such as putting it on my cheeks or on my T-Zones I'll get very oily so i've changed to this.

Pros:

Doesn't leave my skin greasy like most moisturizers!
Great to use as a follow up to drying benzoyl peroxide washes

Cons:

None!

Buy this if your skin is drying out big time, it'll fix it up right away.
