CeraVe : Moisturizing Lotion

This is my first review on here but think this is definitely worth it! I have moderate to severe acne which is mostly cystic and have had for about 7 years now. I will be going on accutane/isotretinoin on the 30th of August so I have decided to start my regime early! I have purchased this moisturiser due to all the good reviews and feedback on blogs, vlogs and threads for accutane. I have been using this just over a week and the difference is unbelievable!! My skin feels so much more hydrated, it is not greasy at all and it really does what it says. It creates a moisturising barrier for your skin so your skin really feels protected. I find it is a great base for makeup and feels like it doesn't let the makeup sink into my skin and clog my pores. I have found I don't even need to use a primer!! Also the difference I have noticed is my skin feels much more plump and my acne scars seem like they're fading. I am using this in conjuction with Cetaphil gentle cleanser which I have noticed soothes my redness however this moisturiser seems to soothe even more! My skin looks a lot less irritated, less red and my hyper-pigmentation is diminishing. This is the best moisturizer I have used since beginning Dan's regimen. I would recommend this to EVERYONE for all skin types! It leaves your face feeling better than every moisturizer I have used! I switched from Dan's moisturizer to cetaphil because Dan's burned my face to no end and really didnt moisturize that well, however cetaphil left me a greasy mess. So in came ceraVe and I will never turn back! Dan REALLY NEEDS to try this and get back to us so he can add it to his recommended products page.

CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion is great! It does not irritate at all, I cannot even feel that it's there. I'm no longer taking a risk of breakouts when I use a moisturizer. This does not make your face look shiny either

I have been using Cerave for almost 5 years now. I love this lotion. It's so lightweight, it doesn't feel like you're putting thick lotion on your face. It's definitely worth the price, and they frequently have coupons available online!!

I highly recommend this product. It's the only moisturizer that doesn't irritate my very sensitive skin.

Great product. I wanted something plain and not irritating. All of the stuff they sell either has alcohol, acne fighters or is anti-aging for moisturizers. I don't have wrinkles, and the alcohol and acne fighters are what dry out my skin. This lotion is so great.

This is by far the best moisturizer ever! Its great for your face as well as the whole body. and it replenishes skin well. Even people with acne prone skin can use this. If you are currently on acne meds such as benzoyl perozixe or clindamicin etc. this moisturizes your skin and calms any redness assoiciated with acne.

I've had good experiences with several other moisturizers (Neutrogena Healthy Skin & Neutrogena Ageless Essentials Continuous Hydradtion). Overall, they replenished my skin with moisture after the drying BP (and wore well under makeup) except for a few stubborn patches on the corners of my mouth and eyes. Nothing, absolutely nothing I did would take care of the flakes and scaliness! I tried moisturizers, creams, even jojoba oil to no effect. Finally after spending way too much money this month on every moisturizer with a good review, I gave this a try. I'm so glad I did =) Immediately there was a dramatic improvement in my skin. Whereas other lotions and creams sat on top of the dry patches, CeraVe sunk right in. Another nice thing is how gentle it is! I hate when products say "not for use around eyes or mouth" on the label; those are the parts that need it the most DUHHH. Don't waste another minute guys check this stuff out =) Hopefully it doesn't break you out like some people have complained of..if not, it's a lifesaver!

I've been searching for a replacement for Eucerin Skin Renewal SPF 15 Day Lotion for about a year now. I've gone through at least $300 worth of other moisturizers, toners, lotions, and creams. They all failed miserably. I was thinking about contacting a chem lab to have them reverse engineer the Eucerin for me but that would've cost about $1000 before it was all over. Then I found this. I was shocked at how good it really works. I would even go so far as to say that it's better than the Eucerin, and I've been known to think of that Eucerin as a gift from the gods. Cera-Ve is truly amazing. Its formula is unlike anything I've seen in other moisturizers. I have an extremely sensitive face and I use Differin at night to keep it clear. In the mornings I need moisture renewal after a shower and this stuff takes care of business, lasts all day, and doesn't clog pores at all. I'm so happy I found it.
