Pros:

Moisturizing
Thick
Gentle / soothing
Unscented

Cons:

Started to break out after a month
Became too thick/oily
Not good for oily/acne prone skin

I was originally using the acne.org moisturizer and switched to Cetaphil about a month ago. At first, the switch was amazing --- totally rejuvenating and hydrating. I used it for my face and neck (twice a day). My skin was looking near flawless with nearly no blemishes. However, a few days ago, I started noticing whiteheads on my chin and below my nose (the spot that gets a lot of natural oil buildup.) I decided to shrug it off and continue using but I've come to the conclusion that it is not doing the same job as earlier. Now, my skin feels way too oily and greasy when I apply this moisturizer; I can just feel my pores wanting to break out and I have a couple new pimples on my chin. Today, I decided to go out and buy two new moisturizers: CeraVe and Clean & Clear Oil Free. I tried both out today (one on each cheek) and they are completely different from Cetaphil (in that they are very light and thin opposed to thick and greasy.) I'm not sure which I will go with but more than likely it'll be CeraVe being that Clean and Clear gave me a burning sensation at first application.

Pros:

Its unscented, which is better than a horrible scent, and its somewhat cheap for the amount of lotion you get.

Cons:

Ick, the first time I used it, I felt like I was smearing butter all over my face. It worsened my acne, which is NOT ok....

Not worth it for your face, I researched a bunch of lotions before I went out and bought this, looked at each individual ingredient for it's comedome rating and it seemed so great... find something else. I'm back to researching, since the lotion I use is discontinued and almost out.

Pros:

Affordable. You get a lot for what you spend. You can use it on your body so once you discover that it sucks for your face, you won't be angry about wasting your money.

Cons:

It didn't absorb, made my face very greasy even after I washed my face in the morning and used my day lotion (I only used the Cetaphil at night).

I was just looking for something to use while my Dan's moisturizer was being shipped-- something light and non-irritating. This was way too greasy and my face never felt clean after I used it. DAN'S all the way!!!

Pros:

It moisturizes well and gets rid of flakiness.

Cons:

It's greasy as all get-out! I swear, touching my face was like touching a piece of bumpy raw bacon, and I wasn't even using that much!
Disgusting. It also burned my face for some reason, even though it's for sensitive skin.

Maybe it'd work for people who don't have normally oily skin? I couldn't stand how greasy it made me feel, though.

Pros:

Does moisturize pretty well.

Cons:

Insane burning for a few hours after applied, very greasy, very heavy.

When I put it on the pain is undescribable. It is so thick and gunky I absolutely do not look forward to applying it. I'm going to continue using it considering I have very dry skin using the regimen, but I certainly don't like it.

Pros:

This product does moisturize your face but you have to apply a lot of it!

Cons:

This product leaves your face feeling and looking super greasy.

If you don't mind carrying a sponge with you to soak up the oil on your face after using this product then this moisturizer is for you. If you can't stand going in public with a shiny, greasy looking face then I don't recommend this product.

Mixed feelings

Pros:

very mosturizing
non-comedogenic

Cons:

too thick
heavy to wear under makeup
can be a little bit greasy throughout the day

I am not so sure about this product. I like it how it is non-irritating, non-comedogenic, fragance-free. It is definitely a good lotion and it mosturizes my skin really well. Still, I find it too thick and therefore it's hard to blend it into your skin. For those who like me are on Dan's regimen and have sensitive skin due to the BP, might be a little hard to work with. I also find it a little heavy to wear under makeup. I love using it as a night-time lotion.

Pros:

- It does what it's meant to do, moisturizes.

Cons:

-kinda greasy
-makes my skin shiny
-clogs my pores

Bottom line, i won't use it again. My skin was doing so well, but I had to buy a moisturizer with no salicylic acid because it made my skin red for the whole day. So I tried this and it clogged my pores and I've had my worst break out in a few months.

Pros:

Great as a body moisturizer - keeps my skin supple all day.

Cons:

A little heavy for my face. I don't get much acne, just a pimple here and there yet when I used this moisturizer I really broke out!

The whole time I used this moisturizer I was breaking out and I thought it was just a phase my skin was going through... but as soon as I stopped using it my skin cleared up! I checked websites on-line for the most acnegenic ingrediemts and one of them is the 2nd ingredient in this cream! Go figure!!! (Cetearyl alcohol & Ceteareth-20) If you don't beleive me, check out: [link removed]
