Great moisturiser to use alongside drying acne treatments

Pros:

Very moisturising and leaves skin smooth and flake free
Does not break me out!
A little goes a long way

Cons:

Can appear shiny, especially if you use too much
No spf

I was surprised to see such negative reviews for this moisturiser on here. I know it doesn't suit everyone, but when using it for what it is intended for I've found it to be the best of its kind that I can easily get hold of here in the UK. Let's be clear, this moisturiser is intended for "very dry sensitive skin" or "following certain dermatological treatments" meaning that if you're using it on its own for oily, acne-prone skin you're bound to be disappointed. I've always used it in conjunction with either Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% or Epiduo and for me it is a godsend because it keeps my skin smooth, moisturised and flake free after such harsh treatments but does not cause me to break out anew. The only criticisms I have is that it can appear shiny on the skin, especially if you use too much, and it doesn't contain spf so it is a really great moisturiser for nighttime use but I am still searching for a good moisturiser for during the day! Conclusion: if used for what it's intended for this is a really gentle and highly effective moisturiser.

Pros:

Intensive moisturization
Doesnt break me out
One bottle lasts a long time
If you use straight after you pat dry your skin it absorbs into your skin
Flakes disappear
After a few days you can go without this as your skin will stay moisturized

Cons:

Can make skin shiny if you use a lot but good for a night cream or when you arent going anywhere

I break out easily from comedogenic products and this doesnt break me out alongside using 5% BP (Quinoderm)

Pros:

Non-Comedogenic
Quickly absorbs into skin
Moisturizing
A little goes a long way
Makes skin feel smooth
Easy to spread

Cons:

A bit greasy at first.

I really like this moisturizer. I only use it at night and it definitely helps with the dryness when I apply BP. At first it's a little greasy, but it absorbs very quickly. You don't even need a lot of product. I only use about a dime sized amount of lotion to moisturize my face and neck. Also, it doesn't break me out.

Pros:

Moisturizes well
Good price
Last long
Makes my skin soft and smooth
Good for someone with DRY skin

Cons:

Makes my FACE greasy

I bought this moisturizer to try on my face. It says for dry to normal skin. I have oily skin but i decided to use it anyway. I didn't break out or anything but bad mistake -__- I wouldn't recommend it for someone with oily skin because it just makes your skin look more greasy and oilier. However, my body itself usually does get dry so I saved it and now use it for my body. Works really well and keeps me moisturized through out the whole day and gives me soft skin.

Pros:

Very misturising, calming and gentle.
Good for sensitive skin
Should not break you out (not for me)

Cons:

Greasy if use too much

It is a cheap and effective. My mum has very dry skin I am gonna get her the cream ones to try. Good combination with BP, will keep using it. DO NOT ALLPY TOO MUCH, otherwise it is too greasy. Good for winter, but use small amount (one soy bean size is good for me). Australia sells it cheap, NZ price is crazy!

Pros:

Moisturizes very well
Skin feels soft and healthy after applying
Big container that can last you a long time
Doesn't break you out
Doesn't clog pores

Cons:

A little too thick
Skin gets a bit greasy and shiny after the first hour

This moisturizer hydrates skin very well. However, it makes my skin oily after a while, that's why I recommend using one pump and only at night. But overall, great moisturizer

Pros:

Non-greasy
Doesn't irritate sensitive skin

Cons:

Wish it was more moisturizing for my dry skin

I use this because I have very sensitive skin and can't use fragrance. It's non-greasy and doesn't clog my pores. Just wish it would make my skin look and feel softer.

Pros:

- Relieves skin when using BP
- Nice to apply
- Fragrance free --> avoids irritation

Cons:

- A bit expensive
- Leaves skin a bit oily

I ordered this product on Amazon, since I can't get Dan's products without another 50$ or so delivery costs, and it arrived last in my "Regimen-Pack", so I didn't use moisturizer with my BP treatment for about a week or so. That was horrible! I was so desperate to moisturize my skin that I used my non-fragrance free body moisturizer which left my skin itchy, burning and red throughout the day. You can imagine how relieved I was, when this finally arrived! It's wonderful in combination with The Regimen's BP treatment, since it moisturizes the skin a LOT and relieves it of most of the flakiness caused by BP almost immediately. It leaves the skin a bit oily, though, but I can cope with that as long as I get rid of my ace :)

Pros:

Solid cleanser
Non-irritating
Fairly inexpensive
Lasts long time

Cons:

Can't really say if it helps with acne
Doesn't really contain acne-fighting ingredients

Unfortunately I am unable to evaluate this product by itself as an acne treatment. My dermatologists suggested I use it in combination with my prescription treatments (doxy, benzaclin, tretinoin). The combination has worked great. This cleanser does seem to do it's part; I usually have oily skin and will have an oily buildup on my face by the end of the day. I scrub with this before applying the tretinoin in the PM. So far the routine is working, and I've seen a dramatic reduction in my acne. Bottom line: I don't think this will be an effective, long-term treatment for acne when used by itself, but I think it's a great complement for more aggressive treatment of moderate acne.
