Pros:

Moisturizes well
Keeps flakes at bay
From what I can tell lasts at least 10-12 hrs

Cons:

I can't really think of any right now.

Okay, like many people, I have been on the prowl for a great moisturizer forever (especially now in the winter)! Then this little beauty fell in my hands. It is great. What can I say? It moisturizes so well it's not even funny. Oh, and to all you reviewers who complain about the greasy/shiny look, it's supposed to be that way for a reason!!!! Shiny=thick and thick=long lasting. In order for it to be long lasting, it has to take a while to absorb!!! Which actually isn't all that long (about 10-20 min.) Plus, I love the look of a nice, shiny face for some reason. I think it makes me look more prepared and vibrantly personable. People, it is damn near impossible to have a moisturizer be effective and non-greasy/thick. It has those qualities for a good reason. As far as causing breakouts, I did just break out this week. HOWEVER. I think its because I've missed several night time DK regimen applications (sorry Dan I'm working on it). Good luck, guys and please get this!!!! You won't regret it!!!

Broke me out terribly!!
I have been searching for a substitute moisturiser for when I'm using the acne.org regimen and I tried this. After first apply my skin was sooooo much more hydrated and it felt great. But only after 2 days of using it my skin broke out TERRIBLY. 7 new pimples in. my face, and they are not small....Pls. help if anyone has a good substitute that doesn't cause pimples.

This has happened to me too, not to mention, it has this disgusting greasy, sticky feeling that never settles/absorbs in. I would be lying down on my pillow, only to feel the pillow sheet stick to my face. It also feels like my face can’t breathe, like it feels like something is on my face, almost like I lathered sticky cooking oil on my face. It also makes your face look very greasy the whole day and sweating makes it slippery and feel weird.

Pros:

unscented, dye free, won't clog pores, goes on pretty smooth, quick to absorb, controls flakes

Cons:

can't think of any...

So you're thinking about using this product but want a little guidance? That's what I was like a few weeks ago. I have been using Dan's products and regimen [VERY strictly] for 7 months now. When he came out with the new moisturizer, I didn't like it one bit. But I thought maybe I'll learn to like it, so I used it for a while. Nope. I still didn't like it. So I started searching for better options. I liked the reviews about this moisturizer, so I gave it a go. I have been using it for a few weeks now and I must say I like it a lot more than Dan's moistuizer. It doesn't feel as greasy. And Cetaphil did not cause any breakouts of any kind. As a side note, my skin was 100% acne free when I started using Cetaphil, and it's still 100% clear. Hope this helps anyone in need. Good luck to you.

Pros:

Works great and keeps skin moisturized all day. I use the pump bottle and one pump is more than enough to use on my face because it spreads so easily.

Cons:

EXTREMELY greasy.
I hate using this stuff, but I have to. If my skin wasn't always so dry and always peeling then I wouldn't use this. It makes me always look dirty and like I haven't showered in a week or two.

It's a great product if you have dry skin and need to moisturize, but it will make you look like a greasy homeless person with no form of a shower available.

Pros:

Moisturizes
Doesn't clog pores and reduces acne redness
Leaves skin soft and smooth

Cons:

Makes skin shiny

I use Cetaphil when I come out of the shower on my stretch marks and face. I really does work. I am very glad that I use this product. I recently learned that if you put a little on, it won't leave your skin feeling greasy. It's best for people with light acne and sensitive or flaky (or severly dry) skin

Pros:

Got rid of most of my flakes

Cons:

Irritated my skin (red and scaly)
Didn't remove ALL of my flakes (and even a few look terrible...)
Very thick
Takes a while to absorb (20-30 min)
Left me shiny

Ok, so I have only used this for a little over a week, but I'm mixed so far. It's very thick and takes a while to fully absorb, but it did a much better job of getting rid of flakes than Dan's moisturizer (the new one, at least). It also made my chin very irritated, red, and a bit scaly at times. I'm not sure if my skin is going to "adjust" to it over time but I'm not going to find out. My chin looks like a lobster, so I'm going to switch to another lotion. Not everyone has experienced this redness, so don't assume it will happen to you unless you try it. If it weren't for te redness, the rest would be fine and I would probably give it a 4/4.5.

Pros:

-EXTREMELY moisturizing
-Completely took care of my severe flakiness
-Is the perfect nighttime moisturizer for me
-Skin was noticeably softer and more hydrated after the first use
-Didn't break me out or clog any pores and I have very sensitive skin
-Was a good eye cream for me also

Cons:

-Somewhat thick
-Can take up to 20 minutes to fully absorb
-Makes the skin look shiny, oily, greasy (which is ok if you only use it at night)

Best moisture advice ever: At night, use a VERY generous amount of this and add 5-10 drops of jojoba oil. Watch miracles occur. My skin was dry, peeling, flaking, red, tight, and basically a mess. I started using this at night instead of Dan's new moisturizer and it finally brought much needed hydration to my face. I still use Dan's moisturizer in the morning because it's less shiny and greasy.

Pros:

Moisturized well, takes care of flakiness. Does not irritate skin or make it red. Absorbs quickly.

Cons:

A little too thick if you put too much on.

For me, this took care or the dryness and flakiness caused by the regimen much better than the Acne.org moisturizer and jojoba oil. I would recommend this for anyone that's still struggling with flakey skin.
