Please bring back old formulation
This used to be one of the few things that soothed the nerve pain in my husband's hands (non-diabetic idiopathic neuropathy), and the new stuff is instead irritating. Please consider offering two different products, something like "Standard" and "Intense Soothing." I realize it's more complicated to offer more products, but the previous formulation really was special (and going by other reviews on here, I'm not the only one who thinks so). The new formulation is fine for me, but again, it's nothing special, and I'd just as soon get something from a drug store.

Disappointed 😔
This website and regimen was a lifesaver when I was in the throes of some of the worst acne of my life- out of desperation I went on an internet deep-dive and came upon and the information within it and the products that were offered helped me tremendously. I've been a loyal customer since 2012 and have always loved the products, especially the moisturizer. I'm not the kind of person that feels compelled to leave reviews, but after using this product for so long and noticing the recent changes, I now feel compelled to do so. I was surprised with my last shipment to receive an insert mentioning the change to the moisturizer because of complaints that the yellow in it stained. I personally in all these years have never experienced that, and was surprised the formula would be changed because of something minor (in fact, the BP, for me, stains/bleaches way more than the moisturizer ever did!) But the insert assured that the formula is the same, just without the yellow, and so I moved on with my day. A week or two later when I finally had to use the new bottle though, I was really surprised at how different the moisturizer seemed. At first I thought I accidentally grabbed more of the BP, because when I started putting it on it had the same consistency and OH MY GOSH, the burn! I thought the burning was because I'd put on double the BP, but after I wiped it off and double checked that I was now putting on the moisturizer, the same stinging burn was there! It stayed like that for weeks until after each application (it would subside once dried), but then, I don't know, my skin eventually calloused to it? The smell is not at all pleasant either, and the consistency is so much thicker than before, it doesn't feel the same putting it on, and I feel like I have a mask on for some of the day because of it- the original formulation was so light and absorbed so nicely, this one just doesn't have the same qualities. I know in business it is impossible to make everybody happy, but this seems like more than just a color-change issue- I'm not sure how essentially just a color change could effectively change so many other properties of an otherwise perfect product. I know that any change to product can be a time-consuming and expensive endeavor, but I hope that these reviews are taken into consideration when moving forward. I have always loved these products, and will continue to use this new moisturizer for a time, but unfortunately I am already on the lookout for a comparable moisturizer elsewhere that doesn't do to my skin what this new one does.

New formula is disappointing

The old formula for this lotion was absolutely perfect for my oily, sensitive skin. This new lotion is thick and heavy, my skin does not absorb it well.  I wake up with clogged pores on my forehead and cheeks now. I’m so disappointed and have had to start looking elsewhere for something that will work.

Too bad…

I?ve been using this for A LONG TIME and like others I have to make a review.  Dan, your regimen has been the only thing that?s ever cleared my acne!  The moisturizer was thin and absorbs well!  I wasn?t ever afraid to put more on.  This new bottle (bought last month) is white in color, thick like Cerave moisturizing cream, and it feels very heavy on my skin.  My skin feels like it has a layer of film on it and the product pills in the morning (balls up) when I wipe my finger across my face.  I?ve got horrible cystic acne in places I don?t normally have (my neck, middle of cheeks, by ears near hairline) and a red rash near my ears (see picture).  I only ever use the Regimen and the moisturizer is the only thing that?s different.  Also, has anyone else noticed the awful smell?  I tried to ignore it, but it smelled like liquid fermenting at the bottom of a trash can when I first opened it.  It makes me sad to see so many negative reviews, and even more sad to write one.  Dan!  Please change it back!  You?ve helped countless people struggling with acne MYSELF included!  I want to cry because this is the only thing that has worked for me and now I?m thinking about tossing it in the bin.

I experience the same thing. So sad and disappointing that Dan let go of something that worked so well.

not what I expected

I will start off saying I do not know how the old formulation compared to this one. However, one thing I do like about this moisturizer is that it does not irritate skin or cause any breakouts. That being said I am older with oily skin and even I don't find this formulation to be hydrating enough. Even with adding the additional jojoba oil drops or the Vinchy 89 hydrating serum. Since I almost 30 now I understand that with acne products if you use them you need something very hydrating to counteract that. Even with oily skin type and adding in the additional hydrators to help its still not moisturizing enough. I feel like the moisturizer is not a dud but something could be added to really amp this up, there are so many products on the market.

Not the best

Hello, so almost a year ago I had purchased the regimen and before it had 10% benzoyl peroxide and my face would really dry up. So when I’d apply the moisturizer (as directed on the pan flip provided) my face would get really dark like a tan. So I’d always use a little bit of moisturizer which suck for a while until my face got use to the product, I didn’t really use it. However the rest of the products help with my acne.

Skin turned orangey??

I don't mind this moisteriser, no major issues with it's moisterising, however when my son's skin was getting really dry and peeling, i advised him to put lots of this on throughout the day. I soon noticed that his skin was starting to look kind of orangey. We changed moisterisers and a few days later his skin lost that funny colour. I know they say it doesnt discolour the skin....but its strange that he stopped it and that colour went away.

Hey. So I have been using the moisterizer for about 2 months and lately the moisterizer has been making my skin feel super greesy and oily. I use 1 1/2 pumps after the cleanser and 2 pumps of the BP night and day. At night it's greesy and oily but it's tolerable but then in the day when I go out it gets so greesy and oily and feels so heavy . I have oily skin to begin with but It looks and feel as if there is a layer of oil on my face. If anyone can help and answer these questions... '¢AM I USING TO MUCH?- '¢SHOULD I USE LESS- '¢SHOULD I USE MORE?- '¢SHOULD I USE ANTOHER MOISTERIZER?- '¢SHOULD I NOT USE AT ALL? '¢IS THERE A WAY TO MAKE LESS GREESY?- '¢AM I APPLYING WRONG ?- '¢WHY IS IT MAKING MY FACE GREESY?- '¢DOES GREESY MOISTERIZERS CAUSE MORE BREAK OUTS?- it doesn't burn or itch my face at all. but I really want to know why it makes my face so greesy. I have been putting on the same amount of moisterizer for the same amount of time. I want to just not put it on because dry skin to me vs. oily skin is just more comfortable but I am afraid when my face is dry I might break or . ANY THOUGHTS?? (If you can copy and paste and answer the questions I would appreciate it so much)

Hi there! I found that this moisturizer made my skin excessively greasy, and I have very dry skin. I even tried reducing the amount to see if I could feel less greasy, but I always did throughout the day. Unfortunately, for me, the excess grease that wasn't getting absorbed ended up giving me acne. Since you are not experiencing any breakouts, you are free to continue using it and try applying less. However, there are many moisturizers at the drugstore that might make you feel less oily. I know Cetaphil and CeraVe come highly rated on his forum, but for me, they break me out. You'll just have to patch test and see for yourself. Good luck!!

Ugh me too! My acne before using this moisturizer was really minimal surface acne plus some cystic on my chin. But when I started using this SAME thing happened to me. Really greasy AND white heads spread all over. I have so many congested pores on my face where i didnt have problem acne at all. I like the cleanser but jeez this moisturizer did a number on my face in only a matter of days. I want my money back :(

Mixed feelings about this product.
I love products except for this one. This is the worst product unfortunately. During the peeling period of the regimen(which is a month), it does NOTHING. Even if it is applied every hour. The good thing is it did not or does not break me out. CONS: Does NOT absorb into the skin. It leaves your skin looking oily like a pizza. It has a yellow tinge to it which makes you look like you have hepatitis (not a good look, on a already acne-ridden face). No SPF protection :( Note: I did not want to throw it away, so I use it as a moisturizer for my neck. It works well there.
