Pros:

Works better than most moisturizers you can buy at a store

Cons:

Nowhere near as good as the old moisturizer. When I have to buy more of this, I do so reluctantly. I really wish I could get more of the other formula.

It's really unfortunate that the old moisturizer is no longer available. I don't use the regimen any more, but the moisturizer is something that I continued to use. Now, I'm afraid I will have to find something else, as I cannot justify continuing to buy such an expensive product when I'm not particularly happy with it.

Pros:

-Feels good when put on skin
-The shipping was quick like always :-)
-May have taken away a little of the red in the huge zits it caused

Cons:

-Broke me out under my eyes within two days (HUGE lumps, right before an interview to start my career)
-Still left me incredibly oily at the end of day or after being outside in any type of heat
-Didn't moisturize as well as the old one I feel
-Incredibly flaky after washing now, and throughout the day (even after using 2 pumps, and more when needed)

I was so excited to get this product, because I thought it would keep me less oily. However, it did not work as hoped. Instead, it may have made the oily-ness worse. I know it made my face worse, as I am peeling like crazy AND have 3 huge lumps that I have never (even before the regimen) had in my life. This has all happened even though I have been on the regimen with all acne.org products for about a year without the flaky side-effects and huge zits. This has disappointed me so badly that I am stopping the regimen all together. It had worked for a few months incredibly, but now I feel it is doing far more damage than good. I am sick of slathering my face with this BP and not feeling like I can do anything without causing an intense break out. I am sick of letting acne take over my life. Instead, I am simply going to wash my face occasionally with Purpose cleanser and hope it works itself out soon. Nobody in my family had acne so maybe it was just a quick phase. I am a 22 year old male by the way if anyone is wondering. As happy as I was to get this product, I am a million times more upset with the results. Prior to using it, I had been almost 100% clear. To test this product, I did nothing but stuff at home for about a week to weed out any other variables. The only thing I changed was this moisturizer from the old one. Nothing else changed. I'm left with huge cyst like bumps under my eye that might heal by Christmas (it's September now). Can't wait for my interview, now that it looks like I got punched in the eye and bit by something large three times. Incredibly bummed and discouraged. Maybe this is just a sign telling me I'm better off without anything on my face...

Pros:

- Very moisturizing; perhaps too much
- It really felt like natural face oil and this is good because it "tricks" the skin into producing less or no oil

Cons:

- Thick
- Felt like I'm slapping sludge on my face ( no offense Dan)

Short story: It moisturizes too much until it leaves my face oily and full of slick as if I didn't wash my face in the first place. Long story: I started and still am using The Regiment. Everything is good about it except the moisturizer. There's just something about that isn't right. Maybe I'm not using correctly but if I were to put too little, my skin flakes and peels like a snake. If I put too much, there is less flaking BUT my face feels no different as before I started The Regiment; as in it felt like my typical oily face without washing. And sometimes it actually causes pimples to return! It would be great if it wasn't so thick like an inch of make up and the ability to apply it gracefully especially into nooks and crannies too completely moisturize the whole face. It's just my own opinion but I feel that moisturizer should make your face refreshed and cooling and hydrated and not leaving your face feeling oily and slick.

Pros:

Smells decent
Applies smoothly
Doesn't cause breakouts
Doesn't irritate allergy-prone skin

Cons:

Leaves a film
Slow to absorb
Burns dry skin
Needs frequent re-application

I didn't use the "old" formula, so I cannot compare. I came to this formula from a variety of commercially available moisturizers, and this is the one I have stuck with. Why? Simply, it doesn't cause more breakouts. None of the other sensitive skin-safe moisturizers I used left me feeling confident that they weren't contributing to my breakouts. This does leave a film on the skin. It shows up yellow under my fingernails if I scratch my face, and has stained my white pillowcases yellow. It also takes some time to absorb, so I can't apply it shortly before going out in public or I'll be all greasy-faced. It does sting when applied to dry skin; however, I find that the stinging fades quickly and does not produce any lasting pain. It also has not caused me any redness or visible irritation. It does need to be reapplied frequently to dry skin; I apply it up to three times over the course of the day, just to cut down on flakiness. In short, if you, like me, find that all else has failed, this lotion suffices. However, if I found another non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic lotion that was safe for acne-prone skin AND moisturized well, I would switch in a heartbeat.

Pros:

has nice ingredients?

Cons:

Stings some parts of my face
seems a bit too watery?
didn't take care of flakes from the bp
face doesn't feel moisturized

I finally got the regime two days ago and i know i probably havent given enough time but here goes: i figured it might be from my skin not being adjusted to the bp but after reading these reviews i think it might be from the moisturizer. I will continue using this for maybe a week longer then try a normal moisturizer and see what the go is. Also the skin around my eyes became very very dry and this moisturizer did not do a thing about it.

Pros:

Does not sting
Generous size for the money paid

Cons:

Does not moisturize nearly as good as the old moisturizer!
Skin goes dry after an hour or so after applying
Skin feels 'tight'
3 full pumps of moisturizer used, put extra coatings on and still no success
Previously used old moisturizer for the last 2years with no problems...... bring it back!

Old moisturizer much better New moisturizer leaves skin dry and tight ....Overall cant complain about the regimen, it has worked wonders! Thanks Dan

Pros:

Lichocalcone is amazing, absorbs quite well, is not very oily or greasy on skin, and overall feels good.

Cons:

Doesn't moisturize AT ALL.

I love everything about this moisturizer except one thing: IT DOESN"T MOISTURIZE!! What am I supposed to do with a moisturizer that does nothing for flakes, tight or dry skin?! I am extremely gentle on my face, use AHA regularly, and apply this moisturizer twice a day. 4 pumps with 6 drops of jojoba oil!! My skin is still unbelievably flaky and dry. I only use 1 pump of benzoyl peroxide and wash my skin gently for 10 seconds with Dan's cleanser.

Not for Me
I read the other reviews on this moisturizer after about a couple weeks on the regimen and most of them are pretty close to what I was experiencing. During the first week (while my face was still producing oil LOL) the moisturizer was great, but as I increased my BP and my face started getting dryer, the moisturizer was not moisturizing my face at all even with the jojoba oil. My face would look dark and oily and after the moisturizer absorbed, my face would feel so dry after only an hour. It's hard to wear make-up while using this moisturizer and I feel like I need to because it makes my skin look way worse than it is. On top of that it makes my skin burn really bad. I ditched this moisturizer and now I use St. Ives Timeless Collagen Skin Moisturizer and it works so much better. I add jojoba oil to that too. My skin still burns a little after the BP but at least now my skin feels better than it did before. It's still dry since that's what the BP does but my face doesn't feel like there's a nasty residue on it, it only burns for like 15 minutes after I apply, and my face doesn't look and dark and gross anymore. It also does't look like my skin is dry when I wear foundation and my acne has also been clearing up faster. So my advice, try the moisturizer out if you want to but if you don't like it, ditch it. It barely moisturizes and there are better cheaper ones out there you can get!

Good for the first month or so..
Doesn't break me out, but it is very greasy and heavy and makes my skin a weird yellowish colour..

Horrible
This moisturizer did the complete opposite than it's supposed to do. My skin somehow became an oil slick, but flaky, itchy and irritated at the same time!! The regimen is amazing but honestly this moisturizer needs to be fixed. And the smell is just... A no.

Same here, if you don't mind me asking, which moisturizer did you switch to?
