Pros:

Really calming and soothing
Even skin tone
No redness

Cons:

Not moisturizing
Flakes and skin shedding increased
Super expensive

I actually feel kinda bad. I know Dan was faithful in this stuff working. But it doesn't. Maybe us dry-skinned folks are dependent on glycerin after all. I didn't even use the full amount of this because I'm cheap, but even a single pump of this under my olay SPF moisturizer in the day made me flake like no tomorrow, it's like my skin shed extra dead skin, to the point it almost felt encased in a shell of dead skin. My skin was even and soothed alright, just shedding like facial dandruff. Always shedding. A waste of a good amount of money. Now I have no idea what I'm going to do with the rest =P

Pros:

Smells decent
Applies smoothly
Doesn't cause breakouts
Doesn't irritate allergy-prone skin

Cons:

Leaves a film
Slow to absorb
Burns dry skin
Needs frequent re-application

I didn't use the "old" formula, so I cannot compare. I came to this formula from a variety of commercially available moisturizers, and this is the one I have stuck with. Why? Simply, it doesn't cause more breakouts. None of the other sensitive skin-safe moisturizers I used left me feeling confident that they weren't contributing to my breakouts. This does leave a film on the skin. It shows up yellow under my fingernails if I scratch my face, and has stained my white pillowcases yellow. It also takes some time to absorb, so I can't apply it shortly before going out in public or I'll be all greasy-faced. It does sting when applied to dry skin; however, I find that the stinging fades quickly and does not produce any lasting pain. It also has not caused me any redness or visible irritation. It does need to be reapplied frequently to dry skin; I apply it up to three times over the course of the day, just to cut down on flakiness. In short, if you, like me, find that all else has failed, this lotion suffices. However, if I found another non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic lotion that was safe for acne-prone skin AND moisturized well, I would switch in a heartbeat.

Pros:

sorry.....can't really think of any. i tried, really i tried.

Cons:

*i still experience a slight sting...anyone else??
*i use 2 full pumps and i have flaky skin a few hours later [that didn't happen with the old formula]
*takes FOREVER to absorb into the skin. which is really a pain when i'm in a hurry.
*cost more $$ and i don't like this formula as much
*feels gloppy on my face

BRING BACK THE OLD MOISTURIZER! It was cheaper, was better at moisturizing, felt better on my skin. I really miss the old moisturizer. I wish Dan sold/offered both so people could choose what they wanted. Why only one choice? why not both? new moisturizer: doesn't live up to all the "hype".

Pros:

Goes on as easily as the original

Cons:

Leaves skin with yellow tint
Stains white clothing yellow
Have to use a lot more than the original
More expensive initially, not to mention you use more so you need to buy more frequently ($$$)

Not as good as the original. Just when I found a moisturizer that worked wonders (i.e., Dan's original), he changes the formula to some yellow junk that is more expensive, tints skin and clothing, and is more expensive. I think he should give the option to buy the new stuff or the old stuff. I wasted $30 (including shipping) for this new yellow junk. I need to find a new moisturizer...again. Very frustrating!

Pros:

-Feels good when put on skin
-The shipping was quick like always :-)
-May have taken away a little of the red in the huge zits it caused

Cons:

-Broke me out under my eyes within two days (HUGE lumps, right before an interview to start my career)
-Still left me incredibly oily at the end of day or after being outside in any type of heat
-Didn't moisturize as well as the old one I feel
-Incredibly flaky after washing now, and throughout the day (even after using 2 pumps, and more when needed)

I was so excited to get this product, because I thought it would keep me less oily. However, it did not work as hoped. Instead, it may have made the oily-ness worse. I know it made my face worse, as I am peeling like crazy AND have 3 huge lumps that I have never (even before the regimen) had in my life. This has all happened even though I have been on the regimen with all acne.org products for about a year without the flaky side-effects and huge zits. This has disappointed me so badly that I am stopping the regimen all together. It had worked for a few months incredibly, but now I feel it is doing far more damage than good. I am sick of slathering my face with this BP and not feeling like I can do anything without causing an intense break out. I am sick of letting acne take over my life. Instead, I am simply going to wash my face occasionally with Purpose cleanser and hope it works itself out soon. Nobody in my family had acne so maybe it was just a quick phase. I am a 22 year old male by the way if anyone is wondering. As happy as I was to get this product, I am a million times more upset with the results. Prior to using it, I had been almost 100% clear. To test this product, I did nothing but stuff at home for about a week to weed out any other variables. The only thing I changed was this moisturizer from the old one. Nothing else changed. I'm left with huge cyst like bumps under my eye that might heal by Christmas (it's September now). Can't wait for my interview, now that it looks like I got punched in the eye and bit by something large three times. Incredibly bummed and discouraged. Maybe this is just a sign telling me I'm better off without anything on my face...
