tetra lies to you
I am going to be honest with you , this product works temporarily because you are using it with a face wash and a treatment cream ,so basically you have to figure out which one is making it better and which one is making it worse , treat your acne inside by lots of water healthy fresh foods and rather use the facial products which is less harmful to your body

Pros:

Cleared some of my acne so it wasn't so severe
No side effects at all

Cons:

only saw a very small difference
after time its effectivness decreased untill it didn't work at all

Worth trying, as there were no bad side effects so you may aswell try, but the improvement is only small

I've been on Tetralysal for 3 months now, the first two months my doc gave me a double dosage so I had to take 2 pills a day for 56 days. Nothing changed, literally, nothing. My lips are dry as hell, they always are pretty dry but the corners of my mouth have ripped and the skin is shedding of my lips because they are so dry so I just apply a lot of hydrating lip balm. For my skin, nothing has changed.. At first the 'rashy' acne on my forehead disappeared for a while but now that I'm on a normal dosage, it's back. I don't like the fact that I take antibiotics every day and the fact that they do nothing makes it even worse.

Made things worse
I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but I'm near the end of my 8 week prescription of Tetralysal and throughout the period of taking the tablets my spots have been doing nothing but get worse. I would say that before they were always massive boils but now they are always loads of little spots, almost like a rash but it's definitely white heads all over my cheeks sometimes its all over my neck and chest. It's like it picks an area of my body/face to be bad and then I get spots there that I have never had before, they go away quickly and then I get another bunch in another area. What I want to know is, does this happen to anyone else? And is it only after you finish the course that it makes things better? Cause this has definitely made things worse but I continue to take them because I know that you must finish antibiotics when you are given them. Before I just had massive cysts on my forehead. I would say its good because the spots are tiny and I've not had many cysts but I've not enjoyed having double the amount of spots I have ever had.

I started taking Lymacycline 23rd July this year. And exactly like you say it get's worse. As in many small spots that make your face look on fire. I have severe acne and have had it all over my chest / back and neck etc. Prior to lymacycline my chest and back were much clearer when i was on Doxycycline. I took this couple yrs back but it did not really make no difference, but recently it did. I have had couple large cysts but i'd bring that down to me always having them. That's just part of my acne but never have i had a flare up of smaller acne spots like this. Mind you they do say the acne may get worse before it gets better. No idea why but it's a common thing they say. Let me know how you get on. I'm 24 and i am so fed up. Should not have it at this age. but sh*t happens. Will you let me know how you get on? Lymecycline
I've been taking Lymecycline 1 a day for 5 weeks now with no improvements whatsoever, is it worth upping my doseage to 2 a day? Will it speed things up? Also was put on Dianette 10 days ago but I know that takes a while to kick in!

Temporary solution but overall no point
After 6 months, skin was clear, stayed like that for 3 months, then back to where I started. But now, my body is immune to this antibiotic, and it's unlikely that is its only long term impact. If you are iffy about this - it is pointless, try accutane first or just some stronger antibiotic.

Nothing for face, maybe for body?
I did not use this particular brand (I live in the UK and was simply prescribed Lymecycline) but I would like to leave a review. I have mild acne which looks worse than it is, and I found that this did nothing for it. I didn't notice any improvement on my face, however, I had a couple of spots here and there on my back and chest, and this cleared them up slightly, so perhaps this would be good for someone looking to clear their body.

Not that happy so far
I've been on lymecycline for 3 weeks today and my skin is still really quite bad, I saw a reduction of redness in the first few weeks but now I've seem to have gotten more acne in the past few days and my cheek and forehead spots are really quite red. I am taking one 408mg capsule per day as perscribes from my doctor but I feel it's not working quick enough, but I will stick with it as I am too scared to up my dosage without consulting my doctor. I am on them for 2 months so I am nearly halfway through and my skin is still very bad and I just hope they take action soon or I will be very disappointed. But best of luck to you all.

You should wait about 2 months before you'll see results . Also you can tell it works as you have seen a reduction in redness. Or its just not the treatment meant for you . I am also on the same treatment and personally i have noticed that it treats back and chest acne better than facial acne . Although i have been on the treatment for a while and only have 3 weeks left but i have broken out nearly the worst i have ever been.

Never worked for me
Been on these twice in my life. When I was 12 to 14 and also 2015 when I was 23 - the second time it made everything worse.
