Worked!!
I've been on this for nearly 5 months now, and it's definitely been working!! I'm just really scared the acne will come back when I go off it (my derm said i probably will have to.) Hopefully it stays away, I will update in a few months? :)

Recommend
I had taken lymecycline for a while and it took some time to kick in but once it did it make my skin so clear. However I didn't realise how much it was benefitting my skin so I decided to try something else and my skin broke out bad☹️ But now I'm going to go back to them hoping they will have the same effect again 🤞🏼( I found taking it with the tropical solution is a great combination)

Good for mild-moderate acne
This medication took about 8 weeks to really kick in, but once it did my skin hadn't been as clear since before my acne developed. Be patient! I didn't experience any side effects, although it could've been the culprit of a slight liver notice in a blood test whilst I was on it (I took lymecycline for a very extensive period) Unfortunately, I relied on this for too long so eventually stopped being effective and had to move onto Roaccutane. But I think it is a promising method for mild to moderate acne, for people that topical creams etc haven't worked, or have stopped working. I think it's tough to give this med a 1-star review. For those people that it hasn't worked on probably have a severe form of acne and need to move onto the likes of Roaccutane. But unfortunately, weaker methods need to be tried first; I've suffered for a few years on and off until I was referred to a dermatologist. Also, (if it isn't mentioned when you take it) it's probably worth trying to ween off slowly at the end of the course e.g. taking every other day, then every 2 days etc. My acne broke out badly after abruptly stopping.

Was my wonder drug!! BUT only 15 months
I was put on this at 15 in June 2016 and honestly it worked wonders. it cleared up my acne (obviously I still got a couple of spots but it was nowhere near acne and what can you ask for? its not made for miracles.), anyhow it cleared it up brilliantly until it started to deteriorate in September 2017(same time I started a new college) I came off it then (in hindsight a bad choice) and I'm now on something else, praying for a quick result. Honestly I would suggest trying it, it's unlikely that it will deteriorate for you as it did for me. Hope this helps someone :)

Great while it worked
A bit like doxycycline - worked great for a few months, cleared my skin and then stopped working. It didn't actually clear my skin quite as well as the doxycycline in that it didn't leave it all baby soft and perfect but it gets 4 stars because if I took one on an empty stomach I wouldn't get the hideous nausea that I did a couple of times when I forgot to eat something first on doxycycline. I did stop for a few months and then try to lymecycline again but it didn't work second time around.

Lymecycline 408mg
I'm 22 and have had acne on my back since the age of about 15. When I turned 21 I also started to develop mild acne on my cheeks. After trying various medication I have seen a dramatic change to my back acne since using Lymecycline - I'd go as far to say that 3/4 of all acne on my back has gone. I was prescribed the 408mg by a private dermatologist and have taken 2 tablets a day for 3 months (NHS can only recommend 1 a day). This medicine in addition to Duac gel has really helped and I would definitely recommend! However I would only say 4 stars as my facial acne has not significantly improved (To note I am not taking the Tetralysal brand - just Lymecycline so not sure if this makes a difference?)

Gutted but hopeful
I'm 38, I had moderate acne as a teenager but was clear by 21. At the age of 27 and started getting massive cysts on me cheeks, and they lasted for months ( I had a couple that lasted over a year). I was given Lymecycline and Differin but I'm impatient so I ditched them and opted for a faster treatment. After spending 1000's on different treatments (N-Light cost a fortune but was crap). Eventually I got fed up and went back onto my prescribed medication, and within a couple of months my spots cleared (I was angry with myself for not giving them more time). I took Lymecycline for about 3 years and gradually eased myself off them, I kept up with Differin but only used it every other day and eventually I stopped (7 years clear). I got the odd tiny pimple but nothing drastic, that was until Christmas 2016. Out of the blue I had a bad breakout (not as bad as before, but enough to effect my confidence) this coincided with me being told I was being made redundant. I'm back on Lymecycline and Differin, but I reckon the main reason why my acne cleared up when I was 30 was because I stopped stressing about it, and I believe the reason it came back was down to stress. So folks, my words of advice is, keep calm, avoid looking in the mirror and try and get a good nights sleep.

Great for acne
I've been taking this about four weeks and my breakouts stopped, but the red marks are not fading, which is my biggest problem. I hope the antibiotics do treat the inflamed marks, but there's still plenty of time to see if they are good at eliminating them. But as far as the acne is concerned, I strongly recommend Lymecycline as it's great at removing spots.

nice
Taking it in conjunction with azelaic acid. Not sure what if it's this or the azelaic acid that's improving my skin... maybe both. But my skin in just 2 weeks has had no breakouts and my hyperpigmentation is fading. Yay!
