Even when I dilute it with water the lemon juice BURNS! And I didnt think I had sensitive skin. But it does work.

Amazing so far.

Cons:

Stings at first

I've started applying lemon juice on mostly my forehead to get rid of those stupid whiteheads since Monday every night before i go to sleep. All I can say is that it's kind of improving it. I know nothing can't happen right away so I'm going to give it two weeks to see if it'll really work. I also started to drink warm water with freshly squeezed lemon once a day too. Hopefully this helps with the whiteheads I have on my forehead!

Pros:

helps clear acne
helps fade marks

Cons:

stings like crazy, even when dilluted with water
Doesn't clear everything
gave me a rash

I had high hopes for this due to the reviews. I used it for about a week, and it was really starting to help clear my acne. However, I noticed that the skin on my chin had become extremely discolored and blotchy. I guess I'm just sensitive to citrus or something. It might work for you, so try it anyway.

Pros:

leave my skin soft

when i apply lemon juice on my face, i leave it on for 30 minutes then i go wash my face. it doesn't dry my skin or anything and makes my skin super soft...it doesn't even sting that much...

Pros:

It feels refreshing, and it also smells refreshing.
It rids of oiliness in your skin.

Cons:

It didn't really work for me, there was no immediate sign of acne relief or treatment.

Well the bottom line is, I don't think it will work for everyone, but try it if you will. I used it for a few days, using the lemon juice as a "wash" and left it on overnight. There was no clear sign of improvement (i took pictures), some were gradually going away, but that always happens regardless of treatment. But i still recommend those who have not yet used Lemons for acne treatment yet, as it may work on you!

Pros:

it definitely got rid of my pimples quickly, and at first evened out my skin tone (faded scars)

Cons:

I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and within a week of applying the lemon juice topically, my skin developed these horrible little bumps all over and felt so dry. It was awful.

I think this remedy is good for people with very resilient skin, tough skin. My skin is easily irritated so using it regularly would not work for me. Maybe if you have dry, sensitive skin you should use it no more than once a week. The aspirin/honey mask has worked wonders for me though.

Pros:

gets rid of hyperpigmentation
drys up spots
refreshes skin tone
(if used regularly)

Cons:

doesn't prevent future acne

i had a major breakout just before i went on holiday for six weeks. whilst i was away i used lemon all over my face day and night for like 4-6 weeks. most definately it helped to speed up the process of getting rid of those spots, the redness and the god awful hyperpigmentation that followed. but in no way did it stop new spots from forming, nor did it get rid of those pesky under the skin flesh coloured bumps i have which seem to be the bain of my existence....

Pros:

none

Cons:

very irritating, very drying and not for sensitive skin

I cant beleive this has so many good reviews.LEMON APPLIED TOPICALLY CAN BURN OUT YOU SKIN.the only thing it did was making my skin red and small red pimples began to form.NOT RECCOMENDED FOR SENSITIVE SKIN.what a hoax.however lemon as a drink works really well but not topically
