Pros:

Does the job and is the only thing that really prevents oil and scaring the natural way

Cons:

Non

Lemon juice is amazing. I love the taste of lemons and heard it lightens skin but never needed it for that purpose. I have mild scarring and have brown skin so my scars are more prominent I would think. I read that lemons were good for fading scares and killing bacteria in your pores which are the cause of acne. So I tried it just mix a teaspoon of honey in half a bowl of natural lemon juice not the store bought staff. The acidity burns at first but you have to endure it because it works like magic and still doesn't damage your skin. My face looks and feels to good to be true I have barely any oiliness and my scares are fading after just 3 uses they are almost completely gone. It annoys me that I never thought to try other skin care methods because I could of had a flawless complexion if I learnt the wonders of a 30 minute daily lemon mask ages ago. PLEASE TRY IT THIS A SECRET EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW. Oh and remember to apply it daily with a cotton ball not your finger which can counteract the effect ;)

Pros:

when diluted makes a good tonic for the skin to keep bacteria at bay

Cons:

messy
needs to be used fresh

I posted one review of this one already, where I describe my usage of it for prevention of reinfection of squeezed out zits. It works like magic for that and I use it only on the zit in its undiluted form. However, if you want to use it for your entire face I suggest you dilute it with water! It's way to harsh for your skin if it's pure! The reason it works is that acne bacteria (Propionibacterium acnes) don't like acidic pH. So when I don't have lemon, I use vinegar (diluted!).

Pros:

-fades acne marks
-treats existing acne
-HELPS PREVENT REGULAR AND CYSTIC ACNE
-improves all around look and feel of skin

Cons:

-stings a bit at first

When I first started using lemon juice three weeks ago I bought the bottled kind made from concentrate, I got ok results but nothing drastic like I was expecting. A few days ago I decided to try fresh lemons instead by cutting it in half and rubbing it on my face, wow what a difference it made! My skin isn't sensitive at all so I do this twice a day. I start my day by washing with clear pore by neutrogena I immediately rub half a lemon on my face, let it sit for about an hour, then I rinse it off with cold water. In the evening I wash with clear pore and follow with the other half of the lemon and leave it on overnight. I've been doing this for 4 days and my acne is 90% gone. YAY!

Pros:

-Miracle cure
-Removes scars in a matter of days
-Drives away active acne

Cons:

-Stings like whoa, especially on active acne (but worth it)

So here's my scenario: It was 8 days until a big event, and I'd had some acne scars on my face since I can't remember when. They just wouldn't seem to go away. So every night, I applied pure lemon juice (not watered down at all) squeezed from a lemon to my face using little round cotton pads from the drug store. I let it sit for 15 minutes, then washed my face with a washcloth. After just 5 or 6 days, my scars were barely noticable!! My face looks perfectly clear now!! The only drawback is the sting, but I just grit my teeth and bear it, because it WORKS!

Pros:

Kills acne bacteria
Reduces redness
Lightens scars
Clears acne
Very cheap!
Natural

Cons:

It may sting a little but goes away quickly.

I've been using this remedy for 2 weeks and all I can say is that it works amazing! I used to have bumpy, inflamed skin. Both of my cheeks were covered with acne and a little bit on my chin and temples. Now, my acne are 50% smaller. It also lightened my scars. First, I cleanse my face using a regular cleanser. Then, I dip the cotton ball into my lemon mixture (50% lemon juice and 50% water) and gently rub into my face and leave it on overnight. It kills the bacteria and dries up the pimples.

Pros:

- Exfoliates your skin
- Reduces a lot my acne scars
- Helps a lot with blemishes and acne
- You need to figure out what kind of lemon is the best for you (the regular one or the green one)

Cons:

- Stings a little bit

I finally found my remedy! Yay! I had severe acne with cystic acne covering my whole cheeks. My dermatologist helped me so much with prescriptions (a gentle cleanser cream from Avene, a topical cream Epiduo Gel and antibiotics). My acne has reduced, but i was still having some cystic pimples. But my skin was sooo oily, and the reason was the topical cream. Noow, in the morning, i wash my face with just WATER (about 15 times), then moisturize. In the evening, i use a micelle solution for babies (Bioderma H2o) with a cotton pad, until it is clear (just 2 cottons pad , and about 8 when i'm wearing foundation) theeen another cotton pad with the milky liquid from oatmeal (i mix water and oatmeal, then i "press" oatmeal and then you have a sort of milk). The benefits of oatmeal for our skin are amazing. After that, i rinse my face with water only (about 15 times). I moisturize, wait about 2 hours and apply LIME (the green one, not the yellow one). My skin is now 95% clear, and my scars are fading :)

Pros:

Reduces redness
Prevents most acne forming
Makes skin smooth and evens skin complexion

Cons:

Just stings a little but hey it's worth it!

I have only been using this for a week and results are looking good. I have had post acne red marks on my chin now for about a year and nothing seemed to be helping them. At night I wash my face with a clearasil skin perfecting wash that contains a moisturiser. I then pat my face dry and wait around 15 minutes before doing anything else. After this I squeeze a lemon onto a cotton bud and apply it to my whole face and neck area. I then leave it on over night and wash it off the next morning with cold water. This method has worked well on me so if you also have red acne marks I would definitely recommend giving this product a go :)

Pros:

fades acne scars
leaves skin feeling smooth
eliminates red marks
evens out skin tone
cheap
easy to apply
natural

Cons:

light stinging sometimes when applied to face - only lasts a couple seconds though!

I have quite faint acne scarring and after only using the lemon juice a few times - I have noticed awesome results! Ie wash my face with warm water and the natural soap from Carely's Clear and Smooth, ( the BEST skin care products! ) to get any dirt or make up off and then pat to dry with a clean face towel. Then I squeeze some lemon juice on to a little cotton round and slowly rub across my face in little circles ( mainly just on the areas where the light scarring is ) Be careful using lemon juice however - you dont want to rub in the same spot for to long because since lemon juice is acidic it can burn your skin! I then rinse with lukewarm water - pat to dry - and put on moisturizer. ( make sure to put on sunscreen if you are going outside! ) :D I totally recommend this product!

Pros:

I have been using this for four months now. I have very sensitive skin so I have only been applying it once a week for 15 mins then rinsing like 20 times. I rinse for a long time to get rid of residue that causes dry skin. If you guys are looking for a remedy for acne PITS this is it!!! My acne pits are not gone, but they are no longer pits. I am very confident that if I continue to use this and keep up the sun exposure, my pits will be gone by the end of the summer. It cleared up my acne!!

Cons:

DO NOT LEAVE THIS ON IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN. I think a lot of people who had bad reactions with this left it on for too long or left it on over night. Lemon juice is an alpha acid that will EAT your skin. Rinse this off very well (like twenty times) and you will not get dry skin or a breakout from irritation.

I have also been drinking lemon juice every morning along with putting it on my face. Look up drinking lemon juice on here and my post is the one with the long bottom point and a really good review. I really want you guys to read it because I am so glad I have found a cure for my acne INSIDE and OUT. I don't want anyone to have to go through this stuff! Oh yeah, I put the price as $3.50, meaning a whole bag of lemons. So incredibly cheap!!!
