Pros:

Smooths skin
Clears up acne
Helps with oiliness
Fades scars and dark spots
Brightens skin
Works wonders!

Cons:

None, aside from the point that many reviewers make that it may make your skin more sensitive to the sun... but at least it makes me remember to use my SPF moisturizer!

Really effective, inexpensive, and easy to use. I first used it last winter and saw a remarkable improvement, but then I got out of the habit. I have recently gotten back to using it each day -- like a toner, a bit on a cotton ball after I shower -- and it really improves everything about my skin, even existing acne. I have mostly hormonal acne (on my chin, and I know you understand that, ladies!), and it even helps with that. I don't have any need to wash it off, since I use freshly squeezed lemon juice that's gone through a sieve to remove pits and pith. I just put it on, let it dry, and use my moisturizer... which is Olay beauty with SPF, nothing fancy. You can even use a slice of lemon in a pinch, and sort of swab it across your face as you would a cotton pad. It's worth a try since it's so cheap and easy!

Pros:

-When a unexpected pimple pops up, i just apply a bit of lemon juice to that area and by the time i wake up the next morning, the redness is gone and the pimple is tiny (allowing me to cover it up with mineral makeup)
- Perfect if you wake up with a pimple day before big event

Cons:

- Did not do much for the scarring or exsisting redness on my face
- Can sting a little for about 2 minutes after application
- Drys out Skin (Just need a decent moisturiser to apply after)

Gets rid of new pimples as soon as they arrive, like a spot cream or treatment only its natural and cheap. I've used a whole bunch of well known brand products on my face to get rid of pimples but lemon juice is the only one that actually gets rid of the pimple in 24 hours. Not good to use on sensitive skin.

Pros:

Cheap, easy to apply & seems to work quickly!

Cons:

Not sure yet

I actually just tried this last night for the first time after coming across this site yesterday. The stinging is minimal, and only where I had a couple "raw" spots from recent blemishes. My biggest reason for trying this was 2 DEEP blemishes that were very big and painful. I had the lemon "mask" on for about 15-20 minutes, then cleansed, toned & moisturized before bed. When I woke up this morning those 2 blemishes are incredibly diminished! I'm blown away & will be putting this into my routine skin care to see how it will improve my skin in the long run!

Pros:

Tightens the skin
Makes skin look brighter
Pores look cleaner
Acne seems to be drying

Cons:

Stings a lot

I have just tried this treatment a few times but every time I try it my face instantly looks brighter. It stings a lot so I haven't mustered the courage to use it on a regular basis but I will try to use it twice a week and post back with details.

Pros:

It's all natural
It's easy to access
It's anti-aging
Has vitamins

Cons:

Takes time, since you have to leave it on and then wash it again.

Dose not improve your acne.

I highly recommend doing it at least once a week :-) It'll keep your skin young and fresh in the long run.

Pros:

pimples appeared smaller after first use

Cons:

For me it only hurts for that first few secs. (Maybe I have a thick skin??? Haha.)

This is only my second time using..haven't seen any visible results on clearing skin or scars..Will continue using it since i'm not affected by the "stings" of lemon juice. Haha.

Pros:

i do not have pimples now, just brown spots. pretty much, i used it for a week and my scars were ALMOST gone.i used it together with my brother, and his scars are gone so i think it does works. keep out of sunlight while using this, or use sunblock

Cons:

i'm not sure but it seems like after a week the scars were back, maybe it's turning from brown to red or cause i went out into the sun without sunblock (darn), i'll keep my fingers crossed.

it works, but of course you'll need patience. do not leave it overnight though, it doesn't do much after the stinging sensation's gone. ( i studied about acids and the stinging sensation's due to the H+ ions in lemon that's reacting with your face, and because their weak acids they have few H+ ions. so after the stinging sensation, the acid in there is pretty much used up) i would recommend using moisturiser before bed, my skin feels smooth when i do that(: and for oily skin it works cause it regulates the oil production.

Pros:

MIRACULOUSLY clears pores!

Cons:

Stings for a bit.

Every night, I squeeze a bit of lemon and apply it with a cotton earbud thing onto my nose, where I get those nasty blackheads. I leave it on for the night. The next morning, it's a miracle, literally! Most of my pores are clear, and the icky blackness is gone. Lemons really do work....even BP doesn't work so well. Getting lemons is bit of a bother, but I squeeze heaps in one week and then just leave it in the fridge.

I suffer with adult acne.I have gone to the dermetologist, tried different products from the store, but truthfully nothing has worked for me like the juice of a lemon DILUTED with fresh water.I makes my skin glow and gives it a youthful apperance.I love when I gather with my friends and they say to me,"your skin looks good".But I must say,it does take consistency and if you stop the usage your marks may reappear...I have experienced this also.
