Pros:

dries out those shiny lumps
gives the skin a lovely glow
lightens dark marks

Cons:

burns initially
may overdry the skin

this stuff really works, i used to be soooo pretty until the acne took over. Tried everything from, contraception, proactive, dermalogica, you name it i tried it and the results were not worth the price paid. I use the lemon juice neat on a cotton ball in the morning and evenings. My skin was glowing by day 3 and my acne has dried out. In time my skin will smooth over. Thank god for mama nature!

Pros:

It is cheap and easy to find.

Cons:

Has a slight sting when first applied but goes away in a few minutes.

When I first started using Lemon juice, my back acne immediately cleared up within a day. The red marks on my back are still noticeable but they are also diminishing as the days go by. My face though is another scenario. My forehead must have the same qualities as the skin on my back because it too cleared up just as fast. My chin though not so much. It has always been my problem area. I don't have bad acne but I usually get one big bump on my chin that can last up to a few weeks before it goes away. I am hoping that the lemon juice will help get rid of them. I have only been doing this for roughly a week. I read it could take up to 3 weeks for full results, so I am willing to wait for results like my back and forehead.

Pros:

It works pretty well

Cons:

It stings like hell at first, no joke. Just think happy thoughts during the first few minutes and it'll die down at some point.

I like to mix my lemon juice with some honey and cinamon (smells amazing!) and put it on. I just get a cup, squeeze the juice of a lemon out, remove the pits with a spoon, mix in some honey and cinamon, and stir it until it's evenly mixed (no clumps or anything). My skin's a bit sensitive, so I add some water to it too. Then I just get a cotton ball and rub it on. It makes your face red, but the redness goes away after a bit. It fades your scars and shrinks the acne, but it dries up your face ALOT. I really don't recommend this for people with sensitive skin, or if you do have sensitive skin, water down the lemon juice a lot. The lemon juice BURNS like a bitch at first, but don't give in to the temptation of sprinting to the sink and washing it off. Sit tight and it'll go away after a bit.

Pros:

100% natural, simple, fast, inexpensive and effective!

Cons:

Burning and stinging sensation. A lot.

I have been trying this treatment for about three days and it really does work! I used to have this huge pimple on my cheek and a few hours after I applied lemon juice on it, the redness and swelling went down considerably! I still have the blemish on my face but the juice really speeds up the healing process. I have a lot of blackheads near my chin and on my cheeks and I can already feel them going away. As for the scars, I haven't seen a huge improvement as others claimed. But it's only been a few days so I'm not going to give up just yet! To balance out the dryness, I use Vitamin E oil. I have really oily skin and applying the oil topically actually made my skin break out so I decided to take them orally instead. Vitamin E can actually help with your scars so that's the other main reason why I'm using it. Another thing- lemon juice is extremely acidic so it WILL sensitize your skin. Don't forget to wear sunscreen! I hope this helps :D

Bottom line this stuff works.I wash my face with my normal face cleanser, then apply the lemon juice with a cotton ball, and I left it on overnight. When i woke up I could really see the results blemishes getting lighter and my face felt extra clean. After all the crappy medicines tha doctors have given me I can not believe this is what I really needed. TRY IT IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros:

Smells GREAT!! Easy, affordable, and REALLY works!

Cons:

stings a bit

I have such bad acne scars dotted around my cheeks that I thought would NEVER disappear, they always made my face look red and nasty. But now they're gone!! I got tired of squeezing lemon juice, so I slice up a piece of lemon and apply it to my face after I take a shower at night, and after I wash my face in the morning. My mom thought I was CRAZY but it got rid of my white heads, black heads, shrinked my pores, and LIGHTENED My acne scars!! My face is totally smooth and not so red looking anymore!! TRUST me, I have tried Everything and the only thing that truly works is lemon!!

Pros:

Actually does the job.

Cons:

May sting a little, but not much.

I've had horrible acne for 2 years, and I've tried everything. Absolutely nothing worked. A friend of mine on an internet message board recommended this to me, and it's been amazing. Within days, the swelling goes down on all of them, and they begin to dry up. Within 3 weeks, they're almost gone, and the scars are almost nonexistent. This is a cheap, immediate cure for acne and I will stand by this as the best treatment for acne ever.
