Pros:

It's the greatest I want to tell every person that walks by me with acne.

Cons:

Burns if you do a facial scrib before applying.

I have gotten rid of all my other skin car products that I have used and now I only use LEMON JUICE FROM FRESH LEMONS. I fell like I have been jipped with all the money I have spent and the answer to my bad skin is LEMON JUICE.

For me it only lightened my dark spots but that's still a plus :)
Starting getting acne as age 30 was approaching. I was devastated. I turned to Proactive. It worked. However it's 7 years later now & I've started to notice dark spots on my forehead and chin area (old acne areas). I researched the causes and found that the benzyl peroxide is harsh for the skin especially when going into the sun. I found the lemon remedy online and stopped the use of proactive. The LEMON HAS FADED MY DARK SPOTS SOOO MUCH! IN THE PAST 3 MONTHS!. I'm so relieved and thankful, however not the same cannot be said about my annoying acne on my chin and sides of my neck. The acne is still there. I will continue to try and find an alternative to proactive but I'm not going to lie I think about going back to Proactive everyday :( Bottom line, TRY IT!, It may just work for you. You never know :)

Pros:

Helps face acne red marks
Reduces oil and redness
Makes your skin soft
Cheap and easy for good results

Cons:

I guess dealing with fresh lemons? (more complicated than opening a tube of cream, but still not a big deal)
Still unsure if it works at reducing active pimples

It helps with red marks, and it does so fairly quickly. I have only started applying lemon a week ago but I can already see results. My red marks are fading a little bit and it feels like my redness is not as bad. I squeeze fresh lemon into a small plastic container then add a bit of water to dilute it (50-50). I take a cotton pad, dip it then gently apply it to my entire face and neck. It doesn't sting at first, it takes maybe a minute and it lasts about another minute. I leave it on for 15-45 minutes then rinse with water. I try to do it twice a day, but usually do it only at night. I follow with my serum. I'm not giving it 5 stars yet because I haven't been using it long enough to know for sure it's working... PLEASE TRY IT! It's cheap and will probably give you good results within less than a month! It's totally worth it.

Pros:

Works like a toner
Fades acne scars
Prevents reinfection
Good astringent!
Healed acne fast
Skin is soft :3
I don't even wear foundation anymore to cover myself up.

Cons:

Stings. But, yeah.
Dilute your FACE first, leave the water on it, and the rub the lemon in. Putting lemon juice on dry skin isn't that great of an idea.

Some people claim it makes skin sensitive in the sun. I say that it's that way for some, but I NEVER go outside.

Only use it while you have a break out, then in the middle of the treatment, give your face one day to rest before using it a bit more. Once it's healed, stop and don't use until you get a break out again.

For notice: I break out mostly on my forehead and under my cheek bones, and on my chin. I also break out on my shoulders, a tad bit on my sternum, and my lumbar region. I have very oily skin and am prone to black heads, hard spots, and pimples on my face. On my back and on my chest, I'm prone to pimples. I have a regimine that's been working for my face and back, and I also change my pillow case and use a detergent that's perfume and dye free. Some parts (like the scars, black heads, and oil) were persistent. When I saw the reviews for lemons, I decided to give it a try by using it as a toner. I bought a few lemons, and then cut out a small wedge. After I took a shower with a mask, I rinsed my face with a cleanser and left it wet. Then, I actually took the fruit of the wedge and started lightly rubbing it in my problem areas I left my skin wet so it'd be diluted, when I put the lemon straight on my face. It stung a little on my already broken skin and somewhat on the rest of the areas, but it was barely stinging. BARELY. I didn't rinse it off, but instead let it sit there for about thirty seconds, then used my moisturizer, sunscreen, and Clearasil. For my body acne, I rubbed some water on my back's problem areas, and then rubbed the lemon in. And holy CHEESE AND CRACKERS did it STING. I grit my teeth and did the little "ow ow ow" dance, resisting the urge to rinse. I let it sit for longer than I did on my face, and then I rubbed some scar lotion over it, and then the acne cream. The results: MY FACE LOOKS AMAZING. Blackheads are diminishing, and my pimples have gone down. Hard spots are still there, but I use a tool to be rid of them. Scars are almost gone. Back acne is gone, scars are still there but fading. Remember, water on face first, THEN lemon juice. Use a light moisturizer with SPF over it and rub it in. Use it DURING THE DAY, not at night. I'd honestly avoid going outside until your skin is hea

Pros:

Lightened my acne scars
Helped heal open acne wounds

Cons:

Little bit of a sting!

I had some open acne wounds, and they healed VERY fast when I applied this! It did sting but only for a second. I also had some red marks and after applying the lemon juice within 12 hrs the old skin started peeling and the new skin was underneath. I will always use this now!

Pros:

Brightens skin
More even tone
Lightens spots and helps with hyperpigmentation
Cheep
Natural
Can easily be mixed with other ingredients

Cons:

Can cause over-drying if used straight or if left on too long

Lemon juice is a great, natural way to combat acne and scarring. I prefer to add the juice of 1/4 lemon to equal parts organic honey and sugar (about 2 TBS each) for a refreshing scrub. Sometimes I do a quick treatment in the shower; other times, I leave it on longer as a mask (30mins-1 hour). It does work best when left on for a while. Just make sure to put your hair up/back because it is sticky/messy. Wash of with warm water. The lemon juice tightens pores and brightens skin. The honey moisturizes and helps heal your skin. The sugar acts as a great exfoliant. My skin can tolerate both white and brown sugars. For those who have very sensitive skin, brown sugar would probably be best - since the granules are finer/less abrasive. Keep in mind, too, that the lemon is very acidic and does penetrate skin - so be extra gentle until you know how your skin will respond.

Pros:

Reduces redness
Dries pimples
Does work.

Cons:

Leaves skin somewhat dry (can easily be fixed by an oil free moisturizer)
Itches a little bit on contact

At first I was skeptical about putting pure lemon juice one my face but I decided to try it anyways. For the first few days I didn't really notice any difference but on the 5th or 6th day the redness really started to go down. I don't have many pimples, but I have lots of post-acne red spots. I use just cetaphil cleanser for all skin types, gently, and then apply lemon juice at night, and then a thin layer of retina-a (prescribed by doctor). In the morning my skin feels and looks great and is very soft. I've noticed a dramatic change in the clarity of my skin and strongly recommend this to anyone.
