Pros:

I have oily skin and its keeps my skin less oily and gives it a clean feel and look

Cons:

The con is you have to keep it cold so when it touches your skin it's freezing

I actually blend a cucumber and some lemon juice together I then put it on my skin a few time a day. Cucumber is known to be great on acne that is why I mix it in.

Pros:

got rid of my pimples in just 2 weeks

Cons:

none

I've been suffering from acne for 1 yr,for 26 years i never had acne, my skin was fine, den i used the clinique 3step wishing to have a nicer skin and broke out after 3 days of using, i was so sad because i had pimples on every part of my face not just few pimples, but lots and lots of pimples. I tried everything from gycolic acid, proactiv, neutrogena, clean and clear, natural stuff like green tea, aloe vera nd etc and etc. i must have spent a fortune buying stuff that didn't work, den 2 weeks ago i read that drinking lemon juice with hot water b4 having ur breakfast cleanses your liver, so i tried it and after 1 wk i could see the difference and after 2 weeks i only have 1 pimple left, iam so amazed and happy, pls try it! the best lesson that i learned, don't be brainwashed of the things that big cosmetics and beauty companies sell, if you have a blemish free skin don't put anything on it or you might feel sorry!!!!

Pros:

-Cheap
-Brightens skin
-Leaves face feeling soft
-Easy to use

Cons:

None!

Yes, it will sting. But who doesn't love the satisfaction of knowing that stinging is killing all that bacteria and making your skin better?? I've only been using it for 2 days but it has rocked my world!! Large pimples were dried up and tightened the night after I first started. It makes me start the day feeling clean. Just remember to use a moisturizer after, especially if you'll be getting some sun.

Pros:

Removes old (top layer) of skin, which helps new skin grow faster.

Contains AHA, BHA (known exfoliators) and Vitamin C according to other online sites.

Almost no effect on pimples if used infrequently (see explanation in bottom line)

Cons:

Stings if used too frequently. Takes a few extra minutes time to cut up (1/4 for whole face), squeeze juice, apply, and wash off.

Must be used with other acne meds for best results. I used salicylic acid wash/benzoyl peroxide and adapalene daily (day and night respectively). Lemon juice once or twice a week. YMMV I'm an engineer so I personally like to think of it as a rate in/out problem. To improve one's condition the rate of new pimples forming (R_in) must be lower than the rate of which pimples are removed (R_out). If R_in << R_out then you'll clear up very fast. For Lemon juice... it removes top layer of skin and makes new skin grow (complicated cell signaling stuff I won't get into =P). This causes pimples to be moved towards the surface more quickly. However, if used too frequently it may cause more pimples to form . Keep in mind that lemon juice may not be sterile (use sterile technique always! google it if you're not familiar with this). I recommend squeezing your own every time. Wrap unused quarter portions in saran wrap, fridge.

Pros:

Cheap
Easy to use
Leaves skin feeling smooth

Cons:

Itches

I've been using this thing for 2 days now. I heard that a lemon can lighten the skin so I bought one. My school had me in the sun for community service for hours over the summer and left my face and lower arms darker than my true color (I'm a light brown). I don't really notice any changes as far as the acne goes since i barely have acne. Although when I was dealing with bad acne it left me with a few dark marks on the right side of my face. I'm what you call a pretty boy so scars and two toned skin is a NO NO for me. First I wash my face with deep cleansing cream to get rid of the oils and dirt that might block the lemon juice from the full effect. I cut the lemon in half then I stab into the flesh a few times to get the juices flowing. I then squeeze it into a cup and add 3 table spoons of water. I take a cotton swab and rub it on my face and on my lower arms. It itched really bad the first time so I washed it off after like 2 mins. Later on that night it itched, but not as bad as the first so i kept it on for about 10 mins and then rinsed it off. I'll give it about a week to see if it helps in removing the scars and removing the darker shade of skin from my face and lower arms.

Pros:

Clears pimples fast! Reduces Rednes. Very cheap!

Cons:

Stings for a couple minutes after applied.

I started using lemon 5 days ago and already I'm seeing great results. I had a hard time clearing up pimples on my forehead and chin. Nothing seemed to work. The first night I put on lemon juice, I woke up and noticed that most of the pimples had already been cleared up. Although it does sting it is so worth it! It works better than clinical cream. Definitely not for sensitive skin though.
