Pros:

after 3 day of use, redness of acne is GONE, scars are less noticeable and skin is healing faster

Cons:

I'm in a sunny area and it is a MUST to use sunblock with this product.

I'm 26, suffered from mild acne growing up, recently had a sever bout of acne due to using products with salicic acid and not using sunblock. I say i'M goin to try this consistantly for atleast two weeks. Its no wonder we have to find out about natural remedies, because these big companies wouldn't make any money if we knew about them. It appears my recent acne scars that were red and not healing is doing just that. also cystic acne that was not clearing up, is starting to decrease in size and redness. always a plus! More confident. I am so excited about the health benefit of lemons I am doing the master cleanse fast for mental clarity, to rid my body and colon of toxics that I am sure affect my skin. I am not recommending this as it is an extreme fast. if you chose to do this however, keep in mind about the 3rd day on this fast your skin will break out slightly more due to the glycerol oils that come out through your skin.

Pros:

Evens out skin tone, good for sensitive skin, natural.

Cons:

Stings mildly.

This is my regimen for nights: Wash with baby shampoo. Let air dry. Squeeze lemon juice onto a cotton pad. Rub onto heavily scarred areas. Wait 10 minutes. Apply olive oil. I have very sensitive skin, so I try using more natural products, or things like baby shampoo. I lately tried Neutrogena Deep Clean products, and they broke me out, so I have heavy scars on my cheeks. I use this whenever a product breaks me out at night for two weeks, and always fades my scars away. I don't use this all over my skin, though. I have sensitive skin, but it is otherwise normal, so the lemon is too drying. My friends with oily skin use it all over and it works for them Lemon juice (NOT concentrated--never use that) works to re-even my skin tone out, and also helps clear up any pimples I have. One week down, one more to go.

Pros:

Reduces redness, pore size, treats seborrheic dermatitis, acne breakout frequency and severity.

Cons:

Slight burning sensation, initial redness, and itchiness are common.

I have light acne, but suffer from seborrhoeic dermatitis on the sides of my nose. And have used a whole slew of different products to help reduce their unsightly appearances and nothing has worked as well as lemon juice. I apply the lemon juice with a cotton swab all over my face and left it overnight. After the first night, my skin felt and looked amazing. Pore sizes were significantly reduced, the patch of dry skin from the dermatitis began to smooth out, and the read splotches around my nose and mouth were gone. It also made my face extremely soft and supple. I do this treatment nightly, and have noticed amazing changes in my skin's texture. This product is natural, and extremely affordable - the best part, it actually works! If you have sensitive skin, try diluting the juice with a little bit of water or mix in some warm honey to help counter act the stinging. Make sure you do some light exfoliation once or twice a week when doing this treatment to promote hea

Pros:

Smells good, Feel it working

Cons:

Stings a lot, dries skin slightly

i had a bad outbreak on my chin after a year of clear skin from using roaccutane, and the day after my first application the individual spots were smaller and less red, and the overall appearence was much better. i just rubbed the lemon on and waited about 10 minutes untill i washed it off.

Pros:

quick results, within a week or so...can see improvement in 2 days maybe less!depending on the person..fades acne scars and marks(potential scars or recently popped pimples)

Cons:

burns a little...none really, hasnt really had too much effect on my acne

I noticed that my bumps werent really the problem..a few bumps dont really bother me but all of the marks they leave behind that make it look like you have more acne than you actually do were starting to get a little depressing! :( So I've been drinking lots of water, taking a multivitamin...using vitamin e as a moisturizer and using LEMONS! as a spot treatment at night. Just cut a small slice, squeeze the juice apply with qtip to pimples and marks(discoloration) scars etc. I also tried a honey mask but that was only once.. My acne marks are actually fading very quickly!! I recommend that anyone who has more scars than bumps give this a try. My scars almost match the color of my skin its great! I've still got a little ways to go but its only been 3 days. i think its a lifestyle change if u want to get rid of acne...but not a huge change its the little things that count..water, vitamins etc. ..if youve been using lots of chemical this may be a good alternative...GOOD LUCK EVERYON

Pros:

Cheap, fades scars, pores are smaller.

Cons:

Itches and burns for a few minutes. Also not sure if it helped with the active acne, but scars seem a bit lighter.

It seems to be lighting up my scars. I had a few breakouts while using it but nothing like the cystic ones I used to have. Would happily take the small breakouts over those painful, huge scar leaving cystic ones.

Pros:

- works!!!
- inexpensive

Cons:

- can sting a little
- gets a bit sticky after a while

I'm really impressed with the results I've gotten from lemon juice. It's cleared my skin right up after years of only half-success with other methods. It took about 2 weeks of consistent use before I really saw amazing results, so stick with it!! Bottled juice works, though a slice from a fresh lemon is much more powerful - slice off a piece every evening, pierce it a few times to make it easier for the juice to come out, and rub it across your face. I only use it in the evening - I wash my face then apply lemon juice before bed, and wash it off in the morning in the shower. I notice at night that it can become a bit sticky, which is why I don't use it during the day. I only got minimal stinging, after using it for a few days in places on my face where the skin is the most sensitive; but it fades after a few minutes. Obviously not every remedy works for everyone, but this has definitely worked for me, so I recommend trying it!
