Pros:

Works Great!
Is extremely cheap
Relatively fast

Cons:

Don't use if you have any open wounds/cuts on your face or you'll be in so much pain.

It's great, if you use it daily with a cotton bud you'll get results, it is great at reducing redness and can even reduce the appearance of scars. It really helped me get rid of most of my acne!

Pros:

Smells nice
Works!
Super cheap

Cons:

Itchy a little the first time
Can sting
To much can dry out my face.

I love this! After only two times doing this I see a differnce. My skin looks so much nicer and way more even in tone. What I've done it put the juice on a cotton ball, put all over my face and my shoulders where I also get some bumps and left it on for about 10min. Then I washed it off with a cool washcloth. Then I used honey on my face as a mask. Kind of a dripy mess, but it works! Just keep ur face over a bowl lol. Then I washed off the honey in the shower. The redness I had on my face and my shoulders is gone! Just be sure to but some mostioure back in your face after the lemon if you can't do the honey mask right away. I'm so glad I found this site I'd never heard of this before!

Pros:

+If you have a lemon tree (like I do) ITS FREE! If you go to the store, ITS CHEAP!
+Slight glow (not too dramatic)
+Kicks pimple's ass
+Gradually reduces blackheads
+Slight reduction of redness
+Slight reduction of pores

Cons:

-Stings like a mother...especially after you shave :/

I have been insecure about my skin since high school. Some people are blessed when puberty hits them. But in some cases, like mine, I was SOL. My skin was HORRID! I would wear a black hoody and then I would try to cover my chin area with it in class (my chin was very severe). It has reduced as time went on, but recently I did a search out for the PERFECT SKIN. Lemon juice is on my face constantly. I love what it does to my skin. I feel my skin detoxifying before my eyes. Plus, I take cayenne pepper topically to help with my skin (Cayenne Pepper: 99 cents store, Empty Capsules: Vitamin Shopp or local pharmacy, dirt cheap) these two are opposites that attract. Look it up and give it a shot ;)

Pros:

Natural
Cheap
Evened out skin tone

Cons:

Can itch or sting

I've only used lemon on my face twice so far and I am already sold. I feel like my skin has a bit of a glow, the texture is smoother and a couple scars have lightened. I will defnitely continue using this. I have been using diluted lemon juice (fresh squeezed by me) as a toner, and rinsing after about 15 mins. But after seeing these results, I'm ready to try rubbing a slice on my face and letting it sit for a while. I also plan to spot treat over night to see if that helps. I had no problem with stinging while using the diuted lemon juice, it did itch however. Be sure to moisturize after use. My reccomendation is try this. Lemons are cheap and can be diluted to accomodate sensitive skin needs. Give it a shot, you've got nothing to lose but bad skin!

Pros:

reduces redness
leaves skin feeling soft
makes your face glow
inexpensive

Cons:

burns for a little while
can dry out sensitive skin

I can't afford expensive creams and whiteners, so I thought I'd give this a try. I squeezed a lemon into a container, kept it in the fridge, and applied at night with a cotton ball. Within a few days, I noticed that my scars were lighter. I'm not sure if I used it long enough or if I did something wrong, but this technique seemed to stop working after awhile. Nonetheless, I will keep trying it. It's definitely worth a shot. Just remember to use a moisturizer while doing this!

FAST ACTING

I never write reviews for products. But after trying this I had to share with everyone out there. I've had moderate acne for the past 4 years, it started my senior year of high school and just spiralled out of control ever since. I am now 21 and still suffer. Doctors and dermatologists have prescribed me everything short of accutane (which just isn't an option for me). After my mounting pile of failed products I decided to step away from Western medicine and synthetic cures and try some more holistic, natural remedies. I heard that applying lemon juice topically can significantly improve your skin quality very quickly. In addition to that, drinking lemon water is another way to calm and treat your acne internally. I've started doing both and, I kid you not, within 24 hours I've already noticed a DRAMATIC IMPROVEMENT. Try it. You will not be disappointed.

Pros:

gets rid of hyperpigmentation
drys up spots
refreshes skin tone
(if used regularly)

Cons:

doesn't prevent future acne

i had a major breakout just before i went on holiday for six weeks. whilst i was away i used lemon all over my face day and night for like 4-6 weeks. most definately it helped to speed up the process of getting rid of those spots, the redness and the god awful hyperpigmentation that followed. but in no way did it stop new spots from forming, nor did it get rid of those pesky under the skin flesh coloured bumps i have which seem to be the bain of my existence....

Pros:

-Smells very nice and refreshing
-Acne scars and pimples fade away over time
-Quick & easy to apply on
-Cheap
-Works for body acne as well

Cons:

-Can sting/initially irritate the skin

Cutting up a whole lemon into 1 inch bits will help extract as much juice as possible. I often use a cotton ball for wiping across my face and/or a Q-tip for dabbing lemon juice directly on a larger pimple once a day. Other people have said to wash after 15 minutes, but I prefer to keep the juice on overnight until I wash with a light acne soap bar the next day. My pimples (and scars!) have certainly made progress after a week. They're obviously not entirely gone, but I can definitely see progress after such a short period of time. Luckily I haven't gone through the laborious process of trying over the counter products and such, but lemon juice has been one of my most helpful natural treatments! I hope it serves you all just as well.

Pros:

-super cheap
-it totally clear out my face
-all organic,so no worries that everything is just temporary
-i dont have to wear any other cleanser
-left my face with radiant glow
-i have different people calling my skin 'beautiful' and asking me what doctor did i went to (just to point out how ugly my skin was before i started using this)
-if you have a fresh acne, you'll see the difference like 15 minutes after applying it.
-can wear as often as you want, with noticeable res

Cons:

-it takes like 3 month for my face to clear out of acne scars. but it was worth it.
--hurts like hell on a fresh, ripe acne
-needed to be applied consistently for cases like mine

For my face to be clear of acne scars (and acne, for that matter) like i have right now, i had to dump all my cleansers (from high-end to drugstore, and of japanese-korean variant) and focused on wearing the lemon juice (and make-up remover) alone on my face. I have hormonal acne,so accutane wont cure that (besides,i dont need the extra calory they come with). Im starting to have this extreme breakouts (puss-filled that left my face looking swollen and blotchy) when im hitting 20. I thought acne is supposed to stop when you've come to such age,but for me,it's getting worse. I even hit a period when i have this friends withdrawal because i know i look pathetic with countless acne scars (and fresh acne) on my face. Accutane wont work, and other trusted names were only worth using for 1 month, after that my face will revert to its old state (and worse). So i decided to ditch all the chemicals and to use fresh lemon juice as my mask and cleanser to see how it goes. It works, and i've been using it for 6 months straight right now. I still have heavy breakouts every now and then, but it's barely noticeable, because the lemon juice seems to put a stop to it. Just be sure to put it as soon as you noticed there's a lurker, and wear some fresh pulp on the spot and let it dry like a mask. I have gone 5 days without using any lemon on my face, and boy,i regrets it. Like i said,it's hormonal problem - something i cant help but to deal with it,that's why now i never go through a day without the juice. 2 days tops.
