Pros:

I have been using this for about a week. I should say that I've had moderate acne my entire life and was previously on prescriptions from the dermatologist, tried expensive brands like Clinique, Dermalogica and also drug store brands. Nothing could clear my acne completely, I always had a few new breakouts and old acne scares. This cleared my skin of all breakouts within two days and my old scars (purplish) are beginning to fade. All this after one week, I'm clear for the first time in my life

Cons:

None for me...may sting if you have sensitive skin, but after all the treatments and prescription creams I've used my skin is pretty tough.

Use it! You won't be sorry, hands down the best treatment I've ever tried with the quickest, most visible results. Not to mention cheap...

Pros:

It Works ~ and Fast!

Cons:

Stings, itches

Try it! I have tried everything Proactive, Acutane, expensive brands, Acne Surgery, Epiduo, Trention, Clyndimycin, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, everything, and nothing works as well as lemon. when I first found this post I figured I would try it, but I did not expect results. I had just broken out bad too, so I was expecting it would take months for everything to clear up. However within the first 3 days I noticed amazing results!! My skin is now clear of all active breakouts. I have a few scars that are quickly healing but overall I am thrilled with the results. I am continuing to get acne surgeries, but less frequently. Hopefully, in a few months I will have the skin I always dreamed of. TRY IT!

Pros:

skin clears up fast
evens your skin tone
fades scars very quickly
shrinks pores
cheap
natural

Cons:

stings (naturally)
bit messy (if you need to put it on your back)

I tried Differin, BP, loads of different facial washes, couple of pharmacy sold topical creams, pills (not roccutane). All that could keep my skin semi clear was benzoyl peroxide but it gave me strange red patches around my mouth even though i didn't apply it there. So I was reading reviews here and came across lemon juice reviews and decided to give it a try. It was great from the start. I ditched my nightly BP applications and started using lemon juice. One day I couldn't find anything in my fridge and didn't bother to go buy some lemons at the store. Previous night my regular face wash finished. It was simple non fancy nivea wash for combination skin. I bought neutrogena acne wash with salicylic acid. In combination with lemon the next night it gave me redness so I ditched the lemon. But later I learned a valuable lesson - salicylic acid only makes my acne worse. And my old wash used with lemon juice gives me great results. I love BP but I hate those red patches around my mouth. So now I'm back to my old trusted nivea wash and lemon juice. It slowly improves because few days ago I had an awful whole face break out I didn't get since age of 14. So bottom line, start mild, lemon juice on your skin for 10-15 mins then you can leave it on for the whole night and even use it in the morning.

Pros:

Natural (No unknown chemicals mixed in it that may cause skin cancer that most treatments for acne scars have these days)
Lightens skin in a short period of time

Cons:

Stings like a b*tch! Seriously, I really felt the juice burn my face although it only lasts a couple of minutes upon application. It's all well worth it though!

I was skeptical. But now? I'm glad I tried this! I have naturally tanned skin (not too dark though, but more of a "light" brown). So when I get pimples/acne, the redness isn't as obvious as others who have a lighter complexion. And when they heal, I don't get red spots left over either but they instantly turn a dark brown, sometimes almost a dark gray. So although I get acne from time to time (usually when it's almost that "time of the month"), my main problem is actually the scars. Thus, the lemon. I tried this exactly 6 days ago. I was pleasantly surprised. It's no miracle of course. My scars didn't fade overnight (like some reviewers here have claimed). I use the lemon juice (squeezing a thick lemon slice and putting the rest in the fridge for another day's use) and squeeze all the juice into a cup. I use the juice directly on my cheeks with a cotton ball where most of my scars are and a portion of my neck which has a dark area (although I have no idea why that area is slightly darker) without diluting it (I assume my skin could handle the natural remedy after years of using other random chemicals). After the stinging from hell, I leave it on until the next time I have to wash my face, which is at night and do the same process again. I used the lemon juice as a toner by the way (after I cleanse: morning and night, and exfoliate: every other day). So after I cleansed a few minutes ago, I faced the mirror if I could see any noticeable results from the lemon juice. My face has been softer and firmer since initial use. The scars on my cheeks have lightened slightly (or maybe that's just my optimism). But my neck however, has gotten considerably lighter! Not just the patch of darker skin but the surrounding skin that was hit by the lemon is lighter too! It may look weird but I was happy the lemon actually worked! I just hope my cheeks would get as light as my neck did as well. I'll be sure to review again after 2 weeks of use.

Pros:

Lighting skin
fade spot marks
reduce spots
shrinks pores
reduce blackheads

Cons:

Stings a lot, especially if you have sensitive skin

It made my skin really light and faded some of my old spot scars =) made my pores smaller and my face was less oily. Dilute if you have sensitive skin and always remember to use an oil free moisturiser as it can be too drying. I urge you to get it a try!

acne/acne scars disappears
evens skin tone a bit
smells good
natural cleanser
soft skin

Cons:

when it dries, its hard to stretch your face

I AM IN LUV WITH THE LEMON! Instead of people buying all these expensive products, they should go to their natural resource, the lemon. Before I sleep I rinse my face with cold water, then using a cotton ball i circulate lemon juice on my face. For a better result, I let it sit there and dry up, then sleep with it on my face. I am going to try to keep this routine in my blood, cuz this is a good method to use to have that clear, supple face i've always wanted. :D

Mix it with pure raw honey
I mix it with pure raw honey so it won't sting and leave it on my face for 15-30 minutes. Raw honey helps with acne as well. If it doesn't work, reconsider your diet and make sure you're drinking enough water per day. Also, make sure that you're using a natural moisturizer. I use raw virgin coconut oil as a moisturizer -- and no, it does NOT clog my pores. However, coconut oil helped me get rid of my acne.

Caused huge breakout
Got caught by the hype train here and since so many were getting great results with it, I thought that it won't hurt trying. I've had acne since i was 13 (17 now) and about a week ago, i was the clearest i've been in years, no pimples or whiteheads and my marks were lighter then ever. But even tho my marks were lighter, i still wanted to speed up the process of getting rid of them. So I looked around and found this page and read all the positive reviews. Later that day I bought a couple of lemons and started applying on my marks with a q-tip at night. I felt some slight burning which according to the reviews should be good so I countinued doing this every night for 5-6 days. Now, 1 week after I started putting lemon juice on my face, i'm currently experiencing the worst breakout of my life and since I have changed nothing else with my routine which was basically just cleanse my face twice-a-day, the lemon must be the cause. I would NEVER recommend anyone to try this as while it seems to work for some, it can also f*** your face up. EDIT: So might aswell edit this one, over 2 months has gone past and im still in the same huge outbreak, its better for sure but nowhere near what it was before that fruit from hell and as a response to the comment below, thanks but no thanks im never putting that on my face ever again, not even for 10000$...

You gotta be careful, you are at that tender teenage age. You should only use this remedy only 2-3 times a week. Trying only leaving the juice on for only about 10-20 minutes only and then rinsing it off. And never forget to moisturize thoroughly afterwards, because the lemon makes your skin dry.

Works well for acne and hyper-pigmentation
Due to my cycle, my skin recently broke out. It looked like I had severe acne, which was particularly concentrated on my right cheek. I'm currently working in a country where I don't speak the language, so going to a pharmacy or a doctor was out of the question. I bought some lemons from the local grocer and decided to give them a try. Every night I applied lemon juice to my cheek with a cotton pad. Occasionally it would sting at first, but I found my skin didn't dry out or react badly to the lemon juice. I did not dilute it and personally I haven't found any problems. Immediately my pimples improved and recent marks faded rapidly. I found it was not as effective on older hyper-pigmentation but I really don't care. I have no more pimples and the scars that were there have significantly faded. This was over the course of 1-2 weeks. I have very sensitive skin and I suffer from psoriasis on my body and scalp (although I obviously don't suggest putting lemon juice on broken skin). But if you're worried if your skin is too sensitive, it's worth giving it a try (at least once). I highly suggest giving it a go, but just be very careful about going out in the sun!

Acne & Pimples
I've been having acne since fourth grade but wasn't as bad as it is now! I started searching up ideas on how to clear acne fast & the options I mainly got was to apply freshly squeezed lemon onto a cotton & gently rub on your face.. Its recommended to do it ONLY at night bcus if it's done in the daylight, the sun will radiate to your face (if lemon juice is applied) causing it to redden or I guess that just depends on the skin? Can someone please tell me if this treatment actually works? If so, how long would it take to see your acne clearing up almost all the way? Tonight is my first time trying it, wish me luck!!
