Pros:

Controlled oil overproduction, Faded dark marks

Cons:

Caused small bumps

I used this product and it initially worked and I was over joyed. My super oily skin was NORMAL and also all my dark marks faded COMPLETELY. About 2 months into using it, I started getting small bumps (a type of acne I never had) all over my face, in places that I never had acne before (ex. temples, eyebrows) so I had to stop using it. My face was the clearest it had ever been and I thought i found my miracle product, but unfortunately, it did not last. Maybe you will not experience the outbreak I did. It did work VERY WELL initially which is why I am recommending it.

Not for me...
I was excited to try this and was really disappointed. I had originally bought it to help with my crazy oily skin, and reduce hyper pigmentation. I tried it for a few days and broke out, I kept using it because I thought it was a purge, it just kind of stuck around, It didn't get any worse or any better. Plus my skin was still as oily as ever.. I didn't like how it felt putting oil on my already oily face.. I stopped using it after a week or so and my skin cleared within 2 days. Oh well.. I do use it in my hair and it makes it SUPER soft so I guess if it doesn't work on your face use a little in your hair.

Not good for acne prone skin
As an adult I rarely have any acneanymore. I started adding a couple drops of jojoba oil to my moisturizers, I even tried using it plain, and I mixed it with aloe vera gel to see if that would work. Regardless of what I tried I constantly was breaking out. I used it for two months to give it a thorough try. As soon as I stopped using it my acne cleared up. I've researched it some more and there are better oils to use, like hemp oil. Look up the comodegenic rating of an oil before you start putting it on your face. [link edited out] removed]

Pros:

makes skin look and feel plump
moisturizing
feels good

Cons:

made me break out like crazy

My acne used to be pretty bad, moderate to moderately severe, which left tons of PIH and some light scarring. I've finally been able to clear up some of my acne with a holistic skin care regimen and decided to turn to the remnants of old acne. So, having heard excellent things about Jojoba, I decided to use it as a moisturizer. I got organic jojoba oil, but it may not have been first-pressed or unrefined (I figured organic = unrefined, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't, and it needs to be unrefined). For the first few days, I thought I'd hit the jackpot. But I got a terrible breakout by the end of the week--in places I NEVER got pimples. If classes weren't going to start so soon, I'd have definitely stuck with it to see if it was just the IB. I'm pretty sure it was IB because of the unusual places I broke out, and I'm sure this stuff is really a great thing if you've got time to let your skin purge, but if you've only got a few weeks, this might not be what you want to try. If my skin still looks iffy by next summer, I'll give it another shot. Now, I need to clear up my poor face again.

Pros:

- clears up flakes
- moisturizes

Cons:

- caused me break out
- causes shine

does a great job for moisturizing and flake control but bottom line is it broke me out after using for a few weeks. i gave it 2 stars for moisturizing and flake control however the fact that it causes some skin types to break out and in my case SEVER break out with cysts it loses a good rating. for some this might be a great product however its put me back in my regime by atleast 3 weeks due to the length of time itll require for my skin to repair itself.

didn't work for me.
This doesn't work on my face as a moisturizer. I read about people using it to massage into their pores and then rinsing..it was supposed to loosen clogged pores or somehing I guess..didn't work for me...left my skin looking quite strange and broke me out. Its good as a scalp treatment tho.

Pros:

Really good moisturizer
Makes skin feel nice

Cons:

Makes face look oily
Causes little red comadones

I used this once with the Regimen when my face was dry and the nest day my cheeks were covered in small red bumps, which I later discovered to be comadones.

Pros:

Made my skin soft

Cons:

Caused MASSIVE clogged pores that turned into red spots

I started using 1 drop of jojoba oil (so nothing excessive) in with my moisturiser and applied it to my face twice daily. At first my skin seemed quite happy, as well as nice and soft. After a week or so I started getting breakouts around my chin and mouth where I've never had them before. These were very red and tender, and when they came to a head a MASSIVE plug came out. I mean unreasonably big, about 5 times the size of my normal clogged pores. At first I didn't attribute this to the jojoba oil as everyone has said it doesn't clog pores, so I persevered. Nothing else had changed in my routine, but I tried switching to a non-fluoride toothpaste, which after two weeks hadn't helped. At this point I decided to dig further on jojoba oil and discovered that it can be pore-blocking for SOME people. I guess I am one of the unlucky few. My skin also didn't like bio oil and vitamin e oil, so maybe this kind of product just isn't for me. I've used jojoba oil consistently for about 6 weeks so I'm sure this isn't an initial purging phase.
