Pros:

Makes your skin nice and soft.

Cons:

Totally ruined my face.

Before using the oil I had light to moderate acne. After one week of using the jojoba I started to break out quite badly, loads of white heads and major clogged pores. I decided to wait it out encase this was the purging period. Used it for 6 weeks and my skin just became horrible. After I stopped for a week all of the inflammation had gone back down, but a month later I am still experiencing ridiculously clogged pores like nothing I have ever had before. Use with caution.

Pros:

Good moisturizer
Absorbs quickly

Cons:

Caused breakouts

After using this once, I got at least 5 huge pimples in unusual areas on my face. I waited a week and used one more drop, and got the same reaction. While jojoba oil helped with the dry, flaky skin, it made it worse by giving me big red bumps. I used Desert Essence Organic Jojoba Oil, but I don't think the brand matters. This may work amazingly for some people, but for others with sensitive skin like me, you might want to stay away from it.

Pros:

Incredibly Versatile.
DO NOT USE all these other moisturizers claiming perfection, the trick is keeping nutrients inside the skin.
I also use for my hair after showers, has cured my mild dandruff.

Cons:

Can be a little greasy if too much is applied, however, easily counteracted by wiping off, or using less.

The best moisturizer by a country mile. So gentle. All these 'new' 'innovative' products for sale simply do more harm than good. i.e. shampoos which eradicate all essential oils in your hair. Keep it simple people, let the body do its work. I recommend reading these pages: [link removed] is a huge wealth of information about acne and rosacea here, changed my life reading about diet, PH, GI index, irritation etc. I even used there product for about 8 months, it really helped my skin, however ive switched to BP to get the final clearance complete.

Pros:

Helps out a lot with dry skin
Doesn't break me out

Cons:

Can make your face look shiny

I used to never have problems with dry skin. Like ever. Then last year, my skin started getting extremely dry and flaky. Any moisturizer that I have tried will not keep the dry skin away, by itself. I decided to try the jojoba oil, and it is the one thing that works for my dry skin. I've heard that some people use jojoba oil as a moisturizer by itself, but I didn't have much success with just that. But adding in a few drops to whatever moisturizer I'm using (usually Cetaphil) makes a huge difference. I still get a few flakes here and there, but nothing like my skin would be like if I didn't use jojoba oil. It does make your skin a little shiny looking if you use a lot, but that doesn't bother me. I'd prefer slightly shiny skin over very flaky skin. I can't tell exactly if it helps out with my acne in any way, but it doesn't make it worse in any case. And like a lot of people have mentioned, it does make a pretty good lip balm as well.

Pros:

Reduced redness SUPER fast!
Very moisturizing, flakiness is going away.

Cons:

none yet!

I bought this after reading a ton of reviews on it and bought it not even a week ago, and have seen outstanding results so far. My red marks are fairly new and they have been reduced a lot... I'd say 50 percent of the big red ones have been reduced. I have a lot of small brown ones still but oh well. It hasn't broken me out. I started organic ACV a week before the jojoba and never saw results like this. I am drinking the ACV and was putting it on my face too but decided to try the jojoba and just continue drinking ACV. I've been taking pictures of my face every day and saw very little results from putting ACV on my face but the jojoba is AMAZING!! I was diagnosed with PCOS in November and my face went from almost completely clear (retin-a) to horribly severe on my jaw line. The retin-a stopped working since it was hormones that flared up my acne. I'd say to anybody with acne, and red marks to try it. The woman at the health store recommended it for acne and red marks and I'm so happy I bought it! You have nothing to lose, if it doesn't work for your face, put it in your conditioner or body lotion!

Pros:

Controls oil production
Gives you back your natural skin tone
Allows less moisturiser to be applied, therefore less chance of pores becoming blocked

Cons:

When you first use it in your regimen it will bring up all the gunk just beneath the surface of your skin but its worth it

IT WORKS

Pros:

My skin has been very very dry due to use from Dan's BP and living in a dry climate. So, I stopped the use of BP and bought his jojoba oil. The first time I applied it, it felt like my skin had been so thirsty, and this is exactly what it needed. It felt like for the first time in perhaps a year like I had newborn baby bottom skin! My lips also are a tad plumper now that their not constantly dry. I used to have to exfoliate every day!

Cons:

None.

I bought this for my extremely dry skin, and it has done exactly what it was made to do. I use if after I apply my Murad spot treatment, let it sit, then pat the excess off so that my makeup doesn't slide off from the oil. I also exfoliate my lips with it using a washcloth.

A big surprise for me!!!
I never thought that with my acne I would be reviewing an oil, having been told my entire life to stay away from oils as they were bad for my oily skin. However last year I heard about OCM and bought a bottle of jojoba oil. Within one use my skin looked better. I then started using it as a moisturiser. I thought it would make me break out but it actually kept the acne at bay. It even helped my acne heal. My skin looks less oily now using an oil than it did when I did not use it.

Pros:

Makes skin feel balanced and elastic
Packed full of antioxidants
Only need 1 drop for your entire face
Doesn't clog pores
Reduces inflammation
Reduces sebum production
Stops irritation from Benzoyl Peroxide in its tracks

Cons:

Make sure to not use too much and 100% organic will NOT clog up your pores. This really nursed my skin back to health.
