Pros:

Wonderful. Gave my skin a great glow. Didn't cause more pimples.

Cons:

As a previous reviewer mentioned, I did have some eye trouble. There are two kinds of pink eye--viral, and bacterial. I had had viral before, but after using jojoba, I developed the bacterial kind.

I don't think the pink eye was FROM the oil, but perhaps I had some bacteria on my skin, which the oil transferred to my eye somehow. I did notice that my vision seemed a little blurry from some of the oil "melting" into my eyes. Just be careful of that, and you should be fine. Bacterial pink eye is much worse than viral!

Pros:

Anti-irritant, non-comedogenic, Really helped with my patchy, dry & horribly itchy red skin on my face that had reacted badly to BP and AHA. After one night of using jojoba oil on it's own my skin was softer, smoother, and red patches had faded a lot

Cons:

It can make you a little shiny and may take a while to absorb - but in saying that i used a lot of it.

It's a natural moisturiser that both mimics collagen and reduces sebum production, which is a major cause of acne. It's not going to irritate your skin, and as you only really need a few drops it should last a long time and has many benefits - so definitely give it a go! Especially if AHA or BP is irritating your skin.

Pros:

deeply penetrating, non-comedegenic, never goes bad (rancid), helps regulate your own skin oil production, so it is great for oily or dry skin.

Cons:

price

Jojoba is not actually an oil, it is a liquid wax. It's called "jojoba oil" for marketing purposes. It is molecularly VERY similar to sebum (the substance your own skin secretes). It's small molecular size allows it to penetrate deeply without clogging pores. It never goes rancid because it is a wax. Used daily on your face, while avoiding harsh soaps and detergents, you will see a reduction in blemishes after about a week of use.

Pros:

Does not cause me to breakout
Quickly absorbed
Long lasting moisturization

Cons:

none for me

I use the Jojoba oil on my lips when I am at home, especially before bed. I also add into my moisturizer. I tried putting the Jojoba on my face as a layer on its own, but that didn't work so well for me. I add one drop in the morning and 3 at night. The bottle is tricky to use, so I decanter it into a dropper bottle (e.g. from the container store) which stops it leaking and means I can actually get a controlled drop out! Also makes it more convenient for traveling - the actual bottle can be messy. I never used to be able to wear makeup as foundation would stick to dry spots, with this I can and I use a powder! I also dab the oil directly over rough spots / minor eczema. I can't say it it alone would stop spots as I use it with the acne.org regimen. In combination my acne has improved. Finally, I really like to use this on my hands also, because I touch my face and this way I don't have to worry about causing a breakout. I am so used to it now that I carry it with me every

Pros:

Works very well.

Cons:

None.

Yes, its greasy. But its oil, and that goes away if you use only a little bit. As for causing more acne, that's impossible because jojoba oil is a lot like your own skin oil. "Jojoba oil is similar to, and miscible with, sebum, which is secreted by human sebaceous glands to lubricate and protect skin and hair." [link removed]> As for pink eye, jojoba is a herb, and pink eye is from bacteria. Do your research people.

Pros:

its awesome and makes my skin super smoooottttthhhhh and redness has been reduced.

Cons:

haven't found any yet besides the oily look factor when you first put it on. I mix it with my face lotion and it works a lot better for me than just to apply it directly to my face alone.

I just want to say that I think its HILARIOUS that someone claims jojoba gave them pink eye! Pink eye is caused by getting poop in your eye.... literally some poop or some bacteria found in your poop. They should call it POOP EYE! Jojoba oil would not give you pink eye. hahahahahaha. Oh you guys, I love everyone :)

Pros:

Best moisturizer for daytime and bedtime. Pure - no added ingredients. One bottle can last for months.

Cons:

Who cares if the bottle leaks a bit?

You have to remember to measure by the drop. For me: 3 drops is enough for nightime facial moisturizing. 2 drops or less in daytime under my makeup. If I do end up with excess, it goes on my lips and my neck. I'm 58 years old and I love the way it softens my face. Also, I have not experienced any winter dryness since using this product.
