Pros:

* Tightens pores
* Cleanse
* Diminish blemishes
* Dries up acne/scars
* Skin less oily

Cons:

* Really Cold
* Redness for 4-5 minutes after massage
* Needs Consistency

I started using Ice cubes last year and they have done a really good job on my large pores, they also dry up you blemishes and scars by which diminishing and fading them with time and consitency. Costs nothing, and very practical. Just take 3-4 ice cubes and use them one after anohter. hold the ice cube in your hand and massage it softly onto your skin concentrating on large pores and blemishes ; I concentrate on the nose area. Do it till the cube melts and so forth. After a while you well notice your skin becoming less oily, your pores will minimize in size and your blemishes/scars will diminish and fade and start peeling off your skin. Works best for oily/combination skin. Use less ice cubes if you have really dry skin! You can also use an ice-pack if you want to do it while watching TV in the living room.

I am currently 16 years of age and have had acne for 5 years! I have used everything; antibiotics, benozyl peroxide, other acne creams, face washes (like 20 types), tonors and masks (natural and manufactured). I must of spent hundreds on these but they never worked! My acne is severe, and I have lots of scars all around my face, as well as big red pimples accompanying them. I searched up natural methods and found ice. I use normal ice cubes on my face twice a day, in the morning and at night, after I use my face wash and before I apply my moisturiser. I just rub it around my blemishes (not too hard), for about 5 minutes, then dry my face with a CLEAN TOWEL- trust me! After doing this after 2 weeks, My spots have literally disappeared, people have even pointed it out! My scars have faded, slower than my spots have cleared. I know you all probably want something that works overnight, but seriously, you won't find it, even if you do, it won't be for long-term. PLEASE try this, and even if this doesn't work on you, you will find a treatment eventually, just like I did! :) Good Luck!!

Works like a charm
I have oily skin and I have been fighting acne for more than 7-8 years, with my acne being overpopulated on the face sides, meaning that my cheeks, T-Zone, neck and other places have always been clear and I have an OK front look. It was my profile that would reveal my skin condition. Anyways, during these years I have experienced mild to medium acne and never been able to get it under control. Things I have tried include: Murad exfoliator and spot treatment, Aspirin tablets (Topical usage), Benzoyl peroxide as well as natural home remedies such as: coconut oil, lemon juice, turmeric, egg whites and many self-made masks. So I came up with a website suggesting ice cubes as a powerful skin remedy and I thought what do I have to lose?? Since a month ago I started messaging my face every night with an ice cube, letting it wet my face and I can tell you that not only I had no more new acne since then, but I also have noticed a pleasant glow and firmness in my skin. I also know some one else who claims she benefited a lot from the same method. So don't hesitate to use it.

How long did it take to get rid of your acne scars?
August 19, 2011

Pros:

Reduces redness
Closes pores
Calms irritated/itchy skin
Feels nice
Eases pimples
Not expensive at all
Simple
Easy To use
Soothing

Cons:

Face may be red after use but it goes away in a minute or so.
Results may be immediate or only significant after a few uses

I've recently been rubbing ice on my face, or I call them "ice facials." I use it twice a day, once in the morning and once in the night right after I wash my face. I rub an ice cube all over my face and then I press it on my problem areas, such as on cluster of pimples or on my nose where I have large pores and blackheads. I love the way it feels on my skin and it's good for those angry red pimples that hurt. It both reduces the swelling and eases the redness. Definitely try it out, I mean why not, ice cubes are so simple, everybody has them and they are so easy to use with no negative side effects.

Pros:

*Cheap, almost free.
*Really works.
*Makes your skin refreshed.
*Reduces oil on your skin.
*Simple to do.
*Reduces the general acne aspect on your skin.
*Makes you look younger.

Cons:

*May be so cold, if you use it too much on the same area can be painful.
*It may take a while for you to get used to, but it is worth it.
*It is good for you to try to make a bigger ice cub for you to use it just once; you will not want to go to the kitchen more than once to take ice cubes.

Great beauty secret, I do not want to stop doing it. My overal acne state improved. My skin is more beautiful. It is amazing.

Try it!
Let me say i just have tried so many things. My face started breaking out so bad this past year due to pcos. I always google everything and read so many reviews. I started getting heat rash on my forehead. This fl heat is brutal and the heat rash would all come to a head. So i had about 100 tiny pimples on top of my other acne. It has taken away my confidence and i've been severely depressed. Well i started taking an ice cube made of distilled or spring water. I put it in a thin rag and wet the spot where the ice is. I use acnefree just the cleanser once a night because twice usually breaks me out more. So after the cleanser i glide the cloth over my face and hold it in spots that are bad. I do it till it melts completely. After it dries i have cerave pm which i put on. I've been using the cleanser and moisturizer for over three months. But i've been using ice for four days...and my acne looks so much better and alot of it has cleared! I use the ice during the day if i'm overheated as well. It's definitely something to try. Like i said i read so many reviews trying to find help and i decided to write one myself because i was so impressed!

Pros:

-Reduces pimple size
-Fades scars over time
-Evens out skin tone
-Quick, easy, and you find it right in your house

Cons:

-Can be uncomfortably cold, but you get used to it
-Obviously not a miracle worker

I massage my face with ice cubes when my acne starts flaring up and I don't even want to leave my house. At night I wash my face, rub ice on it, wait for my face to dry and then apply benzoyl peroxide as a spot treatment. In most cases they shrink in size almost immediately, and for me it helps my makeup look more even and natural when I apply it the next morning. I highly recommend using this. It's the equivalent to getting some expensive acne product, minus the cost.

tones
revives skin

Cons:

none :)

I don't use plain Ice. Here's an amazing recipe, that works SO much better : 1. Make some green tea. Let it cool down for about 5 minutes. (open the tea bag and pour the tea leaves, I made about 2 cups of water and put in 2 bags, only poured in 1 bag of the leaves though) 2. Add about 4-5 vitamin E (prick the pill and pour in the gel) 3. Mix well. Pour in the contents into a ice cubes container (to make ice) I used a cupcake contain & it works better. This lasts in the fridge forever, just don't leave it over a year. There is a video on youtube about this by Michelle Phan, which is explained in detail. Good luck ! :)
